How to Build RC Airliner Boeing 737 Part 4
This is the final part of Boeing 737-300 building video series. In this episode I am going to share with you the rest of the build to finish this RC airliner which are, making dummy engines, motor mounting, install electronics like ESC, servo and pushrods, paint and decal and finally its maiden flight. At first the CG is wrong (12 cm) and almost crash, the correct CG is 17 cm from trailling edge. On this build I learned more about CG and the first time using that type of retract landing gear.

GA8 Airvan RC Plane - DIY Build and Fly
I redesign my old plans on this GA8 Airvan RC plane model. This new version has better performance on flight, more lift, more stable and easier to control. I made the airfoil thicker than the first version. This model is made out of 5 mm polyfoam or depron foam sheet. I choose FlyStark livery because I think that's the coolest Airvan color scheme on the net. This livery decal also shared along with the plans. If you enjoy my Cessna 172 model you will enjoy more, building and flying this model and it's easier to build and fly. It only needs 4 servos, there's no steering on the front landing gear, you can't turn on taxi but the rudder is enough to steer the plane when it's running for take off. The wing and wing struts are detachable for easier transport. I also include 2D pics for 2 pilots and 4 passengers to add realness of the model.

How to Build RC Airliner Boeing 737 Part 3
In this episode we'll making wing mounting, tail section and stabilizers. The tail section and stabilizers construction are pretty straight forward and all made out of foam sheet, no need for hard spars. Only the vertical stabilizer that needs a small plywood part. The plane so far is very light weight, just like I expected. The one that I have not expected is that, I thought the tail will be tilted downward because of its weight, but it isn't, so that's a good thing.

Scratch Built RC F-35 Lightning II EDF jet
This is my first model that is using EDF or Electric Ducted Fan. I choose the C variant of F-35 aircraft, mainly because it has bigger wing, I wanted to make sure that it will have enough wing area to fly. In this model I also share with you couple new things beside by using EDF alone. I share how to make a clear canopy and using servo driven retractable landing gear. The landing gear was bought from Banggood for about 10 dollars a long time ago. What I learned by using EDF is, it's pretty expensive if compare with pusher prop and will fly in a shorter time. I only have effectively 2,5 minutes to fly the jet, the rest is prepare for landing. You have to use 4S 2200mah with minimum 60C discharge rate, otherwise you will have a damaged battery after the first flight. Also EDF models need a decent paved and long runway. If you can access one, EDF jet is amazing.

How to Build RC Airliner Boeing 737 Part 2
In this episode on How to Make RC Airliner Boeing 737-300 part 2, I'm going to share with you on how to build the wing and install
the retractable landing gear to the wing and how to join the wing. In the beginning I also made a tutorial on how to build the belly wing fairing on the fuselage. I switch all wheels from original 45mm foam wheel to 70mm rubber wheel, to match the scale size of the real aircraft wheels. As I mentioned on part 1, I will make this aircraft model as light as possible so I made an unordinary joining system for the 2 pieces wings. The 2 wings just held together with U shape stainless wires on top of the wing and plastics and screws on the bottom side. The jointed wing, next on part 3 will be mounted with 4 screws to the fuselage, thus will make the wing stronger on the joint.

How to Build "Walet" - FPV RC Plane
I miss flying FPV but I don't have any plane for that. My last FPV plane, the Sky Arrow 1700mm is crashed and beyond any repair. So I made this RC plane that I named it "Walet". Walet is an Indonesian name for "Swallow", a small and agile bird. Actually I planned to make the wingspan 1300mm but I forgot to update the 3D model then it came out with 1400 plans. I think, what the heck, then I continue finishing the plans. Because it was surprisingly big, I released the smaller size plans, which is 1200mm. My Walet is already equipped with FPV setup now, but still manual, no flight controller and GPS yet. In this episode I share with you only how to build this plane, not the FPV setup. I hope I can cover about it on other episode.

How to Build RC Airliner Boeing 737 Part 1
There are many request for me to build an RC airliner. I once build a small Boeing 737-800 in the past, the wingspan only 1400 mm/55 inch with pusher prop. But I haven't made the build video tutorial of it and the plans for you to build. So here it is Boeing 737-300 with 1800mm/71 inch wingspan. I will still use pusher prop, this time I will use twin pusher props. No EDF yet, because I haven't use EDFs before, so I will not make this huge model to learn using it. I will make F-35 after part 2 of this Boeing 737 to learn how to use EDF. If it succeed, I will make other EDF airliner in the future.

How to Build PT-17 Stearman RC Biplane
This one is my most favorite RC plane I've ever build. The first one was 7 years ago. I already build this 5 times and this is the last version, now complete with plans and build instructions. All wings and strut are all detachable, no need for glue to mount the wings and struts, just screws. I also made a papercraft / paper model figure for the 2 pilots that also shared on the link below along with the RC plans. This RC biplane is capable of STOL, Short Take Off and Landing. With big 80mm foam wheel, it can take off and land on most rough field on grass or dirt making it fun to watch it take off and landing seamlessly. I recommend you to build this RC plane, it's worth to try and very fun to fly it.

Canadair CL-415 RC Plane Part 4 and Maiden Flight
Bombardier CL-415MP RC plane is finally finished, it's weight about 2200 grams or 4.8 pounds, but it can take off smoothly without using flaps. Also the landing can be done smoothly, with some adjustment. The front landing gear needs to be glued or bolt up to the fuselage. It's often came out of its slot and causing a bad landing. The aileron also needs bigger area to give sufficient control, I already revise the aileron size. The plane is a good flyer if you familiar with rudder control on turning. The hardest build on part 4 is building the wing tip floats, you need to watch the build video tutorial on youtube as well as build instructions with images in Paper Replika website. You can use differential thrust control or common control to fly the plane. The next build will be PT-17 Stearman.

Canadair CL-415 RC Plane Build Video Part 3
This episode is quite shorter than usual done, because it's coincide with family gathering on Christmas holiday this year. But I still try to update the build progress for this week. In this part 3, we will build the basic shape of the main wing, with 180 cm wingspan and 22 cm chord. The main wing can be dismantled into 3 pieces for easier transport. The most outer wings that will host the ailerons and pontoon are detachable. The main wing also detachable from its fuselage as well.

Canadair CL-415 RC Plane Build Video Part 1
In this episode we will build our project in series, which is Bombardier CL-415 with Maritim Malaysia color scheme. I designed this model plane to be able to take and land on water and on the ground as well.
Equipped with detach-able landing gears for cheap and easy building but still maintain the 2 functions. WIth no landing gear on board it will make the plane lighter and I hope it can take off easily from water. In this part 1 we will build the fuselage, fin and landing gears. Plans and decal can be downloaded on the link below. In this video I mentioned about pilot figure tutorial, but unfortunately I forgot to add it while on editing so it will be covered on the next episode.

How to Make Twin Motor ATR-72 600 RC Plane Part 4 and Maiden Flight
Before maiden flight, we need to finish the aircraft with few steps, like making a battery hatch door, maintenance hatch door, marking the CG position, attaching control horns and pushrods. Maiden flight was scheduled on last Saturday but failed because one of the ESC is different and causing different speed from each motor. It finally flew well on Monday and Tuesday after both ESC were replaced

How to Make Beginners RC Plane (3 Channel)
I have many request for releasing a simple RC plane plans for beginners, so I decided to designed one. This plane is designed specifically for beginners that still learn how to fly an RC plane and to familirized the orientation. Beginner tends to broke front propeller so I put the prop on the back. Beginners tend to have slow reflex after taking off so I made the wing with big amount of dihedral angle, about 8 degree. So the plane will autolevel by
itself. Taking off is also pretty easy just push the throttle it will take off by itself without touching elevator or rudder sticks. It also easy to build only uses 2 servos (3 channels) and very robust construction if it built right. It crashed on maiden but it can stand the test and survived.

How to make mini RC boat
For this project we'll leave the air for a while and hit the water. I made a mini RC boat with waste foam material, which is small styrofoam meal box waste. You can also buy the foam box very cheap or by using 2mm depron foam or XPS foam. I also wanted to experiment for using only servo for the electronics. Inside servo there are few part that are mini ESC and off course mini brushed motor. I use all that parts for thrusting a mini boat. I also experimenting with differential thrust setup and more common setup with single prop and a rudder. Actually the result is better to use common setup with single prop and a rudder, because differential thrust tend to brings more problems, like steering difficulty, broke shaft and drained to many battery ampere. You can choose which setup to suit you best or even improving it.

How to Make Piper Cherokee RC plane (DIY)
Piper Cherokee is a private and trainer plane. Made by Piper Aircraft. first flight in 1960. It still in production until now with variants Arrow, Archer and Warrior. This plane is very stable and easy for handling. I made an RC plane of it in semi scale model. I made its wing longer than the real one. The front wheel it's not steerable but don't worry you can still steer it on the ground with rudder.

How to Make F-4 Phantom DIY RC Plane (Build & Fly)
This model is the second release on the RC project category but the first one that I made a detailed video tutorial for it. In youtube video tutorial I use Bahasa Indonesia because my oral english is not fluent enough to transfer a clear information, even in Bahasa I'm not good too, talking is not my favorite activity actually (lol), but don't worry I already put English subtitle on it, make sure you turn the translation on (CC).
The reason I made an F-4 Phantom is because I saw it on youtube, a History Channel dogfight documentary. There are some episodes about this Phantom jet in vietnam war era. It looks so bad4ss especially the ones with NAVY color scheme, and in that time I was telling myself that I have to do this in RC model version. I model it in approx. 1:12 scale. I think it's not so hard to convert it into a papermodel later. I hope I have time, I sometimes wish that I can clone myself, so my clone can focus on papermodel and me on RC model. I need to try new frontier which is being a youtuber, I have to focus on it this time.
