This could be one of the most important programming videos I have ever made. After installing the proper tools from the FreeDOS bonus disc, I made a script which sets up the paths so I can run 3 different compilers under FreeDOS. So far I have only tested them on the simple Hello World example. But this is an important step. Now that all the compilers are working, I need only learn some kind of way to do graphical programs in DOS. I have seen a few examples in videos but there is a lot of research I need to do. I learned the entire virtualbox installation process as well as how the compilers are used just from bingewatching FreeDOS video tutorials. This video will remind me of my development setup in case I forget how I did it.

CT Stacking 800 Lines This video is special because it is the first to properly show off my new welcome screen at the beginning of the game using only the bitmap fonts. This is also a new record of the longest run using my stacking style I invented which is based on ST stacking except that the well is in the center of the field. That's why it is called CT for "Center T" or "Chaste Tris".

712 Lines of CT Stacking I just made a major update to Chaste Tris using the bitmap font I have been working on. It looks retro but also very readable. This now means I have an independent method of displaying text no matter which graphics library I am using. However, the game is written using Raylib because it's extremely easy to get user input as well as load textures from images and display them.

I have created an infinite loop of clearing 4 lines at a time because the only block is the Long Boi! This is possible because I wrote the game and know exactly how everything works including the reading of an input file as an alternative to the keyboard.

CT Stacking with Chaste Tris I believe I have invented a new style of ST stacking. It's similar to existing ST stacking methods, however there are some pretty extreme differences. Unlike traditional videos or guides which divide the 3 groups of blocks into the 4 wide Left, 3 wide Center, and 3 wide Right, my method changes everything by moving the left side onto the right and then allowing the blocks to be softdropped and then moved over into the 4 wide which is now on the right, as long as it is higher than the center, which now has the Z and T blocks used for T spin doubles and Tetrises. This difference cannot be underestimated. There are several reasons. 1. It means less risk of topping out because the blocks spawn near the center and it's safer to build the sides than the center. 2. The blocks can be soft dropped into the 4 wide meaning that it's possible to leave gaps and fill them in later if you are unlucky with your block order. 3. It is possible to clear more lines in less time if the stack is kept high because it takes less time to drop them into position. The reason this method is called CT stacking is because it could stand for more than one thing. Center T Chaste Tris Chastity Tetris Chaste Tris is my own game I made and it's the first I have been able to achieve this play style. It may be possible in other modern Tetris games but it would require a level of perfect play that would be hard in Tetris games with actual gravity and less time to place the blocks. It needs more testing but there is nothing about it that strictly requires my game. However my game is supreme when it comes to saving and reloading to fix mistakes. As I succeed in doing it in more games, I will make more videos. For now enjoy this video which shows exactly what I am talking about.

I made my own Tetris game in C and OpenGL

I corrected the line clearing by writing a new function to move the blocks to the cleared lines below. Now it plays exactly like a real Tetris game except only the Cyan I blocks exist.

I had to reach player level 50 to unlock this stage but it's worth it because it has a remix of the original Tetris theme which was strangely not included in the soundtract.

My experience dealing with customers at work.

This is the first time I have succeeded at the 20 T Spin Doubles in a row challenge. This is the Mechanical TSD version 3 method. I don't usually use this because it's very risky but it's the easy way to get 20 T spin doubles in a row it can do 17 in a row with me only having to freestyle the last 3.

This method of clearing only Tetrises is guaranteed to work if someone has enough time to look at the piece previews and make sure that no gaps are left. There are 3 main groups of pieces that usually go in their place. In the future I may make a more detailed tutorial of how this works.

Behold the power of ultra instinct! This is the result of practicing non stop until I reached 24 T spins in the 2 minute blitz. I believe this to be the world record for T Spin Doubles in that time limit because probably nobody has tried this hard to push the limits of what can be done with the Mechanical T Spin Double loop. This is jstris but it matches my same record as on Tetr.io of 62 lines and a whole lot of them t spins.

I finally broke my record and got 23 T spins in 2 minutes. A total of 62 lines. I can't do this with any other pattern because nothing is as easy to memorize as the mechanical TSD. I'm pretty sure that most of the higher blitz scores are actually played by robots because there is no way that people are placing 6 pieces per second and getting perfect clears.
