Some of the strange phenomena’s I come across doing plumbing repair.

Of course apartment fails only happen between 10pm and 6am . This water line was leaking and I was hoping it would be an easy fix. It was a nightmare.

Ever get a sewer gas smell but you can’t figure out where it’s coming from?

A homeowner noticed sewer gas smell and could not figure out where it was coming from. After replacing the wax seal on the toilet the smell was still strong right by the toilet. This is how you pin point the problem . I just didn’t think it would be the actual toilet itself.

An ambulance managed to snap off two fire suppression heads. It was a long night trying to locate the turn off valves .

After creating a tunnel under the hospital, Flowable Fill is used to fill the hole. We had to do this after 12am , after marking above the floor I was sure glad that the hole lined up with the tunnel.

Roots in your plumbing can be a real big problem. This is what it looks like.

We received a call for a rotten egg smell . A water heater that was sitting dormant was full of bacteria . This one was very stinky.
