The 2nd Annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza was held in Bishop on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

The Bishop High School Badgers were defeated by the Stafford Spartans at the Class 4A Regional Semifinals. FINAL: 74-46.

Last night, the Goliad Tigers defeated the Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions in overtime at the Regional Quarterfinals game. This ends an exciting season for the Lions basketball team. Final: 48-45.

The Bishop Lady Badgers defeated the Floresville Lady Tigers at the Regional Quarterfinals basketball game. In addition to the win, Lady Badger Logan Borchardt (Senior) was recognized after the game for hitting 2000 career points. Regional Quarterfinals 4A Reg. 3 & 4- FINAL: 69-45.

On Dec. 20, 2023, the Salvation Army Angel Tree program provided new clothing and toys to over 600 children.

With Christmas just a few days away, The Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program in Kleberg County has adopted over 600 children in need. The program aims to provide children with new clothes and a toy. However, over 50 children have not been adopted yet.
