White-Breasted Nuthatch, up close and adorable.
Readily attracted to bird feeders for sunflower seeds or suet, the White-breasted Nuthatch may spend much of its time industriously carrying seeds away to hide them in crevices. Its nasal calls are typical and familiar sounds of winter mornings in deciduous woods over much of North America. FYI if you want to watch real time go to YouTube and search Live bird feeder from new Hampshire. Enjoy.

BUSTER? NOPE, THIS LITTLE GUY HASN'T FIGURED OUT HOW TO STEAL SEED.
Buster would have had a nice filling meal after raiding the bird feeders, but this little guy doesn't have a clue as to how to raid the squirrel proof bird feeders, at least he can get a refreshing drink.

Male Cardinal, LET ME SEE HOW MUCH SEED I CAN STUFF IN MY BEAK!!
This short video shows how ingenious a bird can be, he makes a little pile of seed after shucking them and then stuffs it all in his beak and flies away with his bounty!!! He is probably on his way to the nest where he will feed the hatchlings. The Male Cardinal will feed the hatchlings for up to 60 days or so.

Singing Blue Jay
This video is of a beautiful male Blue Jay calling to his partner, the female then shows up. The only way to tell a male Blue Jay from a female is by their sounds. While they have a variety of sounds that they can make, the male Blue Jay often makes a sound that is similar to a squeaky door, while the female Blue Jay frequently makes a low growl sound. These birds are fascinating to watch and I am happy to be able to share this video with you. Now that fall is around the corner, more and more birds are showing up at our 24 hour bird cam. We feed the birds and sometimes the squirrels year round. If you would like to visit our live bird cam, we are on YouTube under; Live Bird Feed From New Hampshire. Thank you for watching.

BUSTER HAS PROVEN, WHEN THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY!!!
Buster has found a way to steal seed from the supposedly squirrel proof bird feeder. He does get his share of seed on the ground every morning, but taking it from the bird feeder has become a game of challenge for him. He is very smart and so entertaining. BRAVO BUSTER!
