Jesus' Final Commandment
Jesus on the night he was betrayed by Judas, He gave his disciple his final commandment before going to die on the cross. The one last commandment is written in the book of John chapter 13 verses 33--35: 33 “My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come. “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Jesus was saying the world will recognize you as my follower by how you love and care for one another. Love should be the symbol of all Christian, it should be our badge to honor to Christ.

Spiritual Battle
Our battle is not against people. Ephesians 6:12 tell us: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Do you love your enemies?
Do you love your enemies? Jesus said that you should love your enemies in Matthew 5:43-45: “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
May you find peace as you forgive your enemies.

Jesus gives us the Lord's Prayer
Jesus gives us the Lord's Prayer. In Matthew 6:5 -13, Jesus points out two examples of incorrect ways to pray, and then gives the correct way to pray commonly known as "The Lord's Prayer." This prayer has been prayed for over 2000 years and is still being prayed all over the world. You can pray this prayer exactly as it is written or use it as a model to design your own prayer by following the foundation laid out by Jesus in Matthew 6. (See the link below to free PDf copy of the Lord's prayer)
Here is an example, using the acrostic "A.C.T.S" based on the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6. This will help us understand the Lord's Prayer as a model for prayer.
A = Adoration, this is where we worship God (Our Father who is in heaven hallowed be your name)
C = Confession, this is where we confess our sins and transgression (forgive our trespasses as we for those who trespass against us). By doing this we receive forgiven and our conscience is clear. This allows us to continue to pray without feeling condemned or guilty.
T = Thanksgiving, here we thank God for all of God's blessings and provisions.
S = Supplication/asking, we ask God to meet our daily physical and spiritual needs, food (our daily bread), shelter, and employment. Our spiritual needs (lead us not into temptation) and spiritual protection (deliver us from the evil one).
Bible Text: Matthew 6:5-13: 5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 “This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one
I pray this wonderful prayer will be part of your life each and every day.

Psalm 51 - A Psalm of Repentance
Psalm 51 was written by King David as a prayer of repentance, after Nathan the Prophet exposed the King's sin with Bathsheba the wife of Uriah the Hittite.
Bible Text: Psalm 51 KJV
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

Is the Lord returning to gather the church?
The Lord Jesus himself will come down, to gather his people to him. The rapture or gathering is spoke of in the New Testament letter written by the Apostle Paul's to the church of the Thessalonians.
Bible Text: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
I pray you are waiting for his return.

An Amazing Psalm of Blessing and Wisdom - Psalm 1
Psalm 1 is an amazing psalm of blessing and wisdom. It describe how a person who follow God's path will be blessed, "everything they do will prosper." And because he "delights in the law of the Lord he gains wisdom. In contrast to the wicked person, they are like wheat chaff that gets blown away by the wind and in the end they will perish for lack of wisdom.
Bible Text: Psalm 1 KJV
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
A blessing for you, “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’ Numbers 6:24-26

Psalm 93 - The Eternal Reign of the Lord
Psalm 93 describes the Eternal Reign of the Lord God almighty. Listen and read along to these beautiful words.
Bible Text: Psalm 93
1 The Lord is king! He is robed in majesty.
Indeed, the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength.
The world stands firm
and cannot be shaken.
2 Your throne, O Lord, has stood from time immemorial.
You yourself are from the everlasting past.
3 The floods have risen up, O Lord.
The floods have roared like thunder;
the floods have lifted their pounding waves.
4 But mightier than the violent raging of the seas,
mightier than the breakers on the shore—
the Lord above is mightier than these!
5 Your royal laws cannot be changed.
Your reign, O Lord, is holy forever and ever.
I pray that these words will bless your soul, heart and mind.

Is God's grace enough?
Is God's grace enough? The Apostle Paul tell what the Lord said to him about God's grace.
In 2 Corinthians 12:6-9 we see how Paul suffered from a tormenting spirit from Satan and how he pleaded with God three time to take it away. But God's response to Paul was "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” God's response change Paul attitude about his suffering. He realized that God's power was made perfect in his weakness. Meaning that he could overcome his tormentor through power of God's perfect grace. This change his complaining to boasting.
Bible Text: 2 Corinthians 12:6-9 6 Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say, 7 or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.
I pray that you will realize that God's grace is sufficient in your weakness.

Her faith in Jesus made her well.
This is the amazing story of how having faith in Jesus can heal you. The story is about a woman who suffered from a bleeding disease and how her faith in Jesus made her well. The bible tells us the detail of this wonderful story in Mark 5:24-34
"And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, “Who touched my clothes?” “You see the people crowding against you,” his disciples answered, “and yet you can ask, ‘Who touched me?’ ” But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”
I pray this story will bring you hope and build your faith in Jesus, our savior and healer.
