15 Dog Breeds That Can Defeat Wolves
15 Dog Breeds That Can Defeat Wolves
Finding a dog that can stand up to a wolf, is not an easy task. There are many breeds that can probably challenge a wolf, but can they really kill a wolf on their own? If so, what breed do you think has a chance in a fight against a wolf? Do you think an Alabai is strong enough to defeat a wolf? What about a Presario Canario? If you want to find out, stick around as we count down 15 dog breeds that can defeat wolves.
Kangal
The Kangal Dog is considered the national breed of Turkey's Kangal area. Originally, the Kangal was bred to guard animals. It has a thick, pale tan or sable coat and a black mask, like an early mastiff. The breed is frequently referred to as a sheepdog, but there is a distinction to be noted in terms of its duty as a flock protector who lives with the flock to actively fend against wolves, bears, and jackals, rather than as a herding dog. Because of its protectiveness, loyalty, and tenderness with tiny children and animals, the Kangal Dog is becoming increasingly popular as a family guardian, as it treats people as its "flock" and guards them with zeal.
You can see the Kangal in action against this wolf and it handles itself quite well. I would say the Kangal has the upper “paw” in this one. In our next video, when this group of kangas attacks this wolf, the wolf has no chance and is pulled from all sides by the dogs. This next clip shows a group of kangas chases a lone wolf and they kill the wolf. Of course, they outnumber the wolf, so it does make things easier, but this dog is powerful, nonetheless.
Rotweiller
Rottweilers were originally developed to drive cattle to market. Later, they were employed to pull butcher carts. They were among the first police dogs, and they also served honorably in the war. They are, above all, well-liked family caretakers and companions. A Rottie is a lifelong friend who is kind, loyal, and intelligent! The ideal Rottweiler is calm, confident, and fearless, but never timid. He exudes a confident aloofness, and he does not make friends with just anyone. He prefers to wait and see when it comes to new people or situations.
He is quite attached to his family and frequently accompanies them around the house. I don’t think a rottweiler can take on a wolf one-on-one, but a few rottweilers can probably give a wolf a good challenge and even take it down. Wolves are wild animals and rottweilers have long been domesticated, so it does make a difference in a fight to the death.

15 Wild Animal Attacks Caught On Video
15 Wild Animal Attacks Caught On Video
The law of the jungle is survival of the fittest. If you’re not fit, you probably won’t last long. It's everyone for himself and as long as you roam in the bush, you need to watch your back, or else you could end up being served for Sunday dinner. Have you ever seen a pack of wild dogs take on a buffalo? What about a leopard take on a warthog? If you’re into exciting animal battles, stay tuned as we count down 15 wild animal attacks caught on video.
Wild Dogs Vs Warthogs
Warthogs are tough animals, and they have razor-sharp tusks, but one warthog alone against a pack of wild dogs isn’t going to cut it. In our first clip, these wild dogs come to the entrance of a warthogs’ den uninvited and snap at the warthog from all sides. The warthog doesn’t even have time to blink, and it’s already being prepped for dinner. The dogs show no pity as they devour the warthog. Our next clip isn’t for the faint of heart. These wild dogs tear to pieces a young warthog. A few adult warthogs are in the area, but they don’t seem to want to get involved.
The poor warthog was still trying to get away with half of its body missing. This next clip shows a warthog being confronted by a pack of wild dogs. It knows this and it’s not sticking around so it starts to run, but the dogs chase it. The warthog digs a trench and goes in defense mode, but even that may not be enough to fend off the attack. Wild dogs are known for being some of the best hunters in Africa, but they also don’t seem to care if their prey is still alive while they’re eating it. You can see them eating this warthog alive in this footage. In our next video, this warthog thinks it’s safe by remaining in the water, but the wild dogs don’t really care as they drag it out for a quick lunch.
Panther Vs Jaguar
A black panther is a large cat of any species, but most typically a jaguar or a leopard with all black fur. This name is thought to have come from the Latin word Panthera, which means "large cat," and was likely abbreviated from Black Panthera to Black Panther. It's a leopard if you see a black panther in Africa or Asia and a jaguar if it’s found in North, Central, and South America.
In our first clip, these black panthers are playing around with these Jaguars in a friendly manner until another black cat approaches a leopard who doesn’t seem happy to see it and you can hear the warning growls between the two felines. In our next clip, you can see these two playing with one another and enjoying each other’s company. They’re both relatively young, so it would surprise me if they became aggressive. Finally, our next culprits meet in a tree. I don’t know if they’re being friendly to each other, or if one of them is telling the other to take a hike. Whatever is it, it’s a beautiful sighting.

15 Amazing Wild Animal Attacks Caught On Camera
15 Amazing Wild Animal Attacks Caught On Camera
In the wild, there are many crazy encounters that occur that one could never imagine. It could be the amazing caracal leaping 12 feet into the air to catch a bird or a Maasai warrior hunting a lion. Whatever it is, you must stay tuned as we count down 15 amazing wild animal attacks caught on camera.
Elephants Vs Lion
Elephants are rarely attacked by lions unless they are malnourished, and even then, there is a significant risk. This elephant is in serious difficulty in this video, with full pride of lions biting and climbing on its back. Where is the herd when you need it? The elephant makes its way towards the water, possibly thinking the lions will abandon the hunt once it’s out in the water. What a strong beast, capable of carrying these lions while they continuously bite it. The lions flee when the elephant enters the water, but the elephant suddenly emerges from the water, which is strange.
It should just stay there, which is exactly what it does in the end. Watch how this mother fends off a pride of lions to protect her baby calf. The lions insist, but the mother doesn’t allow them to get close. However, the elephant doesn’t always win when it fights a pride of lions and this footage of a pride overpowering an elephant is proof. Lion pride is very successful during night attacks like in this clip where they attack a large elephant. It takes hours for lions to bring down an elephant this big.
Snow Leopard Vs Yak
Snow leopards are opportunistic predators who occasionally prey on livestock such as sheep, goats, horses, or young yaks, particularly stragglers left in pastures. Snow leopards have been observed to penetrate a corral and kill many animals in some regions. But Yaks are no walk in the park, and you can see this snow leopard target a baby yak because the adults are much too big. Even when the snow leopard has the baby by the neck, the mother charges the snow leopard to let go. It’s not easy, but after a few seconds, the snow leopard has had enough and runs away. In this next clip, a snow leopard approaches alone yak calf using its incredible concealment.
He's desperate for a kill, and the odds don't get any better than this. But just when it appears everything is going the leopard’s way, the calf's mother appears, ready to fight. Finally, in our last clip, someone comes to this yak’s rescue by scaring off this snow leopard. The Yak was a full-grown adult, and the snow leopard was going to get its breakfast had it not been for the human’s intervention.

15 Times Wild Crocodile Attacks Caught On Camera
15 Times Wild Crocodile Attacks Caught On Camera
Crocodiles and alligators are extremely dangerous, more specifically when animals cross rivers and directly enter their territory. Most times, it is not to the animal’s advantage. How much of a chance do you think a wildebeest has of escaping a croc’s grasp? What about a baboon? If you’re curious and you want to see some exceptional footage, stick around, as we countdown 15 times crocodile and alligator attacks were caught on camera.
Crocodile Vs Zebra
Although the crocodiles along the Mara River are known for their enormous size, they can still bite off more than they can chew! These crocs went into a feeding frenzy after capturing a young zebra and began devouring it. One of the larger crocs ended up with most of the unfortunate zebra but was unable to swallow it! I feel like that when I go to the grocery store on an empty stomach. I buy so much food and it just stays in the fridge. At least this croc had a few friends who didn’t mind helping it out. This next scene has a bunch of zebras trying to get a drink of water when a crocodile suddenly jumps out of the water and snatches one of them.
What is going on with this world when you can’t even get a drink of water without being murdered? The zebra desperately tries to get out of the croc’s grip, but it’s not an easy feat to accomplish. I always wonder what is so important for any animal to have to cross a river infested with crocodiles. What’s on the other side that makes these zebras want to risk their lives? Sometimes zebras get lucky and will even have the audacity to walk all over crocodiles just to get out of the water, like the young zebra in this clip. In this next clip, this zebra must be hurt because this crocodile is approaching, and the zebra barely tries to getaway.
The crocodile doesn’t even try hard to grab it. What’s going on over here? This next sequence shows us a zebra barely getting away from a crocodile, but the zebra is cut and begins to bleed. The injury is not that bad, and hopefully, it will heal. Zebras will fight with all their might when their lives are threatened and their perseverance pays off, just like this zebra whose nose is being a bit off by a crocodile, but still manages to get away. Some are not that lucky, like this zebra being served for lunch at this crocodile spa.
Crocodile Vs Elephant
Elephants are not ideal candidates to take on when it’s time to eat, but sometimes, you don’t get to choose your lunch and that doesn’t exclude crocodiles. They take whatever is available, even if it means risking their own lives. Watch as a mother elephant drinks from a river, and has no idea the risk that lurks just underneath the surface. A ten-foot crocodile tries to clamp its jaws around the elephant's trunk. As the crocodile strikes and the mother fights back, the young elephants stand helpless. More elephants drinking when a crocodile strikes a young calf with all its family around.
This calf was probably celebrating a birthday or something and the crocodile had to go and ruin it all. I wonder if the crocodile has any idea how big elephants are and if they decide to walk all over it, they could pretty much crush it into the ground. This time, a huge elephant is inside the water when a crocodile grabs its trunk. I guess the crocodiles know the elephant’s weakness and their size because they always seem to go for the trunk. The elephants’ body is way too massive for the crocodile to do any real damage.

15 Animals Attack Caught On Camera While Cycling
15 Animals Attack Caught On Camera While Cycling
Cycling can be hazardous to your health if you don’t follow street regulations or if you don’t pay attention to where you’re going. But what if you meet a strange creature along the way? What do you do then? Like, say, for instance, you meet a Buffalo. That’s right, you heard! If you want to see some wild cycling adventures, stick around as we count down 15 animal incidents caught on camera while cycling.
Giraffe
You have to be somewhere kind of dangerous to come across a Giraffe when you’re cycling. The giraffe is not the problem, but when giraffes are around, it usually means other types of scary animals are not too far away. Come to think of it, looking at this giraffe approach this cyclist, I think I would be crapping in my pants if that was me. This is a large animal, and if it decides it doesn’t like you, you could be in trouble. Of course, it’s not as scary as meeting a big cat or a hyena, but you still need to be careful, even though it looks like the giraffe just wants to get a whiff of the cyclist. It is really sniffing this guy and the guy is as still as a corpse. I would be too for that matter for the fear of becoming a real corpse. Meanwhile, his friend is filming him with a big smile on her face. How convenient when it’s not you the giraffe is sniffing. The sniffing is over, and the giraffe has no more interest in the cyclist and he can finally get back to breathing normally. Giraffes are peaceful animals, but when this cyclist walks around the giraffe holding her bike, the giraffe must be wondering what she’s doing and if it’s some type of weapon. People have to use their brains. Seriously!
Goats & Ram
Goats, rams, sheep, they’re all nuts and if they see something they can bang their heads into, they will. This first goat rams into this cyclist for no apparent reason and it’s going at it hard, almost knocking the bike over. What are their heads made of? This cyclist has a camera on his back and is cycling some dirt road in a mountain when two rams come from behind and smash into him. That’s all we know ladies and gentlemen. In our next clip, Rambro, an angry ram smashes into this guy on a small motorbike and chases him for some more fun. The camera is actually on the ram’s back as you can see in this clip, so you can see it from this nutjobs perspective as well. Rambro runs fast and never stops ramming into people as long as they keep coming. No wonder they called it Rambo!

15 Times Land Animals Messed With The Wrong Opponent #2
15 Times Land Animals Messed With The Wrong Opponent #2
Sometimes, an animal thinks it can overpower another just based on sheer size. Whatever the reason, many times certain predators are in for a surprise when they decide to hunt certain prey. What do you think happens when a toad swallows a beetle? What happens to a dog who confronts a lion? If you want to see it all, keep watching as we countdown 15 land animals that messed with the wrong opponent part 2
Spider Vs Wasp
When you hear of a tarantula hawk, or the red spider wasp, the first thing that comes to mind is it’s a hawk that eats tarantulas. Wrong! It is a spider wasp that hunts tarantulas. Tarantulas have earned a deadly reputation as a predator capable of killing mice, lizards and small birds. But the spiders run in fear of the tarantula hawk or spider wasp. The wasp preys on its namesake, engaging in a ferocious battle that leads to the spider being paralyzed with a highly painful sting. Once stung, the tarantula becomes paralyzed within seconds. The condition will last for the rest of its life.
The wasp then drags the sleeping spider–which can be up to eight times its weight–to a burrow, lays an egg into the spider's still-alive abdomen, which serves as a "host" for the young. The young wasp devours the tarantula to develop into an adult, eating the non-essential organs first to keep it alive for as long as possible. These wasps have not only worked out how to successfully attack a predatory spider, but also to reserve the best meals for their most valuable offspring. The wasps can decide the sex of their baby by choosing whether to fertilize the egg. Fertilized eggs, produce females while males come from unfertilized eggs. The sting has been described as beyond imagination. It only lasts about 2 to 3 minutes, but it is unsurpassed in intensity by any other stinging insect.
Stag Vs Bison
The European bison is Europe's heaviest wild land animal, and individual bison may have been significantly larger in the past than modern bison. Bison were hunted to extinction in the wild throughout the early twentieth century. The red deer is a large deer, standing bold and tall. With its huge antlers, it is an unmistakable symbol of the Scottish Highlands, but it may also be found in northwest and southern England. This male red deer wants to challenge this European bison and the bison is ready to go. The bison has the size advantage, but the red dear is weaponized with these huge antlers. A clash would be interesting and I’m not sure who would come out on top.
After running around in circles for a few seconds, the red deer finally decides to lower its head and clash with the bison, but it’s barely a hit. In this next clip, the bellowing sound of the Red Deer fills the fresh evening air. As autumn approaches, Red Deer Bulls begin to battle and attempt to amass a big herd of Red Deer cows with which to mate; the rutting season has begun. The Deer Bull challenges this European bison, bringing this adrenaline-fueled phase of battling for dominance ahead. It’s interesting to see that even though the red deer is much smaller than the bison, it can hold its own against the massive beast. The antlers help of course and I’m wondering if the bison feels any pain.

25 Biggest Creatures Ever Captured !
25 Biggest Creatures Ever Captured !
Everyone likes big! The bigger it is, the better! People are impressed by things that are bigger than the norm, especially when it concerns animals. Have you ever seen the biggest swan in the world? What about the biggest spider? If you’re into big things, it’s time to keep your eyes wide open and watch as we count down 25 big animals that will leave you bedazzled.
DOG
Great Danes are known for being tall and massive dogs and Zeus the great Dane was famous for being named the “world’s tallest dog” by the Guinness book of world records. Zeus stretched 7 feet and 5 inches and was 3 feet 8 inches from his foot to his withers. Now, that’s a very tall dog, but watching the footage of this Dane, it’s sad to see how extremely frail and skinny he was. A big dog like that needs to be fed raw wholesome food, or else it will fall apart and that’s exactly what happened after only six years. Many people will say it’s normal for a Dane to die young, but I had a Dane that lived to be 14 years old.
SNAKE
This is the moment a massive 33-feet-long anaconda was discovered on a building site in Brazil
by horrified workers. Workers discovered the massive reptile, which weighed in at a whopping
900 pounds, after performing a controlled explosion at the Cave of Altamira in the northern state
of Para. Look at how monstrous this snake looks in this footage. I think it’s either pregnant or
digesting its last meal. I’ve never seen a snake this thick. In this next clip, could this beast of a
snake be the Titanoboa? This snake was estimated by hikers and natives to be over 50 feet long.
How nuts is that?

15 Unbelievable Elephant Attacks & Interactions Caught On Camera!
Elephants are amazing creatures. They’re smart, friendly, and have amazing memories. They are not violent animals, but if they become upset for one reason or other, you better get out of the way. Have you ever seen an elephant cuddle? What about one eating a watermelon? If you want to see elephants doing unusual things, stick around as we count down 15 unbelievable elephant attacks and interactions caught on camera.
A Man Calls An Elephant
If you think your dog is smart when you call for him because he comes running to you without hesitation, watch this man call out these elephants and see them galloping towards him at full speed. It’s all good as long as they don’t decide to hug the man because he will be crushed like a tomato. These elephants are like his dogs and whenever he calls them, they respond and immediately come running to him. That’s quite a crew of bodyguards he’s picked out for himself. One of the elephants even kisses him with its trunk. How cute is that?
Who said elephants don’t like to be in the spotlight? Watch this elephant approach the mic so he could be interviewed. In our next video, this massive elephant with huge tusks seems to be telling its owner he wants to go somewhere. The owner gives the elephant a few friendly taps on the body and walks in the direction the elephant pointed to. Finally, the relationship between this man and his elephant is amazing. They play hide-and-seek and the elephant follows the man everywhere he goes, even when the man climbs a tree, the elephant tries to climb the tree to be with him. If that’s not true friendship, I don’t know what is.
Elephant Vs Humans
In Africa, humans, and elephants co-evolved from earlier species. Humans have always coexisted with these incredible creatures, and we have a lot in common with them. The young of both elephants and humans require a long time to mature. Both have extensive social networks and both like playing games. Check out these young men tease this elephant by sneaking up on it and slapping it in the butt. I mean, if there’s one but you can’t miss, it’s an elephant’s. The elephant acts like a teenager, upset, and turns around to see who slapped its butt. When the elephant has had enough, it even kicks out its hind leg and turns around to chase the man who scrams out of there.
In our next clip, this elephant wants a snack and asks this shop owner for something. When he refuses, the elephant removes parts of the roof of the shop and the man tries fending off the elephant with a long stick. The elephant walks away, but not before causing a lot of damage. Finally, this elephant is taunted by these young men, and they sort of move away from the elephant, probably because they sense it’s going to do something crazy. The kids are pulling on some type of rope and yelling at the elephant when the elephant picks up a bunch of branches with its trunk and throws the branches at the kids who avoid being hit by reacting quickly.

15 Animals That Could Defeat A Crocodile
15 Animals That Could Defeat A Crocodile
Crocodiles and alligators are apex predators not many animals enjoy crossing their paths. However, there are a handful of animals that can give them a run for their money. How do you think a hippo would fair against one of these mighty reptilians? What about an electric eel? If you want to see some animals bring it to these two powerful creatures, sit and watch as we count down 15 animals that could defeat crocodiles or alligators.
Jaguar
A fully matured jaguar may capture any crocodilian, regardless of species, such as the Nile or Orinoco croc, or any other Cayman, including the black Cayman, if their head fits in its mouth and it can crush their skull with a single lethal bite. In our first video, this jaguar seems like it's full-grown and it just carries this crocodile out of the water as if it was a stuffed animal. This jaguar is so powerful and massive and let’s not forget it attacked the crocodile in its territory, which was a big disadvantage for the Jaguar. Of course, it was an ambush, and the crocodile wasn’t expecting it, but the odds were still high that the Jaguar would not succeed because it was in the water.
In this next clip, this jaguar grabs onto a caiman and suffocates it before it takes it to its hideout. It doesn’t look like the caiman had much of a chance. In Brazil’s Pantanal wetlands, this jaguar sneaks up on this lone caiman from behind and ambushes it successfully. The caiman didn’t even have time to say “hi” and the Jaguar was already in the water choking it. You can see the jaguar swimming to a small patch of sand in the middle of the lake and just grab the caiman in a flash. Even though the caiman nodded its head from left to right, obviously letting the Jaguar know it wasn’t interested in being lunch, the Jaguar went ahead, nonetheless.
Python
Pythons can subdue enormous prey by encircling it with their muscular bodies and suffocating it. The task of eliminating a huge, aggressive predator like a freshwater crocodile is just half completed. The other half is eating it! In this first clip, this python is looking for trouble, approaching a crocodile protecting its eggs. It goes in headfirst and the crocodile snaps on its head without hesitation, but two young men intervene and move the python away. They try to grab the crocodile, but it keeps slipping away from them. In our next sequence, this python comes face to face with an alligator and it almost looks like they’re going to kiss.
The python even slithers over the alligator’s face, but the alligator remains immobilized and almost looks dead. Nothing happens and the alligator leaves. I guess they both didn’t feel like engaging! Our next clip is the real deal. This python is eating this alligator alive. You can see the alligator trying to escape, but it looks like it’s not going to happen. This is one big powerful snake, but it’s not an easy kill, because the alligator almost gets out of the hold and out of the python’s mouth. From what I was told, this battle lasted 5 hours and the python ended up being successful.

15 Biggest Snakes Ever Discovered
15 Biggest Snakes Ever Discovered
Snakes, no matter how large, are feared by most people. However, there are a few snake species that can reach enormous sizes. The longest of them, pythons, can reach lengths much beyond George Washington's 21-foot nose on Mount Rushmore, with some examples reaching 33 feet, or nearly as long as a telephone pole. How big do you think a Boa Constrictor is? Have you ever heard of the amethystine python? If you want to see monster snakes it’s time, because we are counting down the 15 biggest snakes ever discovered.
Yellow Anaconda
The yellow anaconda is smaller than the green anaconda, but it's still a big snake, measuring between 10.8 – 14.4 ft. Females are considerably larger than males, reaching a maximum length of 15.1 feet. They typically weigh 55 to 77 pounds, though animals weighing more than 121 pounds have been seen when food is plentiful. To aid in concealment, they have a base hue of yellow that ranges from golden to greenish, with markings of black or dark brown in random splotches. Because the snake is semi-aquatic, its face is distinct from that of other species, resembling that of a frog.
To make hunting along the covered banks of slow-running rivers easier, their eyes and nostrils are centered more on the top of their heads. In wetland areas, the yellow anaconda forages primarily in shallow water. Predation is most common between June and November when the floods have abated, and wading birds are the most prevalent prey. They are generalist feeders who use both ambush predation and wide-foraging methods, according to observations and study of the gut and waste contents from regularly flooded regions in the Pantanal region of southwestern Brazil.
Black Mamba
The black mamba is Africa's longest venomous snake and the world's second-longest. The longest mamba ever recorded was 14.6 feet, however, they are most usually 8 to 10 feet long. In terms of nastiness, the black mamba has several advantages. It hunts both on the ground and in trees, so being stuck in the eye is always a possibility. Its venom contains a cocktail of neurotoxins that can cause severe symptoms in as little as 10 minutes and be lethal in as little as 20 minutes. It's a sprinter, capable of speeds of up to 12 miles per hour.
It's a nervous snake that becomes aggressive when threatened. It is commonly regarded as the world's deadliest snake because of these factors. Despite this, many sources claim it's a shy snake that will avoid you until it feels threatened. Personally, I am not convinced. If you don't believe it is threatened, but the snake decides it is, guesses whose opinion is more important.

15 Animals That Asked People for Help#3
15 Animals That Asked People for Help#3
Sometimes animals get in trouble and no one is around to help them. What happens when a squirrel is thirsty and there is no water around? Who will be courageous enough to save a lion that falls into a ditch? If you want to see exceptional rescues, stick around, as we count down 15 times animals asked for help Part 3.
Shark
It’s not often sharks will need help because they’re usually the ones you need the help against. However, in our first clip, Kayakers in the waters off South Africa's eastern coast caught a tiger shark's fortunate escape from a net on video. The big mammal became entangled in a shark net because it was attracted by the decomposing carcass of a humpback whale. The whale's carcass can be seen floating nearby. In this next video, this man literally picks up this stranded shark and puts it back into the water. Now that’s what I call helping out a shark.
This next sequence shows a couple of divers in Sydney’s Botany Bay who find a shark with a big lure attached to its mouth. The divers were able to extract the lure from the shark's mouth after two attempts and some shark wrestling. The hook was still there, but it was intended to dissolve with time. This next fish being saved is far from being a shark, but it does have a semblance of a dorsal fin on its back. The fish had some type of parasite inside its body and it was removed by this fisherman. When the fish was put back into the pail, it was full of energy.
Birds
Crows can outsmart most domestic pets and this crow is the perfect example. Watch how it tells these people it is thirsty and wants a drink of their water by pushing their water bottle constantly until they do something about it. The man takes the bottle and removes the cap filling it with water to see what the crow will do next. This crow was extremely thirsty and as soon as the man put the cap filled with water under its nose, it began to drink. After a few sips of water, the crow feels better and takes off. Our next clip shows a raven perched on a fence for over an hour, squawking.
A lady went to check out the raven up close and noticed it had four porcupine quills that had pierced its body, three on the side of its face and one on its wing. The lady tried to help by removing the quills, but the raven, although it stayed there, was slightly apprehensive about the whole thing. She offered the raven flowers, but that didn’t seem to work. In the end, we were told, the lady managed to remove some of the quills. Our next clip is the perfect example of why water is the source of life. This desert bird seems extenuated and dried up, but as soon as this man drops water on it, it gets up and almost seems as if it has resurrected. You can see in its eyes how alive it is after drinking the water.

15 Real-Life Animal Heroes That Really Exist
15 Real-Life Animal Heroes That Really Exist
Everyone is fascinated by superheroes because they can do what most people can’t. In the animal world, there are no superheroes, but certain animals deserve that title because of their acts of kindness. Could you imagine pigs being helpful? What about a bull? If you want to see some special acts of kindness performed by animals, you’re at the right place, because we are counting down 15 real-life animal heroes that actually exist.
Bull
Bulls are unpredictable and aggressive, and they can seriously injure or kill their handlers or bystanders. Not this bull! This bull is the nicest bull on the planet. In the Indian city of Jaipur, a macaque rides on the back of this bull. It's a common sight, and locals believe they were a human couple in a previous life and have now reincarnated in this form, their eternal love binding them together. In this next clip, another bull is giving a monkey a ride. Are these bulls running a cheap transport company because it definitely looks that way?
If you think dogs are the only animals that will protect their owners, think again. This man plays pretend with another man to see how his cow reacts and the cow always comes to its master’s rescue. This is a beautiful cow with amazing horns. What a majestic-looking animal. It’s amazing how caring these animals are. It just goes to show that an animal knows when its owner takes care of it and is ready to do anything to defend it.
Tiger Saves Owner
It’s rare to see all sorts of different big cats live together in harmony. I mean, lions and tigers don’t even live in the same country, but at this animal sanctuary, all these big cats which include lions, leopards, and tigers seem to get along. Just watch them as they relax and play around and even this leopard joins the fun. It almost looked like the leopard was coming in for an attack when the tiger jumped in its way, but that’s typical cat behavior.
The leopard was only coming to join the fun. In this next clip, this leopard is having a friendly fight with its owner at this animal sanctuary, but “Tony the Tiger” comes and checks things out to make sure its owner is fine. The tiger gives the owner a few moments of tenderness, love, and care and licks his head a few times before walking away after confirming with him everything is in order.

15 Times A Prey Fights Back And Defeats A Predator
We often feel bad when a cute antelope is being chased by a big cat, or when a zebra is trying to escape an apex predator’s grip, but sometimes the roles are reversed and what looks like a “walk in the park” for the predator suddenly turns into a nightmare. If you’re interested in seeing some underdogs teach some nasty animals a lesson or two, then keep watching as we countdown 15 times a prey fights back and defeats a predator.

The Oryx is a large antelope that lives in herds on the deserts and dry plains of Africa. The Gemsbok is also a large antelope in the genus oryx but lives in regions of Southern Africa. Both animals are remarkably similar, and both have deadly horns that can kill the most dangerous predators. In our first clip, these two young cheetahs have discovered an injured Gemsbok that may have escaped from a lion. What a day this Gemsbok is having. First a lion and now two cheetahs. The cheetahs approach the oryx, but this is one big animal and perhaps even their mother would have a hard time dealing with such a massive beast. Let’s not forget cheetahs are not very big and they usually hunt smaller antelopes. The cheetahs consider the task at hand and after a few minutes of reflection, they decide the risk is too big and walk away. Instead, they decide to chase the herd and they end up catching a calf. But the young cheetahs did not expect the calf’s mother to jump into the action and attack them, but that’s exactly what she does. The cheetahs are stunned and run away. The calf seems okay, but its mother checks upon it to make sure. She smells the calf under its belly and immediately runs after the cheetahs.
Our next clip shows a pair of lions checking out this oryx. The oryx doesn’t seem at all impressed with the lions because it's just standing there. There are now four lions and the oryx isn’t even trying to run. Is there something I’m missing here? It’s like the lions are setting up the barbecue but none of them want to get the meat out of the fridge. Finally, in this last clip, two female lions are preparing an attack on an oryx. Oryx are spooked by the slightest sound, so the lions must be very quiet. One lion makes a mistake and breaks cover. They still go for it, with one lion pushing the oryx towards the other lion. The oryx stands its ground and confronts the lions. The lions give up and the oryx lives to see another day.
Buffalo Flicks Lion Into The Air
The Cape Buffalo is a fearsome beast, capable of tossing a lion into the air like a stuffed toy. A hungry lion got even more than it bargained for after its attack on a Cape buffalo took a dramatic turn in an impressive viral video recently captured in South Africa's Kruger National Park. One lion pounced on the buffalo and appeared to be seconds away from a fresh kill after two young lions had been stalking the buffalo prior to the attack. The buffalo appeared to be exhausted, and the game appeared to be over. Then two of the original herd returned to investigate when one buffalo made a daring rescue, charging at the lion and flipping the predator high into the air with its strong head horns. Surprisingly, all the animals managed to survive the fight relatively unscathed, with the exception of the two felines' egos. The Cape Buffalo, despite its short stature, can weigh up to a ton. Buffalo herds have been known to work together to protect other members, killing predators, in Africa's parks and reserves.
The sheer power of these creatures astounds me, particularly watching the bull throw the Lion around like an inflatable doll. In the next video, another buffalo effortlessly tosses a lion into the air. It’s a small cub this time and I’m sure when this cub grows up, it will think twice before attacking another buffalo. Our next sequence has a buffalo chase a lion and throws it in the air. I’m pretty sure the lion must have felt some pain since the buffalo’s horn stabbed it in the belly. Indeed, the lion walks away hurt and limping. Finally, a courageous lion approaches an entire herd of buffalo and the buffalo are probably asking themselves if this lion is retarded. But the lion chases the buffalo and they all run away. The buffalo return and chase the lion while another lion looks on. One buffalo chases the lion away from the herd, isolating itself, and is now surrounded by four lions. The lions try to corner it, but the buffalo is quick to react. The herd rejoins the buffalo, and they all face the lions. It’s not happening for the lions today!

12 Times Otters Took It To Their Enemies
12 Times Otters Took It To Their Enemies
Many animals don’t fare well against otters. Even snakes and alligators consider them formidable opponents. They are true carnivores with strong jaws and big, curved canine teeth capable of snagging salmon. Sea otters also have retractable claws on their front paws, allowing them to maintain a razor-sharp edge. How well do you think coyotes match against otters? What about the Jaguar? It’s time to find out as we countdown 12 times otters took it to their enemies.
Otter Vs Caiman
One of the toughest animals in the Amazon jungle is the giant otter. They are constantly surrounded by black caimans, anacondas, jaguars, and pumas. In our first clip, two otters have six pups to protect and train in the ways of the jungle. This otter father has a lot on his plate when a caiman approaches the family looking for a meal. The two otters do not waste any time and surround the caiman, striking first before the caiman can cause any damage. The cubs panic and unintentionally follow their parents into battle, which is not a good thing. Now, the parents must continue fending off the caiman and worry about the pups being killed.
But the adult otters intensify the attack and prevent the caiman from escaping. The damage is done, and the caiman is history, but not without killing two of the cubs. This next clip shows an otter walking close to two caimans on the beach and just rolling over in the sand. This otter does not look one bit worried about the caimans. It is clear the caimans don’t want to mess with this otter. Our next clip shows a family of otters avoiding a caiman attack. It was a close call, but everyone is safe. Otters seem to manage very well when confronted with caimans.
Otter Vs Snake
These otters seem to be having fun with this snake. The snake slips from the otter’s grasp, but the otter snatches it up again in seconds. This looks more like activity at the park than a fight. Our next clip shows an alone otter "playing" with a dog-faced snake in a mangrove swamp. It is fascinating to watch the otter attempt to capture the snake in a cat and mouse game, but the otter does not bite the snake to kill it right away. It kind of just nibbles on it and lets it swim away momentarily. When the snake thinks it is getting away, the otter catches up to it and snatches it up again. It is kind of a cruel game if you ask me, but I guess that’s the way otters do it when they are tangling with snakes.
Occasionally, the otter submerges, looking for the snake, and eventually finds it and eats it. This next otter has a more formidable opponent to deal with. It looks like some type of python, possibly an anaconda, so the otter better is careful. The otter sees the snake and taunts it. The snake lays still as if it is analyzing the situation. The otter sticks its nose in for a whiff and the snake strikes but misses. The otter retreats into the water, which may not be a good idea, since these types of snakes are even more dangerous in the water. The otter decides the fight is not worth it and swims away. Smart decision by the otter.

15 Badass Ocean Creatures That Eat Land Animals
15 Badass Ocean Creatures That Eat Land Animals
There are many dangerous predators swimming in the world’s oceans, rivers and lakes and we don’t worry about them that much, unless we’re in a boat somewhere. Well, think again. Believe it or not, some of these predators are capable of hunting on land. Have you ever heard of the killifish? What about the European Wells Catfish which has been known to eat pigeons? I don’t know about you, but I’m curious as hell to find out what are the 15 badass ocean creatures that eat land animals.
0rcas
Apex hunters, orcas are at the top of the food chain. Orcas are not hunted by any other predator except for humans. Watch this orca open its mouth and grab this bird. What did the bird expect? For the orca to say hi! Killer whales eat a variety of prey, including fish, seals, sea birds, and squid, among other things. They can also consume whales that are bigger than themselves, such as minke whales, and they are the only species that has been known to eat great white sharks.
Orcas capture prey using a variety of methods. They sometimes beach themselves to capture seals onshore, leaping from the water to the ground. Watch as this orca glides onto the shore and snatches a seal. It’s amazing how it can do this without worrying about getting stuck and not being able to get back into the water. It’s just nuts how easy it is for the orca to do this. It just boggles my mind how this other orca is practically on the beach killing this seal in this sequence. By the amount of blood in the water, we know the seal is injured, but why didn’t it try to walk onto the land where the orca couldn’t go? I have to say I’m really impressed by such huge animals demonstrating such skill.
European Wells Catfish
Nature has an uncanny ability to surprise us. We are often sent back to the drawing board as soon as we believe we have a clear picture of something. Many of these occurrences happen on Earth in the most unlikely of places. And, as the number of handheld cameras that can capture unusual footage in a matter of seconds grows, we are increasingly seeing that nature is not as predictable as we believe it is. In this video, a group of pigeons seems to be enjoying a nice weekend barbecue, but they have no clue an intruder is about to crash the party and not just any intruder. It’s the good catfish who is coming to make the guests part of his dinner. Pigeons are supposed to be smart, but I guess they had no clue, this cool cat was in the area. The ‘European Wels catfish‘ was first introduced in the 1980s by fishing enthusiasts searching for a new way to spice up their angling trips. It has since spread like wildfire through dry soil across southern Europe. However, “pigeon hunting” has only been found in Tarn.
Catfish are primitive aquatic animals, but their exceptional adaptability places them at the top of the food chain in many freshwater ecosystems. This predator has traditionally lived in the muddy and dark waters of its home, where it feeds on worms, crustaceans, mussels, and sometimes dead fish. Catfish can develop and mature more quickly as a result of their high protein diet, reaching lengths of over a meter when all is said and done. As a result, it’s not unusual for young water birds or other small animals to vanish in a splash into the depths of rivers and lakes. To get close enough to their prey, the Well’s catfish relies on stealth. Then it opens its enormous mouth near or under its victim. Since this draws water in, the target is unable to stop being drawn in alive and swallowed whole — not a pleasant way to go. This next clip shows you another catfish approaching the shoreline, hoping to munch on pigeons. It’s not always successful on the first try, but it eventually gets what it came for. It’s time to heat up the barbecue and have a “pigeon soufflé”.

Why LEOPARDS And BUFFALOES Are Afraid Of African Wild Dog
Why LEOPARDS And BUFFALOES Are Afraid Of African Wild Dog
There are many predators roaming the African savannah. Alone, a wild dog is not much of a threat for most prey, but wild dogs in a pack, hunting side by side are the best hunters of the jungle. What animals do you think fear wild dogs the most? Are wildebeest afraid of wild dogs, or does the mighty tiger become skittish in front of a pack of wild dogs?
Leopards & Cheetahs
Leopards are strong, stealthy, and crafty, but they hunt alone, with no one by their side. So, when a pack of wild dogs come into a Leopard’s territory, the leopard isn’t throwing a party. One on one, the leopard would destroy a wild dog, but when you have fifteen or twenty wild dogs biting at you, the perspective changes. These two wild dogs are harassing this leopard, but there’s a fence between them, so it’s all good. The next clip shows a few wild dogs scare off a leopard into a tree. In this next clip, three cheetahs are enjoying their meal with a few wild dogs looking on, hoping to get the leftovers. Imagine eating and constantly being watched.
How annoying must that be? The wild dogs annoy the cheetahs to the point of forcing them to abandon their kill. The wild dogs are smart. They seem to prefer harassing a predator that already has killed, so they can just rip off the food from it. Of course, they probably wouldn’t try this with lions, but with the smaller cheetah or even the leopard, anything can happen. Wild dogs communicate and are very strategic when it’s time to surround a prey or steal a kill from another predator.
Honey Badgers
Everyone already knows how crazy Honey badgers are. They are simply not afraid of anything, so I don’t know how afraid they could be of a bunch of wild dogs. When three wild dogs prepare to attack alone honey badger, the honey badger does not back down. He confronts the assailants while simultaneously running for cover. He’s outnumbered and outsized, but he’s formidable and the wild dogs know this. In this next clip, two honey badgers are challenged by a few wild dogs. The dogs seem like they just want to play, but the badgers mean business.
The badgers charge the dogs and the dogs back off. They know the badgers have a solid bite, but still, the dogs don’t seem to be taking this too seriously because two of the dogs are just lying in the grass while the other two harass the badgers. The badgers finally stroll away, and the dogs look at one another asking themselves what just happened. Finally, two honey badgers smell young wild dog pups, but mama dog is there to protect its young. The badgers hiss at the dog, but nothing comes of it. The badgers are off on their merry way and for the dogs, it’s back to diapers and bottles.

15 Unbelievable Animals That Saved Other Animals
15 Unbelievable Animals That Saved Other Animals
In the wild, all animals are at risk. Some more than others, but if they don’t watch their back, their lives may very well be cut short. Sometimes they get lucky and another animal from another species, they’ve never seen before may lend a helping hand. Sometimes, the reason why is unknown.
Baboons Rescue Antelope
Baboons can become vicious when they are threatened and will gang up on predators to defend their territory, but what about when another animal is in trouble? Watch how this cheetah targets an antelope and see what happens next. After a quick run, the cheetah finally captures the antelope, but a group of baboons intervenes, and the cheetah abandons its prey. The baboons stand up to the cheetah who hisses at them, and they even chase it for a short distance scaring the cheetah off. The baboons even go check out the antelope to see if it's okay. The antelope seems injured, breathing on the ground, but eventually gets up and has difficulty walking among the baboons, but will live to see another day. Baboons gang up on a leopard this time and they chase it away. Baboons are fierce opponents, and they shouldn’t be messed with.
Bear Rescues Crow
Bears have been known to be nice. Watch what happens when this bear finds a crow drowning in a pond next to it. The bear notices the crow and reaches out to it with its paw as if to lift it out of the water. Maybe it is to eat it but let us watch and see before we jump to conclusions. The bear pulls the crow out of the water with its mouth clinging to one of the crow’s wings and just drops the crow on the ground before attending to its food. The crow looks a little out of it and tries getting back on its feet, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be easy. Eventually, the crow can get up and the bear still has its back turned away from the crow. Believe it or not, the bear actually saved the crow from drowning, because it had absolutely no interest in the crow afterward. What a great feat by this friendly and cuddly bear. This next clip shows a crow annoying a big polar bear who does not seem to mind the crow plucking at its fur. It finally feels something and turns around, notices the crow, but doesn’t really care.

15 Sea Monsters Attacking A Boat!
15 Sea Monsters Attacking A Boat!
If you like high-sea adventures and the danger that lurks in the oceans, then you will want to see what we have in store for you. Whether it’s a giant squid closing in on a surfer or a sperm whale ramming into a boat, you won’t want to miss this. Stick around if you want to see spectacular footage of 15 sea monsters attacking a boat.
Great White Shark
The great white shark is known for its aggressive behavior and our first clip shows a determined great white chewing on the sides of a boat. It kind of reminds me of a scene from the movie jaws. This shark is gigantic and the people in the boat look at it from up above, and I’m sure none of them want to go for a swim at the moment. In the next clip, a shark sneaks from behind and attacks the boat’s propeller at the back of boat. The propeller takes a good beating. Finally, in our last clip, from a bird’s eye view, we can see a monstrous great white shark approaching a small boat and going directly for the propellers at the back of the boat. The shark then gets tangled up in a rope of some kind and swims away from the boat slowly, too busy playing with the rope. Sharks are apex predators you want to stay away from, but many people like looking for trouble.
Stingray
The stingray is not a particularly aggressive fish, but if you go looking for it, it can cause some serious damage. In this clip, two people have caught a small stingray and when one man attempts to pick up the stingray by sliding his hand into the stingray's mouth, blood pours all over the place. It’s actually the stingray who stung the man’s leg with its barb and it’s the man’s leg that’s bleeding. I guess he learned his lesson not to mess with a stingray. Our next clip shows a seventy-five-pound stingray that struck a woman in the face killing her. When you look at this footage, it’s easy to understand why, because this stingray is huge. This reminds me of the fatal attack Steve “crocodile hunter” Irwin was a victim too, scuba diving in Australia’s great barrier reef when a stingray pierced Irwin in the chest with its barb. It’s always risky when you enter deep waters, even when you’re an expert.

15 Most Intelligent Animals Helping Their Owners
15 Most Intelligent Animals Helping Their Owners
Humans are supposed to be the most intelligent animals on planet earth, but when I look at the state of our planet, I really wonder if that is true. Maybe it is, but you would be surprised how many other animals are highly intelligent and it is not always the ones you expect. Did you know that crows are extremely intelligent and so are rats? I bet you did not know that. Who is the most intelligent animal on the planet?
Elephant
Elephants have always been considered highly intelligent animals. They have amazing memory and great communication skills. They are also self-aware and that is not the case with every animal. For instance, if you put a dog in front of a mirror, the dog will think it is another dog looking at him. Elephants are self-aware, and they are capable of empathy. When they tested elephants with the mirror test, the elephant looked at itself just like humans do. Elephants can also identify languages.
Another thing elephants can do very well is use tools such as sticks to scratch themselves in areas they can’t reach. I do that a lot when my back itches. Another amazing behavior an elephant display is the mourning of the dead. When one of theirs dies, they touch the bones with their trunk and they even try to bury the remains. They will stand hours near the dead body of another elephant but will not do so when animals of other species are dead. They can also mimic human voices. That does not mean they understand the meaning of the words, but one elephant was able to pronounce a few Korean words after having heard his trainer pronounce them.
Octopus
The Octopus has many weapons in its arsenal which includes changing colors, squirting out a nice dose of poison when need be, and exerting a force that is greater than their own body weight. Does that mean the octopus is a smart creature? They are smart in their own unique way which means they have been observed having to choose what to eat between clams and mussels and they chose the easiest one to open, which were the mussels.
It takes intelligence to figure that out. Octopuses play and when an animal plays it means he has at least half a brain. They also have personalities, and they will react to things in various ways which is proof of a certain kind of intelligence. By invertebrate standards, the octopus has a huge brain, but compared to vertebrates, it is tiny. So, in the end, the octopus is smart for an octopus but is it as smart as other animals. I will let you figure that one out for yourself.

15 Animal Battles That Give You Goosebumps
15 Animal Battles That Give You Goosebumps
The law of the jungle is killing or be killed, most of the time. It’s survival of the fittest. If you can’t hold your ground, you will not make it. All sorts of animals meet in the jungle and this sets up incredible battles. Some battles are quick and predictable, and others are long, arduous, and surprising. Have you ever seen a mongoose take on a snake? Or a shark fights an octopus?
Hippo Vs Wild Dogs
Hippos and wild dogs rarely meet in the wild, simply because hippos live mostly in the water and wild dogs are not crazy about water. But there are moments when their paths will cross especially if it involves prey. Watch this hippo charge a bunch of wild dogs trying to make a kill. Another hippo seems like he’s trying to save an impala from some wild dogs by delicately trying to grab the impala with its mouth, but the dogs are pulling their way. What’s amazing is that the hippos never seem to want to hurt the vegetarians.
Even twenty or thirty wild dogs, although they are expert hunters, could not damage a hippo. The hippo is so massive, and its skin is so thick, not one dog would dare approach the hippo close enough to bite it, afraid the hippo would sink its huge canines into its body. Wild dogs seem to meet hippos always in the same circumstances. Some herbivore is swimming in the water to stay away from the dogs and a hippo happens to be there. The hippo doesn’t attack the dogs, but it keeps them on their guard. In this last clip, a wild dog has actually jumped into the water to kill an impala and the hippo isn’t doing anything about it.
Giraffes Vs Lions
Lions will rarely attack giraffes because they know the amount of work and stamina that’s required to take down a full-grown giraffe. Sometimes, though, when food is scarce, they go after what’s available and lions have no choice but to hunt giraffes. As you can see in this first clip, this is no easy feat. Just watch this giraffe trample this lion repeatedly. One lion alone against one giraffe has no chance in hell. Even several lions will have a difficult time taking down a giraffe as you can see in this footage where the lions are getting kicked in the face more often than none.
If the lions are not capable of getting in close to the giraffe, then the risk of death for the lions is greater. With one kick, a lion can die on the spot. When the pride finally takes down a giraffe, it will fill their tummies for days, so it’s a great catch for the entire family, but it’s not an easy one. Just look at the strength of this giraffe. With one lion on its back and three of them biting at its legs, the giraffe remains stoic and takes on the challenge without making a sound.

If you’re a big fan of superhero movies, you are in for a treat. If you think the Avengers have superpowers, wait until you see what kind of superpowers these animals have. We have an insect who thinks he’s spiderman and another one who has night vision. And you won’t want to miss the lizard who walks on water or the beetle who can burst out bolts of lightning from his arse.
Bombardier Beetle Sprays Scorching Liquid
Bombardier beetles are like the skunks of the insect kingdom if skunks shot fiery acid at their enemies instead of just making them smell awful. And now, scientists know a bit more about how the bugs blast a chemical cocktail out of their rears without blowing themselves up. Many species of beetles secrete chemicals to ward off predators, but it turns out that bombardier beetles have a special chamber in their abdomens where they mix chemicals to produce an explosive reaction complete with gun smoke.
When the bug is threatened, it touches the match to the fuel, which then forces its way out of an exit channel in its rear end. In order to figure out why the bombardier beetles don’t just explode, the scientists used ultrafast x-ray imaging to capture the moment the beetles pulled the trigger. They discovered that the beetle’s defense acts less like a missile launcher and more like a machine gun, firing between 368 and 735 pulses per second. Not only does this extend the range of the blast, but it might just save the bombardier’s life.
Millipedes Using Hydrogen Cyanide
A newly discovered millipede has more color combinations than any other millipede ever discovered - but its bright and striking coloring is a warning that attempting to dine on the arthropod may be biting off more than one can chew. The multi-legged creature is called Apheloria polychrome. The species is found on the forest floor of Southwest Virginia’sCumberland Mountains, and its colorful carapace is coated with cyanide as a deterrent to predatory birds. This is actually a fairly common defense mechanism among millipedes, and various species have demonstrated the secretion of hydrogen cyanide and benzoyl cyanide when disturbed.
They also release a host of other chemicals, such as mandelonitrile benzoate and benzaldehyde, both for defensive purposes and perhaps as an antibiotic. How millipedes use their chemical weapons varies. Some passively ooze them from their glands, others roll up to squeeze them out, and others actively spray them at predators. Curiously, unlike most living creatures, millipedes themselves are immune to the effects of cyanide; they produce all their chemical weapons in their own bodies.

Animal Moms Saving Their Babies Caught On Camera
Animal Moms Saving Their Babies Caught On Camera

Mothers are very protective of their babies and that goes for mothers in the animal world too. When threatened a mother will do everything in its power to defend its young, even if the battle with the invader is almost impossible to win. Do you think a hen can protect her chicks from a vicious snake?
Chicken
Our first mother is a hen and watches how she defends her eggs from this mighty cobra. We’re not talking about any kind of snake here. This is a cobra, and the hen is protecting eggs that haven’t even hatched. The hen is sitting on her eggs, minding her own business when this cobra rises above her and for one second you think it’s all over for the hen, but as soon as the cobra begins to strike, the hen bites the cobra who retreats immediately.
The cobra attacks a second and third time, but the hen resists and stands her ground. In our next clip, again, a cobra sees a bunch of chicks but doesn’t expect mother hen to pull a kung-fu voodoo dance on it. She also guides her chicks as far away as possible from the snake which slowly slithers closer to the family, but the hen is relentless in her defense of the chicks and does not give the cobra one inch. It doesn’t look like lunch will be served today Mr. Cobra. I never thought chickens were so courageous, but I guess when it comes to protecting your family, nothing can scare a mother away.
Duck
Ducks are no different than chickens when it comes to protecting their young. Watch how this duck challenges a dog when it approaches it. Of course, the dog was probably trying to play with the duck, but the duck didn’t know that. Our next clip shows the same determination by the mother duck who doesn’t hesitate to lunge at the little dog approaching the flock. No matter what the size of the dog is, the duck will protect her chicks, just like with this German shepherd pup.
I like the way the chicks all stick together and run away together as mama duck protects them from harassing dogs. Watch how the duck in this clip challenges a much larger goose when the goose tries to chase the duck’s chicks. It’s not crazy about doing so, but she will not let her family be harmed. In this next clip, a puppy and a duck battle it out. Mind you, it’s only a pup, but a duck isn’t very big, so yes, it’s more of a playfight, but the duck isn’t backing down anytime soon. The duck even manages to pin the dog down for a count of three. Where’s the “ref” when you need him?

15 Strangest Things Recently Discovered In Brazil
Brazil is known for its famous Carnival, its sprawling beaches, and the incredible Amazon forest. However, their other things found in Brazil that will blow your mind! Are you sure you want to see what they are? Well, sit down and take a deep breath as we countdown the 15 strangest things recently discovered in Brazil.
THE BLUE LAKE GROTTO
Everyone knows that Brazil has some landscapes that take one’s breath away. However, few are so enchanting as the Blue Lake Grotto, in the Brazilian town of Bonito. This city, so famous for its rivers and waterfalls, hides away some caves that are practically unexplored. By way of example, the Blue Lake Grotto was only discovered in 1924 and only became a tourist destination in this last decade. Standing some 20 km from the center of Bonito, this grotto has been listed by the Brazilian Institute for Historical and Artistic Heritage in 1978. In 1992, a series of fossils of mammals that lived during the Pleistocene period some 10,000 years ago were discovered in this cavity. Among the species found here, there were remains of a saber-tooth tiger and also of a giant sloth.
Apart from that, another thing that calls attention is the sheer beauty of the stalagmites and stalactites that make up the inside of this grotto. The different sizes and shapes of the speleothems in their curious contours give away the age of the cave. It is estimated that this cave is about 10 million years old. The Blue Lake Grotto is one of the largest flooded cavities in the whole world. The exact depth of its waters is not known. The deepest that a diver has reached is 87 meters below the surface. It is believed that this grotto is fed by an underground river, as yet unknown. Despite the name, the waters of the Blue Lake Grotto are crystalline. The blue color is the result of the presence of minerals at the bottom of the lake and also of the incidence of the sun’s rays, and gets even more intense in December and January, especially before noon.
FLUORESCENT FROGS
An international team of researchers was studying the acoustic communications of certain miniature frogs. When they discovered that Brachycephalus ephippium could not hear its own mating calls, they searched for alternative visual signals the frogs could use to communicate instead. Unexpectedly, when they shone an ultra-violet lamp on the frogs, their backs and heads glowed intensely. The fluorescent patterns are only visible to the human eye under a UV lamp.
In nature, if they were visible to other animals, they could be used as intra-specific communication signals or as reinforcement of their aposematic coloration, warning potential predators of their toxicity. Pumpkin toadlets are tiny, brightly colored, and poisonous frogs that can be found in the Brazilian Atlantic forest. During the mating season, they can be seen by day walking around the forest and producing soft buzzing calls in search of a mate.

Dog Vs Lizard
I’m guessing dogs and lizards are not the best of friends and in this first video, we can see exactly why that is, as this dog circles this lizard trying to find a way to bite it. The lizard keeps his guard and swings his tail in the hopes of scaring off the dog, but the dog insists and wants to fight the lizard. Nothing much happens, except when the dog tries biting the lizard's tail. The lizard eventually heads for the taller grass where the dog slowly becomes less interested in the reptile. In our next video, the assailant is the lizard this time and it charges the dog on several occasions until they both go tumbling down the road after which the dog gets a firm grip on the lizard’s neck. The lizard manages to free itself, but it looks like it's injured.
A second dog joins the fight, and it looks to be the dog’s midget brother. The lizard fends them both off and it looks like it will be okay, for now. Next, this large lizard is surrounded by four dogs that bark a lot, but that’s about it. It seems like neither of the dogs has the guts to make the first move, so they just taunt the lizard and annoy it to the tilt. This next dog doesn’t waste any time and immediately bites this lizard in its mid-section repeatedly, to the point of cutting it. The lizard tries to fend off the attacks to the best of its abilities, but it looks like the dog has the ‘upper paw” in this one. Finally, these three dogs chase this monitor lizard, but they don’t accomplish much except for a little barking and running.
Bird Vs Praying Mantis
The Praying Mantis can be preyed upon by certain birds, but it’s never easy for a bird that tries to take on this murderous insect. Most people know how deadly the praying mantis is and I‘m thinking this little bird knows it too because as much as it flies back and forth, trying to find an angle to attack the killer insect, it never comes close enough for the mantis to deliver its fatal blow. In our next clip, this bird takes a few shots at the mantis, but the mantis stands its ground until a crazy lizard comes flying out of nowhere and attacks the mantis.
The bird realizes there is too much going on and decides to fly away. All the birds taking on the praying mantis hesitate and are not able to make the kill, just like this other bird, meddling around in mantis territory without accomplishing anything. However, this Northern Cardinal doesn’t waste any time and after a few pecks at this mantis, it snatches the mantis and flies home with its meal. I guess the mantis can’t win them all. Finally, another mantis bites the dust as this bird gives it a serious beating, but the mantis tries to resist no matter what.
