I discuss the work of HP Lovecraft and the games of From Software and how they relate to each other, primarily how games like Bloodborne and Elden Ring specifically are directly inspired by, and are interactive adaptations of the Lovecraftian Cthulhu Mythos. It's my hope that I can convince a few more gamers to read more of HP Lovecraft's work and convince more bookworms to check out some of From Software's infamously difficult but infinitely rewarding games.
