Pacific Coast Hunters

My friend and I decided to take a dive at a well-known location for people wanting to practice their diving skills.

Winter diving brings clear water and frigid diving conditions. We didn't see many fish out in the open - we had to really poke around those rocks to find what we were looking for. In the end, we came out with a few fish and more diving experience.

My buddy and I took to the water on our kayaks, exploring a few kelp beds. We came across some nice schools of rockfish and got to enjoy some very nice conditions.

For this trip, my friends and I took our kayaks out to a remote area typically inaccessible by shore. We shot some fish for the dinner table and enjoyed some decent dive conditions.

My friend and I took to the water to try our luck at a new dive site. The water visibility was around 15ft with a little haziness. Fish were everywhere and we took some shots at a few of them. All around good time.

We had a chance to dive the Carmel area for some rockfish and other types of fish. Conditions were relatively nice, with very clear water in the outer areas.

My friends and I managed to crack a few fish for the grill and enjoyed some gorgeous conditions. The is my first dive of the year and hoping to have more like this.

Matt and Alex join me for a spearfishing session over at Big Sur. Here, we got to experience some excellent conditions and bring home assorted fish for dinner.

My friend and I had a chance to hit the water, again, for some spearfishing. We enjoyed some nice clear water with some moderate swells and a ton gorgeous scenery. There was plenty of life to observe and some quality fish to take home - just a great time.

Dive conditions in California has been stellar these past couple months. My friend and I managed to shoot a nice collection of fish for Thanksgiving and got to enjoy the amazing dive conditions.

Another great dive session this past weekend, hunting for the usual critters. We all went home with heavy stringers and a great experience.

I'm still learning how to use a kayak properly... Give me time.
