Almost Lost Images and Audio

Lots of traffic of all types - cars, trucks, jeeps, bikes, motorcycles, driving up and down Daytona Beach in Florida, sometime in the 1970s. Taken on silent 8mm home movie film.

Not sure about the location.....but this is a 16mm silent home movie film taken probably in the 1930s, judging from the cars and clothing seen, of the circus coming to town. Unfortunately, there are no scenes of the circus acts, and I haven't been able to identify the circus company.....but it was a BIG show, judging by the size of the tents and the crowd.

Taken from silent 16mm home movie film.....Scenes of the SS Keno, one of the last operable paddlewheel cargo and passenger boats on the rivers of the Pacific Northwest, and a look at Dawson City, Canada, where the retired Keno is currently on static display. As she was retired in 1951, this film obviously dates to before that, but it is difficult to tell by just how much it does.

Digitized and reversed from the original 16mm negative movie film, here are scenes of Bob Hope and his USO troupe arriving in Europe and doing a small USO show, probably in 1946 or 47......that's quite a car they've got to tour him around in.
