This video is about my favorite style of vise-grip. The Irwin 10LW, 7LW & 4LW locking pliers. These are great for working on rusted brake lines, and soft hydraulic fittings on power steering & transmission lines. It's become my go-to wrench for rusted flare fittings. Patent # US5377567A - these were originally designed in the '90's as a bicycle spoke wrench.

Why can't they just print the ratio on the back of the bottle? It says to put 64 ounces in a 250 gallon tank. How much goes into just one gallon?!? We have to do math to figure it out...

In this video we'll do some "lazy woodworking" and make a wall shelf from dimensional pine lumber using a pocket-hole jig. These shelves are cheap and easy to make. They'll be as strong as whatever fasteners you use to secure them to the wall. Tools required are a saw, drill & a pocket hole jig. In this video I go over the 3M Cubitron Scotch-Brite fibre bristle 'wire' wheel that I use in my shop. This is one of my favorite tools. It's great for tool restorations. Safer than a traditional metal wire wheel, and requires less pressure to use. A must-have accessory for your bench grinder.

Today I'm reviewing the 5/32" mini pry bar tools from Tekton. These are made in the USA, only 6.5" long and come with 30 & 50 degree tips. Not quite small enough to be considered a 'pocket' pry bar, but they should be useful for electronics work, or any other small prying duties.

In this video 'Brandi' drops off an old woodworking clamp that some old guy left behind in her house. She thinks he might have been a Boomer. We'll save this vintage tool from the trash by cleaning it up, and doing a 'light' restoration on it. Also we'll apply a BLO (Boiled Linseed Oil) finish to preserve the wood. This clamp was possibly made by the Grand Rapids Hand Screw Co in the late 1800's, for another company called Geo. Carroll & Bros.

In this video I explain my theory on why ethanol gasoline turns to goo in the carburetor when left sitting for a long time. This applies to any small engine with a gravity fed carburetor. In this video I explain my theory on why ethanol fuel turns to goo in the carburetor when left sitting for a long time. We'll add a fuel shut-off valve to my walk behind string trimmer. This applies to any small engine with a gravity fed carburetor. At the end of the season I'll use this to shut off the fuel supply, then run the engine to drain the float bowl, before putting it away for storage.

In this video we use a $2.33 off the shelf part to make a knob for the relief valve on the #harborfreight 20-Ton Shop Press. This mod will work on any hydraulic bottle jack with a 'T' style relief valve. No fabrication required!

Today we're installing LED headlight bulbs in my Massey Ferguson GC1705 subcompact tractor. This upgrade should apply to all GC17xx series tractors, and most likely the GC2300 & 2400 too. Any tractor that uses 921 series bulbs for the headlights.

Today we are repairing this broken generic "made in China" dial indicator that I picked up at the flea market. This one appears to be from the '80s or '90s and is actually better made than the current production versions from Harbor Freight etc.
