The McGlone Code changes Ian Crossland's mind
One thing I appreciate about Ian is how willing he is to change his mind when a good point is brought up, like he did in this video.
On Aug. 31 (Thursday), Ian said, speaking about abortion "to think that you can ban something that's been happening for hundreds of thousands of years, what an insane proposition to ban it out right"
"There's no way to effectively ban it," he followed up.
Tim Pool read my comment out loud a few minutes later, and Ian said "I get your point" and "banning something can make it go away".
I want to clarify, I agree with something Tim said earlier, which is that banning a thing *doesn't* make it go away, but it does make it unlawful, and the law has two purposes: justice, and as a deterrent of further crime.
If we were to ban abortion, whether a single state did it, or if we protected the unborn federally under the 14th amendment, abortion would go way down.
Engaging in abortion would be considered murder, and it is up to each state how to deal with murderers.
