Russia scrambles jets over the Black Sea after a Ukrainian drone hits Moscow,..!
Russia said it intercepted two drones over the Black Sea on August 22, and on the following night, three drones targeted Moscow, with one crashing into an under-construction building. Ukrainian officials claimed civilian casualties from Russian strikes, with three deaths in the Torske region and injuries from explosive drones in Seredyno-Buda. Russian President Putin fired Army General Sergey Surovikin, the Air Force Commander, amid rumours of his involvement in a rebellion against the Kremlin. Contradicting perceptions of a stagnant conflict in Ukraine, a US official asserted that the situation was dynamic and Ukraine continued to gain territory.

Russian Bomber "Destroyed", Ukraine Drone Attacks Disrupt Moscow Air Traffic
Ukraine has destroyed a supersonic Russian bomber in a drone strike, according to reports from the BBC and Ukrainian media.
The reports were based on images posted on social media which appear to show the long-range aircraft, the Tupolev Tu-22, on fire.
The burning plane appeared to be located south of St Petersburg, the BBC reported, using visual clues and historical satellite images of the airbase.
Russia’s defence ministry said on Saturday that a Ukrainian drone had targeted a military airfield in Russia’s Novgorod region, causing a fire and damaging one warplane. Ukraine has not acknowledged the strike and rarely comments on attacks on Russian territory:

Ukrainian air recon destroys multiple Russian targets in Soledar
Aerial reconnaissance of the K-2 battalion detected a concentration of Russian vehicles, personnel, and fire equipment.
Ukrainian large-caliber artillery of 54 OMBr inflicted fire damage and destroyed a number of targets.
East of Kiev, a solitary Ukrainian tank kills a large Russian convoy.
INCREDIBLE drone footage shows the moment a massive Russian convoy was attacked by a single Ukrainian tank.
Footage captured by a Ukrainian military drone shows a Ukrainian tank carrying out an ambush on a Russian column as it moved through Nova Basan, east of Kyiv, which was recaptured by Ukrainian forces on April 1.
Much of the battle to retake the town took place on March 31 and involved members of the Dmytro Korchynsky Brotherhood Battalion, or the Bratstvo (Brotherhood) Battalion, which released this footage on Wednesday with Russian and Ukrainian flag images added over the vehicles. At least eight vehicles are marked Russian and just one is marked Ukrainian.
Following the attack, images of damaged and burned-out Russian vehicles littering the town were posted online by residents, photographers travelling with the Bratstvo Battalion, and by Ukrainian reporters who visited Nova Basan after the Russian withdrawal.
The Bratstvo Battalion was formed on February 24 by Dmytro Korchynsky, a fringe political figure and writer based in Kyiv. His Bratstvo political party has been described as an ultranationalist Orthodox Christian organization, according to a profile published by The Intercept in 2015. In a video announcing the formation of the battalion, Korchynsky said it was accepting recruits “to participate in the defense of Ukraine.”
Travelling with Bratstvo Battalion was Oleksiy Seredyuk, an activist running Korchynsky’s online media arm, World Bratstvo TV, and who was documenting the battalion’s activities.
On March 31, Seredyuk posted a video of troops being welcomed by residents of Nova Basan as they entered the town on foot. Walking alongside Seredyuk in that video, and several others he has posted on social media during the conflict, was Vita Zavirukha, an ultranationalist female soldier known in Ukraine for her high-profile involvement in neo-Nazi groups.
Zavirukha gained notoriety in 2016 she was tried for involvement in the killing of three police officers.

NATO Weapons Stockpile Seized by Russia in Ukraine
NATO member countries have pledged to deliver extra weaponry to support Ukraine in its struggle against the Russian incursion. The US leads in furnishing military aid, with the UK and the European Union also contributing significantly. Various nations across the globe have supplied military gear to bolster Ukraine's arsenal. Regrettably, a portion of these weapons has been seized by the Russian forces. This, therefore, unintentionally puts the Western backers of Ukraine indirectly furnishing military equipment to Russia. This situation arises as an increasing number of armored vehicles and weapons, initially given to the Kyiv government by the US and its partner nations, are being taken by Moscow forces. So, what NATO specific military equipment has been captured by Russia?

Moldova: In the shadow of Putin’s war | Documentary
The people of Moldova have been living in fear since the Russian attack on the Ukraine. Their nation could be next on Moscow’s list. Russian politicians and propagandists issue outright threats, even including the prospect of an invasion.
It’s a danger also recognized by Maia Sandu, the country’s pro-European President: "We’re seeing military activities close to the borders of the Republic of Moldova. This is a dramatic situation for our neighbors. For us, it’s extremely threatening."
The concern is justified. Since 1992, Moscow has controlled the breakaway region of Transnistria in eastern Moldova and stationed troops there. The situation in Moldova was recently exacerbated when Vladimir Putin revoked a decree guaranteeing the nation’s sovereignty. The Moldovan government stepped down on 10 February; three days later, Maia Sandu announced the emergence of specific Russian plans to destabilize Moldova, including acts of sabotage and violence including attacks on government offices and hostage-taking.
Moldova is also living in the shadow of the war. More than a year ago, shortly after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, many Moldovans prepared to leave their country: "We were afraid, we had our cases packed and ready," says Elena Cernei, who lives close the Ukrainian border. More than 600,000 Ukrainian refugees arrived in the Republic of Moldova last year, gas and electricity prices exploded, inflation rose to more than 30 per cent - immense challenges for the poorest nation in Europe with a population of just 2.6 million. Entrepreneur Anatolie Dicusar is struggling to keep his business going; he’s turned his factory into a clothing warehouse for refugees. The blogger and musician Vova Karmanov stopped making music; instead, he films reportages about the conflicts in post-Soviet regions. President Maia Sandu fights tirelessly for democracy and freedom. Moldova attained official EU candidate status on 24 June 2022.
But society is increasingly split over the war in Ukraine thanks to Russian propaganda. This film by Irene Langemann charts the personal fates of protagonists as well as the societal and political developments in the Republic of Moldova since the start of the all-out Russian war on Ukraine - and seeks answers to the question: Will the country survive this ordeal?

How Ukraine's Naval Drones are suppressing Russian Navy
Ukraine is pushing the boundaries of naval technology, stepping up its game in the realm of naval drones to safeguard its interests in the Black Sea. This strategy is a countermeasure against potential Russian aggression, offering real-time intelligence, surveillance, and heightened offensive capabilities. A prime example of Ukraine's advancements is the MAGURA V5. This maritime drone, showcased at the prestigious International Defense Industry Fair in Istanbul, boasts an 18-foot hydrodynamic hull with a width of 4.9 feet, specifically designed to ensure optimal stealth and maneuverability in challenging maritime environments.
But Ukraine's innovation doesn't stop there. Introducing the Toloka TLK-150, a cutting-edge underwater unmanned vehicle (UUV). This remarkable drone operates just beneath the water's surface, revealing only a minimal part of its periscope-like communications mast, making detection and interception by adversaries an intricate challenge. The brainchild of BRAVE1, the Ukrainian government's defense technology coordination platform, this UUV is currently in its prototype phase. However, expectations are high, with production set to commence soon.
Disclaimer: The video contains footage of various naval drones, some of which are included for illustrative purposes only, to help viewers better visualize the concept. Not all drones shown are directly associated with the discussed Ukrainian models. Viewer discretion is advised in drawing direct associations.
