Jacques Loussier Trio, Royal Philharmonic - Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 (1970) [Complete LP]

The Jacques Loussier Trio was a French group which specialized in doing jazz interpretations of classical music.
This album was released in 1970 on London Records' Phase 4 Stereo series. Unfortunately, the London Phase 4 Stereo series seems to have been deleted from the catalogues. The audio here is taken from a Canadian pressing of the original London Records Phase 4 Stereo LP.

2. J.S. Bach - Brandenburg Concerto No. 5, 2nd movement 10:13

Gilbert & Sullivan Spectacular - London Phase 4 Stereo (1963) [Complete LP]
One Of Our Deleted Albums Series - London Phase 4 Stereo
London' Records' Phase 4 Stereo series were excellent technical recordings. As one example of their technical quality, they used 20 channel mixers at a time when the industry standard was 4 to 8 channels.
Unfortunately, the London Phase 4 Stereo recordings are deleted and out of print. But that makes them quite collectable so when I come across a second hand copy in good condition I buy it. I found this one recently in a local used record store.
This album of Gilbert & Sullivan highlights, featuring the D'Orly Carte Opera Company with Sir Malcolm Sargent conducting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, was released by London Records in 1963 under catalogue number SPC-21010.
