Pomeranian Refuses To Stand Up Until He Hears The Magic Words
Three-year-old Ossol is ready to go to sleep, no matter how many times owner tries to get it to stand up. However, when she asks if he wants a snack, he magically hops up! Hilarious!
A dog can be your cutest companion in the house, no matter if you are a family man or a single. After all, dogs are considered to be "man's best friend". If you are planning to have your own dog, then you should know that there are a lot of dog breeds that you can choose from these days. These dog breeds differ on various levels. This is the main reason why you should take time deciding what dog breed to take. Even so, one of the most opted dog breeds in the entire world are the Pomeranians.
It is very easy to recognize a Pomeranian dog since it has a very beautiful and thick fur. As a matter of fact, it is its thick hair that makes this dog breed unique and recognizable. You can choose several colors of Pomeranian dogs such as black, white, and brown. This dog breed is actually a Spitz type. It is named Pomeranian simply because it originated from the Pomerania region in Central Europe, specifically in Poland and Germany. In addition, there are some other names Pomeranian dogs are called by, such as Pom, Zwers, Tumbleweed, Pompom, Zwergspitz, and Deutscher Spitz. Which one do you prefer?
If you are still undecided whether to get a Pomeranian dog or not, then keep watching this video as it is guaranteed to convince you. Footage shows a cute Pomeranian puppy rolling around on the floor. Her owner is trying to get him to stand up, but the adorable dog is stubbornly lying on the floor. Isn't that adorable to watch? However, everything changes when the dog's owner says the magic word, as to say: "Do you want a snack?". This dog really knows how good it is to have a nice eat. Just like every other dog who loves the idea of eating. This amazing Pomeranian dog is called Ossol and she is 3-years-old. If you are asking about the typical lifespan of this dog breed, it lives around 12 to 16 years. Want to get one today?
Pomeranian belongs to a smaller size of dog, and this explains why they are often considered toy dogs. In fact, this dog breed is called Zwergspitz in some other nations, which literally translates to "Dwarf Spitz". It was in the 18th century when Pomeranian dog breed firstly got its first great recognition, simply because during this particular era, Pomeranians were the famous pet dogs of the royal people.
Great example of these royals is Queen Victoria, who happened to be the queen of Ireland and Great Britain in the United Kingdom back in the 1837. It is interesting to point out that the size of this dog breed wasn’t that small, but over the years, dog breeders were able to breed a smaller size of Pomeranian dogs in order to make them look like stuffed animals.

Jack Russell Mom Prevents Puppy From Going Into Trouble
When a game of tug-of-war between a puppy and his father becomes too rough, the mother separates them in order to prevent an injury. What an awesome mom move!
This cute video opens in a living room with a game of tug-of-war already in progress. It involves a young Jack Russell puppy and his dad. It is a big blur of white and tan as 5 puppies and their parents scamper around the room. Suddenly things get a little serious between the male puppy and his father. Both the male pup and his dad are clamped down on a fluffy slipper and neither one of them is ready to give an inch. The mother Jack Russell Terrier has been monitoring their play and decides it's time for a break. Her motherly instinct kicks in and she gets between the father and the young male pup. Then she gently nudges the male pup away and pulls him to a safer spot. It's a remarkable display of a mother's protective traits when it comes to her young. She anticipates the possibility of injury and does whatever she can to prevent it from happening.
This protective nature is common in all animals. You will see this behavior exhibited in the female lion when guarding her cubs and even in the common house cat. How many times have we heard about a mother dog or cat making their way into a burning building to rescue their babies even at the risk of injury or death? This motherly instinct is so incredibly powerful!
Clearly, this video portrays that this mother dog has her hands or should we say (paws) full! She is simply trying to keep track of her puppies movements which prove to be quite a challenge. Her pups are in that frisky stage and all they want to do is explore and have fun. A Jack Russell Terrier is a good-natured and lively breed. They were originally bred for the purpose of fox hunting due to their high energy level and determined personality. They are very athletic and vigorous animals. They just love to chase after balls and seem to require a lot more mental stimulation than most dogs. You will often see them performing in agility courses which they excel at. They are not suited to a sedentary lifestyle. If you are looking for a companion couch potato, this breed may not be for you. If a Jack Russell doesn't get to expend a certain amount of energy daily, it can lead to boredom which results in negative and destructive behaviors.
The Jack Russell Terrier is highly intelligent and can learn tricks very quickly. They are often used in the movie business and in commercials because of their ability to follow instructions right on cue. They make terrific watchdogs and yet they can be very friendly with strangers. Their lifespan is approximately 13 to 16 years. It is highly recommended that if you own 2 dogs of this breed that you keep them separated when you are not there to supervise. This is due to their very dominant nature. A simple play fight over a toy can sometimes turn ugly and serious injuries can result.
Overall, the Jack Russell Terrier is a bundle of energy and well suited to people with an active lifestyle. You can see from this video that even at the earliest stage of life, their dominant and playful personality is already well-established.
Do you own a Jack Russell Terrier? We would love to hear your comments regarding their personalities in the comments below. If you enjoyed this video, kindly pass it along to your friends.

Baby Hand-Feeds Snack To Gentle Golden Retriever
Among the most adorable videos that the internet has to offer, dogs interacting with babies are definitely on the top. What makes those types of videos so special is that we always see dogs that would usually be excited and highly energized, act incredibly calm, gentle and protective around babies.
This extremely cute video perfectly illustrates the protective nature of such well-behaved dogs.
Here, we can see a beautiful Golden Retriever carefully interacting with the equally beautiful and incredibly sweet baby in front of him. Throughout the video, the baby is seen holding and offering a treat to the dog who appears to be very patient as he calmly approaches the baby's hand, sniffing and tasting the treat that is being offered to him. The dog remains perfectly calm as he observes the tiny baby, never exhibiting any sudden movements. He behaves wonderfully, indicating his gentle and protective personality that so many dogs possess.
However, why do dogs act so differently, namely so gently, around babies as opposed to their usual energetic behavior around adults?
There are many factors that contribute to this kind of behavior. Some of them lie in their innate maternal or paternal instinct that drives them to care for any young ones, whether animal or human. Dogs may use their highly powerful sense of smell to determine that the precious little baby in front of them is a human, and based on the size and certain features, may understand that it is, in fact, a small and harmless human baby, which, just as one of their own babies, needs special attention and care. Additionally, dogs are pack animals and will stay loyal to their owners whom they consider family and will always be protective of them. So, when introduced to a new pack member, they will accept and shower them with affection. Furthermore, the same way they would be extra gentle and caring around babies of their own kind, they may follow an instinct and try to care for and protect human babies as well. This may result in them not just approaching them with caution but also lie or sit beside them, always keeping a watchful eye, making sure that they stay safe at all times.
Though this is very common among many dogs, some may not be as optimistic and welcoming to a new family member. They might be highly territorial and will try to keep anyone new out of it. However, with proper training and patience, they can better their behavior as well. And soon enough, they will develop great trust and affection for their new playmates. This, in turn, will ensure a strong bond between dog and child and a loving friendship that will last for a long time.
The cute baby from this video has a future that will consist of lots of love and playful activities with their new best friend which will ensure the parents many more adorable moments to capture on camera that will surely brighten anyone's day upon seeing.
