The Destruction of Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem by the Babylonian army is recorded differently in Scripture when compared to Jewish history. In spite of the difference, the date given in Scripture lines up with Tisha B'Av this year when looking at the Zadokite Sabbath Calendar! This week overlaps the end of Month IV with beginning Month V on the Zadokite Sabbath Calendar. We find 2 historical events where each occurred on the 1st day of Month V.
