Moms on a Mission Podcast hosts Pastor Jackson Lahmeyer to discuss the formation of Sheridan Church, its rich history, and his call to speak biblically based truths even when it’s controversial. Pastor Jackson shares about our Christian heritage and explains that even Benjamin Franklin, who was not a Christian, said that every public school in America should teach the Bible. Thomas Jefferson, as president, brought in the U.S. military band every Sunday in the newly built capitol building. He used tax funds to give to missionaries to evangelize the Native Americans. He teaches that “Separation of Church and State” does not mean the church stays out of the government and this must be looked at in context. He transitions to talk about the “Pastors for Trump” organization that he was asked to start, which has over 10,000 pastoral members. Today, Moms on a Mission hosts DJ Day in our studio as he shares how he was fired from his hardware store employment in Boston, Massachusetts for his conservative free speech and standing up to the radical left. DJ explains that God providentially directed him to Tulsa, Oklahoma to purchase Midtown Hardware. He goes on to tell us that Boston is the hub for the radical Marxists and more specifically, Somerville, Massachusetts. DJ went on to say that State Superintendent Ryan Walters, Senator Dana Prieto, and praying school board member, E’Lena Ashley, held a Press Conference and states that it was “terrifying” to him and notes that he is on “team reality”. Today, Oklahoma State Superintendent, Ryan Walters, joins Moms on Mission at Jackson Lahmeyer’s Ignite 2023 Conference to discuss the current condition of our state's schools. Superintendent Walters explains that he is leading the charge to eradicate CRT, gender theory, and all sorts of left wing indoctrination that has been injected into our school systems for a long time. Instead, he explains that we are going to focus on math, reading, writing, and non-revisionist history. He shares the exciting opportunity Oklahoma School Systems now enjoy by having access to Prager University in all schools across the state of Oklahoma. Superintendent Walters continues to say that his team will terminate the Confucius Institute program that is operating in the largest school district in Oklahoma, Tulsa Public Schools, and will end this communist indoctrination of our students. Today, Moms on a Mission Podcast welcomes Mark and Terri Stemann who experienced a nightmare that became their reality when the Child Welfare System of Kentucky used the Family Court System to take their seven children from them! They share that through research, they discovered that this nefarious system is being used around the world. Today, Moms on a Mission welcomes Dr. Stanley Goldfarb who started an organization called, “Do No Harm” in April of 2022 after he wrote an article in the Wall Street Journal called, “Take Two Aspirin and Call Me By My Pronouns”. He shares that medical education was starting to take a turn at that point and he was seeing more and more focus around the country on social issues rather than on producing the best physicians who have the most knowledge about caring for sick people which is the role of physicians. He continues to say that he was noticing that the effort was made to create more of a diverse medical school class and there was sacrifice to the merit of the students in favor of making sure their skin color was of a great variety when they took a class picture. After the article, he wrote a book with the same title expounding on these very ideas. He explains that he later felt that he needed to do more so he started an organization called, “Do No Harm”, which has been successful in producing lawsuits against people risking the quality of American medicine and producing discriminatory activities. “Do No Harm” has helped get laws passed in 20 states regarding “gender affirming care” along with “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” activities in several states. Dr. Goldfarb has been canceled because of his activities and when you go to the University of Pennsylvania website, his name is gone even though his name is on the books as an Emeritus Professor of Medicine and was the co-director of the Kidney Division. Coach Joe Kennedy, marine veteran turned football coach at Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Washington, returns to Moms on a Mission with an update since he returned back to a football position with the Bremerton Knights. Coach Kennedy shares what transpired after he won the U.S. Supreme Court lawsuit and how the school had to offer him a position and welcome him back for spring football. He was kept busy with certifications and “red tape” for the week but still decided to come back for the fall football season. Today, we welcome mom of 10 children, Teena Horlacher, who shares how God ordained for her to have 10 kids AND homeschool them, now, as a single mom.
