Registered Hereford Bulls “Waiting Patiently 🤠”
How much feed do your Registered Hereford bulls get a day? And, what kind of feed do you give them? Excellent questions to ask when looking at bulls. All of our customers ask these same questions. They look at the videos of us feeding them out of 🪣 ... and the bulls body condition. Answer is...we have limited pastures with big and Lil bulls in the same pastures...for the bulls to meet full potential of their bloodlines we feed 10-15 lbs per bull of 📣Livestock Nutrition Centers “Maxigain 14%”... a fully fortified, 14% protein, high-energy grower ration that is designed to be hand-fed - hence the buckets 🪣 🤠

Puckster 2F “Wishful Thinking 🤨”
Registered Hereford’s are smart. Puckster 2F is admiring the heifers wishing he could visit their pasture. Puckster 2F knows just how close to come in contact to the Hotwire with getting zapped. Thank goodness 😅 they respect the Hotwire!

Winter Snow Storm 2021: Bragg Ranch “Taylor Orrell, Emerson Arkansas FFA”
Challenging week for farmers & ranchers! Snow is beautiful. Then on the other hand it’s life & death for animals if we do not intervene and sometimes it’s out of our control. Highways disappear into layers of freezing snow. Everything STOPS. You need 4 Wheel-Drive vehicle, winter clothing to work in freezing weather for hours & hours. Snow is hard to walk in and everything takes more time. Top it off with busted water lines and hoses. Now your thawing water pipes with torches and using a short water hose - long hose freeze to fast - breaking ice out of tanks - to refill 100 gallon water troughs twice a day X 6 troughs. Or, busting frozen ponds with tractor. Calfs are born you pray they live. By the grace of God you are trying to survive and keep your animals alive. Looking forward to Spring! SHOUT OUT to Taylor Orrell, Emerson Arkansas FFA “YOU ROCK! 💯 Thanks!!!”.

Herd Health: Registered Hereford Bulls
Herd Health is essential in developing Registered Hereford Bulls. Each bull has a Health Record designed for deworming, weights, and vaccinations. We load the big bulls first then the lil bulls. We work as a team. Each member has an important role to keep the operation as smooth and safe as possible. SHOUT OUT to Taylor Orrell, Emerson Arkansas FFA & Columbia County 4H “Appreciate all you do for the herd. Working double duty your always there to lend a helping hand!!”.
