Mighty Joe Young is a 1998 Disney adventure movie starring Charlize Theron and Bill Paxton. It was a box office dud but still a pretty good remake of the 1949 Harryhausen classic. The movie feels like The Lost World, George of the Jungle, Tarzan and several other contemporary late 90s animal films from it’s day and is forgotten but definitely worth your time. #Movies #Underrated #Classic

Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla was originally going to feature monster designs called Astrogodzilla and Crystal Godzilla. These unused creatures from Toho sound awesome and the kaiju could be repurposed into future movies or shows from either Legendary’s Monsterverse or even the Reiwa era. Jurassic World underused the Mosasaurus but another underwater reptile would’ve been perfect for Dominion. Camp Cretaceous introduced the Nothosaurus to the canon and this animal would be awesome in a live action movie! The Triassic creature looks like a water raptor monster that writes it’s own scary scenes by itself. #JurassicPark #Dinosaurs #Monsters

This gruesome deleted scene from Shin Godzilla features monstrous looking blobs that fell off of the mutated creature in the film. While unused I think they make for a really cool horror feeling scene that adds to the scariness of this version of Gojira. Anaconda is a 1997 giant-snake monster movie directed by Luis Llova. It stars Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube and Jon Voight in a movie that was competing with The Lost World: Jurassic Park in the 90’s. Legendary Beast Wolf Man vs Godzilla is a 1983 unfinished movie that was made from a lot of the people responsible for the later Showa movies. Species is a 1995 science fiction horror movie directed by Roger Donaldson. It stars Natasha Henstridge as a half woman half alien hybrid monster that hunts down men in what is a pretty fun 90s scary movie. The Heisei Godzilla series is a fan favorite from Toho that featured the return of Gojira in a direct sequel continuity that abandoned every Showa movie after the 1954 original, updated the classic monsters, made some darker storylines and was simply awesome! This is the ultimate version of the Kaiju in my opinion and Destroyah, Spacegodzilla, Battra and Mecha-King Ghidorah were all great enemies. Therizinosaurus is the most underrated dinosaur in the Jurassic Park movies in my opinion because it was one of the scariest herbivores we’ve ever seen yet terribly underused in the movie. This terrifying scene where Claire first sees it is great and reminds me of the Isla Sorna, Site B stuff from The Lost World. Hurricane Clarissa was an event in the Jurassic Park movies in 1995 that was sort of a prequel to The Lost World. This is where the dinosaurs on Isla Sorna were set loose and everyone evacuated the island.
