We boat out to the island of Tonowas from Weno by boat. Our boat driver is Sammy Walter. He brings his son for the front Stick Boy to watch for rocks and things. It's a bit choppy, but a nice day for boating with sunshine and a few clouds.

Daughter LySandra comes to Guam to visit us while we are serving in the Micronesia Guam Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

We take a boat ride from Weno out to Romanum in the Chuuk Lagoon to check on a missionary apartment that has been vacant for two years. We are greeted with fresh sweet coconuts to drink. While we are there, Dorina Gacayan gives us a short tour to show us where the LDS meeting house is, then stops by her home with an amazing view of the lagoon. We also see the groundbreaking beginnings of the new meeting house that has been started to be built. After checking everything, we head back to Weno with our boat driver Siramino Walter.

August first we flew in and we were taken to the Blue Lagoon Resort for a two week quarantine. The 15th we got out and we then were taken to the L5 Hotel for our 5 day reservation while we repaired an apartment we could stay in. The rest of the month we checked out other LDS missionary apartments to see what they needed before other missionaries could stay in them along with writing Guam Newsroom articles and visiting the Church Branches here in the island of Weno, Chuuk, FSM.

August 1st 2022 Joseph & I fly to Weno, Chuuk in the Federated States of Micronesia. When we arrive we are taken to the Blue Lagoon Hotel for a 14 day quarantine.

The Barrigada Guam Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hosts the first ever 'For the Strength of Youth' Conference in Guam. First ever 'For the Strength of Youth' in Guam hosted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints of the Barrigada Guam Stake directed by Stake Pres. and Sister Nicerio held at the Pacific Islands Club in Guam. Asia North Area President Wada and his wife came to Guam from Japan to speak along with his counselor Elder McCune and his wife, who also came to Guam from Japan. Elder William Davis from Guam also spoke. Ching Batimana was DJ and ran all the music and it's equipment and sound system for the dances. 2022-05-18 DISID Receives LDS Wheelchair Donation. The LDS Church donates 324 wheelchairs. The donation ceremony was held at the Guam Governors Complex with Gov. officials and the DISID directors. A recipient of a wheelchair received his at the ceremony.

2022-05-13 'Islands Open House'. The Yigo Guam Temple had an open house. The Federated States of Micronesia's borders are closed so they could not attend. So the open house was taken to them in the way of poster board photos and building materials glued to a board that can be seen and touched.
