He was a friend from another tree service. He had been to school and had some experience, but he still had a lot to learn. I started showing him some knots and realized quickly that he was having trouble learning them from me, but I wasn't sure why. Then we figured it out: he was left-handed! I would show him a knot and then he would try tying it...backwards (to me at least). I was thinking about this the other day and then I realized, I could flip my videos around to show the 'Left Hand' version for all the southpaws out there.
