If you want to see all the things I do or say on a real engagement photo session with a real couple and not posing models, this is it! I wish I was able to be a fly on the wall back when I was learning wedding photography and wondering how to pose couples for an engagement session or wedding day photography. It's not so much about the pose as it is about the interaction and movement, which hopefully you'll see a lot of. This is a huge question I get asked constantly; how to light indoor photos for groups of people. When shooting natural light photography, there's a bit of talk about if you should exposure for highlights or shadows, in fact, I get this question alllllll the time. Which is better when you don't want to blow out highlights and get an even, natural exposure for natural light portraits?
