The seven factors explored include the opportunity cost of renting a house versus buying one, mobility and flexibility as it pertains to home ownership, your financial readiness as it pertains to your ability to afford a mortgage, the down payment, and closing costs as well as the insurance and maintenance expenses that come with home ownership. Personal readiness is also explored and the state that a real estate market is in is a key factor. In this video I share how I saved my first $500,000 at age 25 starting from $0 and how you can accumulate wealth quickly and at a young age with the right principles as it pertains to see you then 15 to 50% of your income. Well it is recommended that 15% of income should be saved or invested to achieve financial freedom at a young age it will require as much as 50% of your income. In the event you are unable to save as much as you need to to be financially free, identify an additional income through sources such as starting a business, affiliate marketing, and leveraging the websites online to make money through e-commerce, other side hustles that have a low start up cost etc. In the end a budget must be used to achieve this. In this video I share how buying your daily coffee, lunch, vehicle, house, and miss-managing your time is keeping you poor and broke. The video will explain the real cost of your daily expenses or how you use time and compare it to investing in index bonds, mutual funds, Real estate, rental car business or how starting any business is more profitable. Very few people understand the real cost of their daily coffee, their time, the lunch that they take to work each day, their vehicle loan and their mortgage and how choosing to do something different would make them money and any of the financial freedom. Instead of buying your daily coffee you can invest the money in a diversified index fund at an 8% interest rate per annum and be able to retire with over $500,000 in only 40 years. Instead of using time to scroll on social media, you can do a work at home job that pays $12 per hour resulting in you achieving financial freedom as a millionaire in 20 years. Instead of buying lunch each day and investing the money into an index fund in 40 years you would be a millionaire. And instead of buying the vehicle and instead of investing the money into an index fund in only 30 years you would’ve accumulated $1 million and that invested in a mutual fund pays $5000 per month which is more than enough to sustain most peoples livelihood. In this video I share the top seven investments that I will personally make starting in 2022 to achieve financial freedom. The objective is to earn an ROI of US$7 million by age 65 and leverage compound interest to maximize my returns from all seven investments. I will then invest the amount accrued in a bond and live off the interest for the rest of my life. The seven primary investments that we will be making to achieve financial freedom include high quality dividends stocks such as Apple where we can leverage the increase in the stock price to make a return on our investment as well as benefits from dividend payments at the end of each year. I also evaluate the pros and cons of renting versus buying a house And use facts and figures to prove that buying a property is not always the best decision.
