This is my sweetest girl. I have a few others almost as mellow as she is. For fellow chicken owners, if you have had chicks that came from your incubator (if you used one), do you feel there is a big difference compared to hatchery chicks, and chicks raised by a hen, in how receptive they are of you? How well you bond with them? It seems the hens, including my rooster, that I incubated are most comfortable with me. Hatchery chicks would be next. Hen-raised chicks barely feel comfortable with me but they are receptive of me enough to eat out of my hand when I give them treats. Please tell me about your experience in the comments.

I respect other peoples' MRE review videos and find them interesting. Especially those that feature historic examples and give some info on the evolution of the meals. I am attempting to show a little humor here and blend genres with respect to what my other videos feature (my pets). Flagstaff is a great walk for outdoor recreation, walking, hiking, biking, etc. Trip from 2012.

My two gardens have been producing good tomatoes this year but not much else. Fortunately, some of the pumpkin plants have kept going. Got one little pumpkin.

Three day trip, in April 2008, to visit Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, and Monument Valley. At the GC, hiked down Bright Angel Trail to Plateau Point and back up. Spent an afternoon at Zion the next day. Closed it out with a drive through Monument Valley.

After hiking a trail in Sedona the day before, and having some beers the night before, decided on a whim to go hike the Grand Canyon again with my buddy. We hiked down South Kaibab Trail, hung around for lunch near Phantom Ranch, and hiked back up the Bright Angel Trail. It was late July, 2011. Sun directly overhead. No clouds. No shade. Beyond brutal getting back to the top. Not many pix on the way back up. Too focused on taking the next step. Took plenty of water. Should have had more post-hike nutrients, etc. in my vehicle, but didn't. Horrible cramps, like getting electrocuted, all night. Had a Gatorade and passed out. Fell decent the next morning.

Late August 2020. Birds possibly headed south. Unusual amount on this day when usually there were not more than five regularly, daily.

Used to have a lot of hummingbirds near a place where I lived. Hoover, Alabama.
