A Response to the Debates with Dr. James Tour
Dr. James Tour has gotten some attention with his focus on origin of life research. As a chemist, he has presented some challenges to the idea that life could start with basic chemicals and evolve into living cells. Recently he has had an online debate and entered into dialog with researchers about their work in origin of life. Tour has claimed that there are significant chemical hurdles that must be overcome to even consider whether life could arise naturally.
In this video we approach the debates from a perspective of someone with experience in organizing categories of data and forming logical conclusions. We conclude that those challenging Tour are not in the same categories as his questions.
