John Kay-Forgotten Songs And Unsung Heroes (1972) [Complete LP]
One Of Our Deleted Albums Series
John Kay was the front man, lead singer, guitarist in Steppenwolf. He released this solo album in 1972 on ABC Dunhill Records, catalogue number DSX-50120.
It has since been deleted from the ABC Dunhill catalogue although it has been re-released on a reissue label.
It is definitely not like a Steppenwolf album. It is mainly acoustic tracks featuring John Kay compositions and covers of songs John Kay liked.
Audio here taken from a 1970's Canadian pressing of the original ABC Dunhill Records vinyl LP.
Track List:
1. Many A Mile 0:00
2. Walk Beside Me 4:29
3. You Win Again (cover of Hank Williams original) 9:44
4. To Be Alive 13:47

Buckingham Nicks (1973) [Complete LP]
One Of Our Deleted Albums Series
Buckingham Nicks was released on Anthem Records in 1973 by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.
This was the album which brought Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks to the attention of Fleetwood Mac and resulted in Buckingham and Nicks joining Fleetwood Mac and making their debut with Fleetwood Mac on the 1975 release, Fleetwood Mac.
This album featured the original recording of Crystal, which was re-recorded for the Fleetwood Mac album in 1975.
This is a first rate album but, for some reason, it has been out of print for decades.
The vinyl LP I took this audio from is a 1975 Canadian pressing on Quality Records (catalog number SV 1926), released after the Fleetwood Mac album had catapulted Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks to fame.
Album credits:

Rusty Warren - Songs For Sinners (1959) [Complete LP]
One Of Our Deleted Albums Series
Rusty Warren (1930-2021) is largely forgotten today but in the late 1950's and early 1960's she was one of the highest paid nightclub performers in the US.
She released this album in 1959 on the Jubilee label of Jay-Gee Records, catalogue number JGM 2024. It has been deleted for decades but has recently been released on a British re-issue label called Jasmine Records: https://www.amazon.com/Songs-Sinners-Knockers-RUSTY-WARREN/dp/B07NN4G18C/ref=sr_1_2?crid=9EWK285VBE9P and https://jasmine-records.co.uk/en/easy-listening/3180-rusty-warren--songs-for-sinners--knockers-up.html
I have not heard the Jasmine Records reissue of this album but I have other Jasmine Records releases and they are all good quality.

Carla Olson & Mick Taylor - Too Hot For Snakes (2006) [Complete 2 CD Set]
One Of Our Deleted Albums Series
Carla Olson is one of those musicians whose talents deserve far more recognition than she has achieved. The music business can be unfair.
Carla Olson released this 2CD collaboration with former Rolling Stones and John Mayall lead guitarist Mick Taylor in 2008. It is an excellent album but it seems to have been deleted from the catalogs so I'm posting it on the channel.
Carla Olson is an artist I highly recommend. Her catalog is well worth checking out. Here is a link to her website: http://www.carlaolson.com/home.html
Mick Taylor is an excellent guitar player whose catalog is worth checking out. Here is a link to his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/micktaylorof...

Bob Seger - Back In 72 (1973) [Complete Vinyl LP]
One Of Our Deleted Albums Series
Bob Seger released three albums between 1972-1974 which are relatively unknown and hard to find, which is surprising given Bob Seger's very successful career later in the 1970's. Back In 72 is one of those three albums. The other two are Seven and Smokin' O.P.'s, which I have also uploaded to this channel..
Back In 72 was originally released in 1973 on Reprise Records, catalogue number MS 2126, and, although it had some modest commercial success, it was/is nowhere near as well known as Bob Seger's post 1974 albums with the Silver Bullet Band.
Despite Bob Seger's very successful career with the Silver Bullet Band after 1974, Back In 72 remained a relatively unknown album and became increasingly difficult to find.
It was deleted from the Reprise Records catalogue by the 1980's and was later re-released on CD by Capitol Records in 1993 before being deleted again a few years later.
This audio was taken from a 1973-74 Canadian pressing of the original Reprise Records vinyl LP which I bought after I first heard this album in 1974.
As far as I am aware, Back In 72 is currently unavailable on CD or vinyl except as second hand copies of the original 1970's LP's and the 1990's re-issued CD's. https://www.amazon.com/Back-72-bob-se...

Robert Gordon With Link Wray (1977) [Complete CD Reissue]
Two Of My Recommended Albums
In December 2019 I uploaded Link Wray's now deleted and unavailable 1979 album Bullshot to the channel. It has received several comments from listeners asking for more Link Wray material. As requested, here are some more Link Wray recordings.
In the late 1970's and early 1980's there was a rockabilly revival. Robert Gordon was one of the best vocalists to come out of that rockabilly revival period but, unfortunately, he never received the recognition or commercial success his vocal talents deserved.
In 1977 Robert Gordon recorded two albums with Link Wray: Robert Gordon With Link Wray and Fresh Fish Special. Both were originally released on RCA Records but are featured here on this Ace Records CD reissue from 1997. I'll upload the original 1977 RCA Records vinyl in future.
The album tracks are mostly covers of 1950's rockabilly material. The other musicians backing Robert Gordon and Link Wray on these recordings were members of Bob Dylan's touring band at the time.
This CD is still available. If you want to buy it here is a link: https://www.amazon.com/Robert-Gordon-...

Hudson Ford - Nickelodeon (1973) [Complete LP]
One Of Our Deleted Albums Series
Richard Hudson and John Ford spent a few years in Strawbs before going out on their own as Hudson Ford in 1973.
This was the first of four Hudson Ford albums released between 1973 and 1977. The first three Hudson Form albums were released on A&M Records; Nickelodeon was released on A&M Records in 1973 under catalogue number SP-3616.
Nickelodeon has since been deleted from the A&M catalogue although it is available on a re-issue label as part of a compilation of the first three Hudson Ford albums.
The audio here was taken from a 1973-74 Canadian pressing of the original vinyl LP.
Hudson and Ford later went on to record two albums as The Monks. I have posted one album by the Monks and I will post another in the near future.
