In this video we start out with Port Charlotte & Punta Gorda and show how the area has rebuilt since Hurricane Charley in 2004. We also travel through North Port. On the coast we show 4 beaches on Manasota Key, starting with Manasota Key Beach, then Blind Pass Beach, then Chadwick Park at Englewood Beach, and Stumps Pass State Park. We travel through the Lemon Bay area show Don Pedro Island as we head down to Boca Grande and Gasparilla Island. A tour of the California Coast by Highway 101 and the Pacific Coast Highway. We start on Highway 101 at the Oregon Border and continue to Crescent City where it becomes the Redwood Highway. We then follow it through the Wine Country of Sonoma County and into San Francisco across the Golden Gate Bridge. Highway 101 becomes the Bayshore Freeway as we travel across the Silicon Valley to San Jose. We the move to the Pacific Coast Highway just south of Monterey and follow across the Bixby Creek Bridge through twisting, cliff hanging curves with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. At some point in the future we will do a full feature on Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. We titled this video "City in Waiting". After demolishing Jacksonville Landing, Jacksonville is alittle quiet. They have had a couple of developments fall through. After doing Tampa who is well into developing their waterfront areas, you feel alittle bit for the city of Jacksonville, there is certainly alittle bit of disappointment. I do believe however, good things are in the future for this growing southeastern city. Jaguars owner Shadid Khan, I believe will provide that spark to re-energize downtown. They are expected to begin construction in 2021 of a development along the waterfront that will connect the urban core to the sports and entertainment complex. I was alittle shocked that all they have planned for the site of the former Jacksonville landing is a urban park. However the downtown area has too much potentional with the St Johns River and I believe although maybe 5 or more years behind Tampa, it will soon become a popular tourist destination.

So many people especially in the east do no realize how beautiful this state is. We drove from Bozeman Mt to Idaho Falls mostly at night, this is a mistake, because it is an incredibly beautiful drive. We start with the Snake River in Idaho Falls in what is known as the Greenbelt, a system of trails with parks and waterfall in Idaho Falls https://www.idahofallsidaho.gov/. The spring is peak season to seee the falls at their best. Also. Check out also the Idaho Falls Zoo has lions, sloths, penguins, a petting zoo and more. The Snake River at 1,078 miles long starts in Western Wyoming running along southern Idaho, encompasses 6 US states, ends at the Columbia River in Washington. It was over this river near twin falls in 1974 that legendary daredevil, Evil Kanievel attempted to jump in a Rocket propelled cycle. His Craft technically made it across but the parachute deployed prematurely, blowing him back into the canyon short of the north rim.The Perrine Bridge Stretches 1500 feet across the Snake River. It opened in 1976. It is popular for base jumpers from around the world seeking the ultimate adrenaline rush. One of the only structures in the US where you can base jump without a permit.Now lets head to the High Country on route 55 a very scenic drive along the Payette River. The Payette River popular for Tubing & Rafters, is a 82 mile long river which originates at Salmon River Mountains at elevations of over 10,000 feet and feeds into the Snake River so provides so pretty decent rapids.McCall is a nice cozy resort town on the southern shore of Payette Lake. A great place to stay. They have a super 8, that is one of the better super 8s I've been too, pet friendly, we did a review video here if you would like to check it.The most scenic way into Cordalaneis to take Rt 3 to Rt 97 which runs along the east shore of Lake Cordalanethe Lake scenery with a variety of tall Pines, & Spruces, is just unbeatable.You know you are officially in the North West when you see sea planestied up on the docks. Coeurdalane isknown for its water sports and trails in the Canfield Mountains & Cordalen National forests.
