The Duke and Duchess have been to New York many times since moving to America. They've attended various award ceremonies, speeches at the United Nations, and charity events. When I look back at their previous trips to New York, it's amazing that we were never able to find out where they stayed. On any of these trips, we never saw photos of the Sussexes leaving or entering a hotel. For a time, there was a rumor that they lived in a highly secured United Nations housing facility for visiting diplomats. I believe this rumor half way. I believe the NY media and paparazzi are also really angry that they don't yet know where the Sussexes live when they come to town. The pap chase is partly a power game and punishment. The media doesn't even know where the Sussexes have stayed. They're now running with the line "the Sussexes are too cheap to spend money on a hotel." Sources have revealed that Harry and Meghan's "nearly catastrophic car chase" was caused by their inability to pay for an hotel. The couple demanded a discount at the Carlyle, Princess Diana's favourite hotel in New York City. Sources in law enforcement claim that the Carlyle's bosses refused to give the couple the generous discount. Instead, the pair stayed with a friend on the Upper East Side. When the paparazzi started following them from the Ziegfeld theatre on Tuesday night -- in what the spokesperson for the company claimed was "a relentless pursuit lasting more than two hours" -- they didn't want the photographers to follow them back to the friend's house and reveal where the pair were staying. According to a New York City police source, Page Six reported: "They would have been better off getting a hotel just for everyone's safety." They were instead cheap and wanted to stay for free. From Page Six What's the deal with NYPD officials openly dissing the Sussexes. It's a strange vibe. This is a common, nonsensical, talking point. Harry and Meghan have become incredibly wealthy by "selling out" to the Windsors, but they're always at the brink of bankruptcy because they are so unsuccessful. I don't believe that the Sussexes requested a large discount for their stay in a hotel, because... they didn't stay in hotels during their numerous visits to New York. One would think that a hotel is less secure (too many exits and entrances, too many people entering and leaving, and less control by their security staff). Are they staying with a friend? Maybe. Page Six may still be f-king mad if they don't yet know where the Sussexes will stay. Backgrid is the source of these photos. Legal expert: Prince Harry's royal protection case will likely lose in the UK
If you are still wondering what Prince Harry's "loss in court" yesterday meant, The Telegraph published an article that included a straight report on what Harry's team argued and what the judge decided. Harry was arguing about Ravec, the secretive group that decides who receives royal protection. He was also arguing whether Harry's offer to pay his own police security in the UK had been properly made to Ravec and the Met police. Harry argued that he had the right to make his case personally to Ravec, or to make an offer written. This offer should have been considered. Harry does not have the right to "formally represent" his position on this issue, according to the judge. It's a case about Ravec bureaucracy and royal protection services, and the judge ruled for the bureaucracy. Harry's case still has other issues to be decided. Would you like to see some biased analyses on the case in the meantime? The Daily Beast's Royalist has the following: The ruling by a British judge that Prince Harry could not legally challenge the British Government's decision to deny him the right to pay for police security while he was in the U.K. does not bode well for his argument that he should have automatic high-level protection when he's in the U.K. Harry and Meghan will be dealt a new blow by the ruling, just days after being accused of exaggerating their security concerns when they claimed they had been the subject of "near-catastrophic" paparazzi chase through Manhattan's streets. The ruling on Tuesday is not the end of Harry's case for automatic police protection he and his family should have while in Britain, a right Harry feels he has due to his "inherited risk". However, some see it as a sign that Harry's whole action is about to go down the drain. Mark Stephens told The Daily Beast that "the writing is now on the wall" for this case. He said that he always thought Harry would not win, but now he felt more confident. Stephens stated that Stephens's argument that the state can decide whom it wants to protect, to what extent and that it cannot be forced to hire out the police force was supported. The British Home Office claimed that allowing wealthy individuals such as Harry to purchase police protection would undermine the public's confidence in police officers and take them away from their core responsibilities. Harry was able to argue his main claim, that he is entitled to automatic British protection, at a previous hearing. This was not decided on Tuesday and the case continues. The Daily Beast Harry's case, in my opinion, serves as a reminder of how poorly British institutions are run and that they lack intelligence or integrity. Harry is entitled to expect and demand high-level protection from the police whenever he visits the UK. He's an extremely well-known individual and is a target of high level for domestic terrorists. Harry and his family are not under any threat, but the state argues that Harry's safety should be determined based on his "working royal" status. Harry believes that the police protection he receives (only when he is in the UK) should come as standard, and he should be able to reimburse the taxpayers. Ravec and police fighting Harry over these issues is utterly absurd. The Sun reported that the state had already spent PS300,000.00 in legal fees to combat Harry's legal action. The Mail reported that Harry would spend around PS500,000 on legal fees. Harry's point is to draw attention to the dysfunctional and outdated institutions. Harry wants to show that he is eager to return to his native land more often, but that the "powers-that-be" are not willing to ensure his safety and in fact are fighting in court to deny him police protection. Prince Harry has lost a part of his lawsuit about paying the UK Police for his security.
Prince Harry has a complicated legal battle when it comes to his police security in the UK. In March 2020 the Sussexes lost their police protection, and now they have private security. Harry asked Ravec, the committee that decides who receives security, if Harry could have police protection whenever he returned to the UK and if the Met Police could just reimburse him for the cost. Harry's request triggered a long-running legal battle in which his offer and position were consistently misrepresented. It's not about "should Harry receive security paid by the British taxpayer", although I think he should. The fight is about A) whether Ravec misrepresented Harry’s offer, B), whether Harry can reimburse the police, and C) if he “deserves” security at all. Harry's legal case has already been decided in part. Harry did not win. Prince Harry lost his legal battle to allow him to pay privately for police protection. After his security arrangements changed after he stopped being a working royal, his lawyers sought a judicial appeal of the decision to reject his offer to pay in the UK. A judge ruled that such an hearing would not be allowed. Home Office lawyers were opposed to the idea that wealthy people could "buy" police security. The ruling was made after a court hearing that lasted one day in London, last week. Last week, Prince Harry's lawyers challenged at the High Court the decision that he and his family would not receive private funding to provide police protection when they visited the UK. Prince Harry questioned how the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (known as Ravec) reached this decision. Ravec is responsible for the security of high-profile figures including senior royals. Prince Harry's attorneys had told the court that "Ravec exceeded its authority and power because it didn't have the right to make this decision at all." The lawyers argued there are provisions in legislation that allow payment for "special services" of the Metropolitan Police Service. The Home Office stated that there was no requirement that the Ravec Committee allow Prince Harry the opportunity to make representations and that there were few chances of the decision changing. The Home Office's attorneys told the court that "given the nature and arguments advanced by the claimant in this case, the court is confident that these representations were highly unlikely to have made any substantial difference." [From BBC] According to what I understand from the legal arguments, Harry wanted to learn more about Ravec. He also wanted to hold Ravec responsible for misrepresenting the offer to pay for police security. His lawyers sought a judicial hearing to review the decision to reject his offer to pay to cover protection in the UK. But the judge ruled against it. Harry went after Ravec, and the powers that be said "no more." It's clear Ravec was made up of royal courtiers and they were trying to cause harm and danger to Harry and Meghan. I would say that the same people still try to harm the Sussexes. I wonder if Harry's mind will change about Harry testifying personally in London next week. These people are really trying to harm him. Or worse. Omid Scobie reports that Mr Justice Chamberlain denied permission to the Duke of Sussex for him to apply for a legal review in order to challenge the decision not to allow him to pay for his own private police security while in the country. Scobie says the battle for security isn't yet over, because "Harry already won the right for a full judicial appeal against the Home Office for the main decision denying him protective security." His lawyers may also appeal the ruling. Backgrid is the source of these photos. Did you miss our previous article... https://wawawiiwa.com/celebrity...

Spoilers for the last night's "Church State", Succession Watching the last seasons of Ted Lasso, and Succession at the same time is a strange experience. Both shows, despite having little in common, are considered two of the most popular shows of the last decade. They both have sharp writing and excellent performances. Ted Lasso’s final season was awash with bad storylines, uneven plots and poor characterization. The Emmys will be awarded to Succession for the entire year. The penultimate episode was "Church State" last night. The final season has been compressed into a timeline of less than one month (within story). Logan Roy died in a plane crash a week or so before the presidential elections, and Logan's demise was episode three. The funeral was held on episode 9 the day following the presidential election. The entire season has been filled with incredible performances. But the three central "Roy Kids" (Shiv Roman and Kendall), have done the most and are all deserving of Emmys. Sincerely, I don't know how Emmy voters will choose between Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin for Best Actor. I didn't really want to write a review. I wanted people to be able to discuss how amazing and brutal this episode was, and how awesome it is that Jesse Armstrong can land the plane. Ewan Roy, played by James Cromwell, deserves it all too. I also loved the scene with Marcia and Caroline, as well as the two mistresses on the front row. Roman's breakdown by the coffin and Shiv's stupid Eulogy... Good stuff. Am I the only person who is blown away by Alex Skarsgard’s subtlety? Alex Skarsgard is giving one the best performances of her career and you can see that she's thrilled to be a part of this show. I don't know what will happen at the end, but let's be clear: Roman isn't a good person. He's not. They're all terrible people. All of them are terrible people who deserve to be punished. Close the chapter. Joe Alwyn is 'disappointed' and'slighted' by Taylor Swift's decision to move on with Matt Healy
I mentioned many of Healy's terrible stories, some of which were only a few months old, when we first learned about Taylor Swift and Matt Healy. I mentioned many of Healy's terrible stories, some of which were only a few months old, when we first learned about Taylor Swift and Matt Healy. Healy is a man with a lot of issues, including racism and race. He also has a bad reputation among his female fans. Buzzfeed took a closer look at some of Healy's on-record remarks about the type of porn he likes. The results are pretty disturbing and sick. Taylor has not changed her mind about Healy (recently). Taylor is going full speed ahead with her romance. They just had their first big photo shoot in New York this week. When the first news of Swealy's arrival was leaked to The Sun in early may, Taylor's fans had a lot of doubts about the timeline. We could be generous and say that Taylor's relationship with Joe Alwyn ended in March. Taylor "worked" with Healy in the past, and she attended The 1975's January concert. This boyfriend rollout has the appearance of being something that has been going on for some time. So, did Taylor cheat? Joe Alwyn, according to the Mail is beginning to suspect she did. Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift's former boyfriend, feels 'distraught' and slighted by her new relationship with British singer Matty. He had put his trust in her when she said she was only 'friends with' The 1975 frontman. The rumors of Taylor Swift's romance with Matty Healy, 34, first appeared earlier this month. This was just weeks after news broke of her breakup from British actor Joe Alwyn, 32, whom she dated over six years. Sources with insider knowledge of the situation claim that Joe is unhappy with the speed at which his ex-partner has moved on, especially after he 'trusted' Taylor when she started collaborating with Matty in the final months their relationship. A source close to Joe told DailyMail.com that he feels betrayed and distraught by her budding romance with Matt. However, he is trying to stay busy and focused on himself. Matty called Taylor 'amazing,' and revealed that they had worked together on her album Midnights, which will be released in October of 2022. According to the insider, Joe supported this at the time by putting all his 'trust' into his then-girlfriend. Taylor surprised her fans two months later when she performed Anti-Hero, a new song from The 1975 at the O2 Arena. Joe was aware of the fact that Matt and Taylor were collaborating and making music. The source said that she told him they were friends and that he trusted his friend. However, they denied that there was any 'overlap" between Taylor's romances. The Daily Mail Guy dates Snake-in Chief for 6 years, and is surprised to find out she bites him. Taylor is classic, truthfully. She will never be able to get out of any relationship drama-free and clean. I've always suspected that Taylor was also involved with Tom Hiddleston and Joe. If I were Joe, I'd be furious, especially because it looks like Taylor had been planning this for some time. Images courtesy of Avalon Red Backgrid and Cover Images. Last December, the Sussexes Netflix docuseries released photos of the wedding reception and the afterparty. Harry's memoir had a lot of information about the wedding. Kate is trying to convince the public that Meghan made Kate cry days before her wedding. This was not true but Kate will not give up on this narrative. We must not forget that it has been five years since we solved the mystery surrounding Kate's white coatdress. Harry told us this story in Spare. We learned about it in January. Now that I've seen the wedding pictures, I regret Meghan didn’t wear the Spencer Tiara. The Spencer Tiara would have been beautiful with Meghan's veil and dress. The British media and royal family wanted this marriage to never take place. They then openly prayed that Meghan would be divorced or removed from the picture. It's amazing that these two have survived the storms they have faced in just five years. Avalon Red on Netflix provided the photos. CoolSculpting uses extreme cold as a non-invasive treatment to contour the body. It reduces fat cells by freezing them. It's also becoming famous for a side-effect called paradoxical hyperplasia, which is when the fat cells grow and become harder instead of disappearing. PAH can appear as lumps that are hard under the skin. Because of the shape of the applicator, they may even resemble a stick butter. Supermodel Linda Evangelista sued CoolSculpting because it ruined her appearance. The settlement was reached out of court. Abbey Sharp, a YouTuber who is very popular, has now opened up about her experience with PAH. Abbey Sharp's videos are entertaining. She's a dietitian and she adapts celebrity diets into healthier meals. Her Gwyneth paltrow videos, for example, are absolutely priceless. Abbey's comments about her CoolSculpting botch, as well as insights from a surgeon are below: Abbey chose CoolSculpting for its non-invasive nature. Sharp, who had battled orthorexia (an obsession with healthy food) in the past, says that she has never felt like she has a flat abdomen. The med spa told her that CoolSculpting would help achieve this. Sharp, who was already slim and had a flat stomach, was told she was a good candidate. Her "problem" areas could also be targeted. Sharp told Yahoo Life that's the way it was pitched to her. It was like 'This is an easy decision. I got the impression that it was less invasive than Botox. Abbey explains that after Abbey's treatments, she noticed that her body was uneven. "It looked like there were lumps and bumps on my side. "My side began to look uneven. My lower belly bulged in a way that was not on the other side. So I thought let's see what we can fix this. "I was never told CoolSculpting would cause this. It made no sense when I looked at the description of how CoolSculpting worked." Sharp was offered a second CoolSculpting treatment at the med-spa, but it didn't work. She returned to the spa and received a complimentary CoolSculpting treatment. She did not notice any difference to her body - the lumps were still there. Sharp didn't realize the bulges on her body were caused by a potential side effect of CoolSculpting called paradoxical adipose Hyperplasia. PAH might not be as rare as the manufacturer claims. Manufacturer data shows that PAH occurs 1 in every 4000 treatments. However, this data may not give the full picture. Not all patients who experience PAH report it to their doctor, who then reports it to Zeltiq. Sharp, for instance, initially was unaware of PAH or the link to her CoolSculpting treatment. We don't yet know what causes PAH. Dr. Chris Funderburk, a plastic surgeon in New York City, treats patients with negative outcomes after CoolSculpting. He believes there are still too many unknowns. He says that there are no good data to support the cause of PAH. "We don't have any good data on this," he says of the reason PAH occurs. We don't even know which machine generation to use or what paddles to use to avoid PAH. Unfortunately, it's still a mystery. [From Yahoo] Abbey talks in her video about considering surgery to remove the lumps, but deciding against it because of the long recovery period. She would not be able to spend as much time with her children. It's great that Abbey has brought this up because I suspect it is more common than one in 4,000. I believe that patients are not always informed about the risks associated with this procedure. Abbey claims that no one informed her of the possible side effects, including PAH. Linda also reported a similar experience. This is not informed consent in my opinion. I find it strange that when she complained about the lumps, the medspa gave her even more CoolSculpting. I am not a doctor or surgeon, but I would never recomm...

He arrived with a large Louis Vuitton handbag, which he then left at Taylor's. I thought it was the end of the story. Just pointing out Healy has been staying with Taylor for several weeks in New York. Then these photos, the ones in this post, were released. Taylor and Matt exited Electric Lady studio where Taylor had hosted a small party with friends. Taylor's paparazzi and security surrounded Matt and Taylor as they left. Matt placed his protective hand on Taylor's shoulder as he followed her. These are the very first "public" photos. (I don't count those grainy pictures taken in a Nashville garage). They're claiming eachother. What do you think? I love it because the Snake Family is CRAZY about this. Taylor's supporters are calling Healy (correctly), a problematic individual and someone who has uncomfortably bigoted and racist views. They cannot believe that Taylor would ditch a "good man" like Joe Alwyn in order to continue with this bigoted and chaotic bad-boy. They're so angry that they bring up Taylor's past problematic behavior, and it's wonderful. I love it. She took tom to selena’s concert and brought him along. She made him wear an i heart T Swift shirt. But he was still called a getaway. https://t.co/9y7voGRVFI pic.twitter.com/hI5VgWsRLq -- rafia (@repromantic) May 15, 2023 Backgrid is the source of these photos. When I write about the embarrassing Thomas Markle or Samantha Markle I have to constantly remind myself that Kate has embarrassing relatives too. It is only Kate's family members who are asked to say or do certain things in order to "empower" Kate. Meghan would have to give Meghan talking points instead of Piers. Gary Goldsmith is Kate's Uncle and Carole Middleton’s Brother. Gary Goldsmith is a wife-beater who has a bad reputation. I'm starting to question if these people are as rich as they claim. I thought Gary quietly funded Carole and her children's lives (because Party Pieces didn't cut it). But Gary's eagerness to get paid (I assume) to talk about the Sussexes makes me wonder if Gary has the same amount of money as the Middletons. Goldsmith was in the Daily Mail last December and Janaury, ranting about Meghan's rudeness towards Kate and William and the "jealousy" that Meghan has for Kate. Gary was sent specifically to "refute Harry's Spare and the Sussexes' Netflix Series". It didn't. Uncle Gary has arrived to give us his opinion on Harry's breezy performance at the coronation. The Mail gave Gary's byline as if he had "written" the article, but the Mail also noted at the end: "As told Claudia Joseph." This means that someone else actually wrote the piece and Gary simply performed it or added his name to it. Here are some of the highlights. When he first saw Prince Harry, he said: "The Waleses" - Kate and William and Charlotte and Louis looked incredible and for many of us were the most confident and relaxed people in the room. Prince Harry was a few rows back, and looked like a disengaged, petulant teenager. Kate is the most valuable asset of the monarchy. How did this little sporty girl, who loved to douse me, her uncle Gary, with water in the Middleton's back garden, turn into the most valued asset of the future Royal Family? Her authenticity, knowing her as I do. She is a genuine person. You can't pretend to be someone you aren't when you spend a long time in the spotlight. The cracks will show. Gary says Harry is "the brat": Harry was acting like a spoilt child, and flying back so quickly to LA for his son’s birthday. You get a birthday each year, but your father becoming King? That's a pretty big deal. He tried desperately to make it about him, and it was brilliant everyone ignored him. Harry who? My favorite moment was when Charles returned to the balcony and waved at everyone. This was the first time that I saw his face relax. The tension simply disappeared. The comment that the balcony is 'too-white' was the first time I have ever been offended at something on television. I think that we can all agree that the Royal Family has been evolving rapidly. If it is not Usain bolt fast enough, then they should get over themselves. Change is happening. The Prince and Princess Whining are the new Fab Four. Forget Meghan Harry. The new Fab Four is the King and Queen, Prince and Princess of Wales and the Prince and princess of Wales. The Daily Mail This is as embarrassing as Thomas Markle's interview. Gary is only doing it with permission from the Windsors. He has been given the task of flattering William, Kate and Harry. They want him to be out there calling Harry names and saying this nonsense. It's still amazing to me that everyone, from Gary Goldsmith and the royal reporters to the leaky Prince William's office, is still singularly focused Harry's quickie appearance at his coronation. Harry who? The Harry that you cannot stop talking about. Harry was not sulking - in his Dior suit he looked like royalty, and all eyes on him were both nationally and internationally. Is Gary Goldsmith in a desperate need of cash? It's sad that he is always rolled out in order to bash the Sussexes. Avalon Red Cover Images provided the photos.

Prince William & Kate created a behind the scenes coronation commercial
Prince William & Kate created a behind the scenes coronation commercial
The Prince and Princess' social media team shared a few short videos behind the scenes of the Wales family during the weekend of the coronation. They were created by royalists using publicly-accessible video. The Kensington Royal team has been making and posting these "fancams" (as I call them) for at least two years. This is funny to me because... These are not authentic fancams, made by royalist fans using publicly-accessible videos. Well, the coronation provided the Waleses to do something new: invite a professional videographer/commercial director named Will Warr into their lives for the weekend and make a real "short film" about them. By short film, I'm referring to a commercial that is five minutes long and includes exclusive behind-the scenes footage. It's interesting to see the angles taken within Kensington Palace. They are very careful not show the racist artwork that William and Kate display in their living rooms, which Kate selected from the Royal Collection. It was good to see Charlotte, Louis and their excitement for the crowning. As I said... style over substance. It would have been better from an artistic point of view if Kate and William had spoken to the camera about their feelings during this part or the Big Lunch, or whatever. It's a nice touch. Did they hire a director to film them in their own home? William and Kate, as many have noted, seem eager to give commercial access to the Sussexes' family life. Avalon Red provided the photos. There's no evidence that Camilla sold Prince Harry out to the media ...?
Prince Harry's numerous lawsuits and court proceedings against British tabloids is bad news for Windsors. Harry, as I have noted, is in a winning position right now, particularly with the trial against Mirror Group Newspapers, the publishers of the Daily Mirror, and Sunday Mirror. Harry argues that hundreds of old Mirror stories were obtained through illegal means (phone hacking and bribery). From the beginning of the trial onwards, The Mirror argued that the majority of articles were sourced from royal offices. That is, courtiers who worked for Harry's grandmother and father were constantly leaking information about Harry. Harry's arguments are proven in both scenarios: tabloids are criminal enterprises and the Windsors have a symbiotic relationship with the British criminal media. Harry also knows many secrets, such as the secret, huge settlement Prince William received by the Sun. Will there be more revelations of this nature? Hopefully. It's made the Windsors shake in their boots. Here are some highlights from The Royalist's most recent piece: Prince Harry's testimony against the Mirror is coming up soon. A friend of the Prince told The Daily Beast that "the family knows he can say anything, and no one looks forward to it." Harry is obsessed with the idea that the media and everyone else are in cahoots, so there's bound to be more of this. William's settlement with NGN was "very large". According to The Daily Beast, the settlement amount is around PS1m ($1.15m). While the terms of the agreement were confidential, Harry could have been involved in the deal, and received a similar settlement. Camilla is also mad: A friend who was Camilla, whom Harry had accused in his book, of sacrificing Harry on her "PR-altar," told The Daily Beast, that although the king and the queen are "deeply injured" by Harry's behavior so far and will likely be upset further if he repeats or makes new allegations in court, "they absolutely accept he has a right to have his day in the courtroom like any other citizen." Camilla's connection to Piers Morgan Mark Bolland: When asked if Camilla felt unnerved about claims in a skeleton case submitted to the court that Mark Bolland (her and Charles' former spin-doctor) may have been a source of stories about Harry, including one that Harry caught glandular disease after kissing girls, and that Bolland had been a drinking buddy of Piers Morgan, who has since become one of the Sussexes most vituperative Anyone who knows Camilla knows that the idea that she would have encouraged Bolland sell Harry to the Mirror, is complete rubbish. Harry will be testifying for three days, and Omid will also testify. The timetable shows Harry to be testifying for three full days in early June. Next week, Omid, a biographer and cheerleader for Sussex, will testify at Harry's side. He will testify, according to court papers, that while interning at MGN's Sunday newspaper The People, he was "given a list mobile phone numbers and verbal instructions on how to listen voicemails as if this were a standard news gathering technique." The Daily Beast I'm not sure how to respond. The exact terms were kept confidential but they weren't hidden from Harry. He could have taken part in the deal to get a similar settlement. I'm still curious about how Harry found out and if he is aware of the terms. Mark Bolland, Camilla's PR guru was the one that she convinced Charles to hire. He also came up with the three-decade-long Project Queen Camilla to turn this conniving girl into the queen consort. The coronation hoopla (to me), has only highlighted that Camilla is still not ready for primetime. Her image is a sham, and Harry is well aware of what she's done to him as well as to Meghan. Remember that Camilla had n...

Anderson Cooper defends CNN for airing Trump's Town Hall, despite his embarrassment.
The cyclical nature fascism and stupidity has been kicking people's arses lately. It would be less disturbing if, as a community, we didn't treat "ignorance", "violent fascism", and other twin movements like they were new. As if there was no way of knowing how to deal these people. Many people are like fruit flies and can't remember anything from two years ago. It would be less disturbing if, as a community, we didn't treat "ignorance", "violent fascism", and other twin movements like they were new. As if there was no way of knowing how to deal these people. Many people are like fruit flies and can't remember anything from two years ago. CNN provided Donald Trump with hundreds of hours free of charge in 2016. CNN would broadcast his Nazi rallies on live TV, without any fact-checking and commentary. Cable news followed this policy up until November 2020. That's when Trump went berserk on Election Night, and started spitting out the lies that would lead to a violent insurrection on the Capitol grounds on January 6, 2021. From November 2020 to January 2021, news organizations realized that they could not blindly promote Trump's lies and violent threats. It is their civic and corporate duty to avoid putting him on the air without context. This week, CNN decided that it would be like 2016 again. CNN aired a town hall with Donald Trump, the insurrectionist who has been impeached twice and is currently under indictment. CNN was, as I said yesterday - grossly irresponsible. In the 24 hours following the town hall, CNN received widespread criticism from all sides. It got so bad, that Anderson Cooper had to make a public statement at the beginning of his CNN program last night. You have every right to feel outraged and angry today, and you should never watch this channel again. Do you really think that listening only to those who agree with you and staying in your own silo will make this person disappear? I am so embarrassed for Anderson Cooper. What in the f-k is he thinking? It's obvious that sensible people understand that Trump will not be "going away" anytime soon. We know the white nationalists are not going away either. But we all agree it would be f****** irresponsible of a news channel to broadcast a neo Nazi town hall without editing, fact-checking, or context. CNN did exactly that. AGAIN. They did it again in 2016, 2019 and 2020. Why does CNN act as if November 2020 did not happen? The insurrection did not happen? We shouldn't be forced to watch as major news networks learn that it is a bad thing to act as a platform for violent sexual predators, white nationalists and insurrectionists. Dampier: 'There's a real problem, with most of the royals working over seventy years old'
Are you with me, or did the coronation paintings have the opposite impact from their intended effect? The portraits were meant to celebrate King Charles's "slimmed-down monarchy," which he had longed for, with only the Windsor clan's most important members in a position of honor. What we got instead was a bunch octogenarians and septuagenarians. We also had two lazy 40-year-olds. Even the most conservative royal commentators have been enraged by the staleness and paleness of the event. The 74-year-old King is well known for his support of a smaller, cheaper monarchy. However, the picture also showed the potential difficulties that could arise, as all working royals, except four, are now over 70. The Prince and Princess Of Wales are under pressure to accept the majority of engagements, as the pool of working royals is shrinking. Phil Dampier, a royal author, said today that there will be fewer working royals in the next decade. Any further cuts would leave them unable perform their daily duties. He told MailOnline that 'we have a slimmed-down monarchy by default, because Harry and Meghan are gone and Andrew is in disgrace. There is a problem now that most of the royals who are still working are over 70. William and Kate, Edward and Sophie are the only royals left until their children reach adulthood. For the next ten years, there will be a shortage in manpower and womanpower. Charles has never been in favor of bringing Beatrice and Eugenie on board to help out, as they are linked with their parents. We will have to accept the fact that we are no longer going to be able to count on 1,600 patrons like the Queen or Prince Philip. Mr Dampier said that Queen Camilla may not welcome the idea of a long-distance royal tour. He said: 'Charles looks very fit, but I don't think the Queen would be thrilled with grueling overseas tours like those to Australia, New Zealand or the Caribbean. She hates flying and the heat, so she'll have a hard time at 75. The monarchy is already slimmed down. Let's not talk about further reducing it. Princess Anne stated this on Canadian television a few weeks ago. The institution's day-to-day work will be impossible if it is not cut back. The Daily Mail I enjoy that no one will acknowledge the truths about the Duke and the Duchess: that they would not have left if the Windsors treated Meghan and Harry well, protected them and loved them; that when the Sussexes said that they were "half in," their offer was rejected and ridiculed; and that the Sussexes won't be returning. William and Kate's laziness is also not acknowledged. There's a lot of panic because the Waleses are refusing to do anything more, despite the fact that they were instrumental in driving the charismatic Sussexes away out of racism and jealousy. Oh well! Bebe Rexha: When I started I was told ‘you need to lose 20 lbs’
One of the things I like most about Bebe Rexha is her memorable, sometimes wacky red carpet style. She always serves up something flashy and fun–you’ll never see her looking basic. One of the things I like most about Bebe Rexha is her memorable, sometimes wacky red carpet style. She always serves up something flashy and fun–you’ll never see her looking basic. Another thing I like about Bebe is that she talks about her struggles in an authentic way. She recently shared that one of the TikTok suggested searches is about her weight, which she said sucks but is understandable. In an interview with Gayle King she revealed that she’s been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, which has contributed to her weight gain. She also mentioned that she’s faced pressure to lose weight since the start of her career. Bebe Rexha revealed that she recently learned that she has polycystic ovary syndrome, or PCOS.
During an appearance on Gayle King’s SiriusXM show Gayle King in the House, the 33-year-old singer opened up about her experience with PCOS — a hormone imbalance that affects 1 in 10 women of childbearing age.
The condition can cause symptoms like irregular periods, excess hair growth, acne, weight gain and infertility.
“I definitely struggle with my weight and I struggle with the way that I look, and it’s been tough for me. I just found out recently that I have PCOS and a lot of women have it. And a lot of women have it and don’t know,” Rexha said while noting that weight gain is a common symptom she’s dealt with. “It’s tough. I think for me, I’ve been definitely struggling with my weight and I’ve been struggling with food forever.”
She continued, “I remember starting out and getting my first record deal, they kind of put it in my head and they said to me when I first got signed, ‘Are you ready to get into bootcamp shape? Because you need to lose 20 lbs. in order to do this career. Like you have to lose weight.'” [From People]
I feel for Bebe because it sounds like she’s faced both internal and external pressure to change how her body looks for several years. This is a familiar feeling for me personally, and most days I don’t want to look at myself in the mirror at all. So many women feel this pressure to change their bodies to fit a thin ideal. Even if we don’t get told “you need to lose 20 lbs,” some research suggests that women in larger bodies are paid up to 10% less than their thinner peers. It’s disappointing that someone as talented as Bebe could still be reduced to her appearance. But it’s not surprising. It must have been a crushing thing for Bebe to hear when she was starting out. What she needed as a budding singer and songwriter was support, not judgment. It’s also short-sighted and dumb for industry execs to try to make all their pop stars conform to a thin ideal. Bebe’s story shows that so many factors influence a person’s weight. And not all of them are in our control. The causes of PCOS remain unknown, so getting effective treatment is often easier said than done. I like that Bebe is being so open about what she’s going through and raising awareness about PCOS. Still, it sounds exasperating for her to deal with negativity about her body over and over. Bebe is currently headlining a tour around the US and I hope she feels the love from fans who come out to her shows. And I hope she continues to wear flashy, wacky outfits.

E. Jean Carroll, a writer and journalist from New York Magazine, covered an issue in 2019 to promote her book. She described two sexual assaults in the book: one by Les Moonves, then head of CBS, and another by Donald Trump. Carroll said that Trump raped her in the dressing rooms of Bergdorf Goodman during the 1990s. She told her friends about the incident, but did not go to Bergdorf or the police. She knew even then that Trump would do everything to destroy her. Carroll filed a civil lawsuit against Trump in 2019 for assault, defamation, and rape. He dismissed her claim as he had done with so many other women who he had preyed on, raped, and assaulted. The civil trial lasted for several weeks before the case was presented to the jury. The jury returned a unanimous verdict in just three hours: Trump is responsible for defamation and sexual abuse. A Manhattan jury found Donald J. Trump liable on Tuesday for sexual abuse and defamation against magazine writer E. Jean Carroll. The jury awarded her damages of $5 million. This was a civil trial which attracted wide attention and sought to extend the #MeToo era of accountability to a prominent political figure. The jury, which consisted of six men, three women, and one woman, found that Donald Trump, aged 76, had defamed Carroll in an October statement he made on his Truth Social site, calling the case "a hoax and a falsehood" and a "complete con job." In its verdict, the jury said that Ms. Carroll did not prove, by a majority of evidence, that she was raped by Mr. Trump, as she has long claimed. Ms. Carroll filed a lawsuit against the former president in 2012, accusing him he pushed her up against a wall in the dressing room of Bergdorf Goodman, a luxury department store in Manhattan in the mid-1990s, and then raped her. Ms. Carroll is the first woman to successfully testify in a court of law about sexual misconduct allegations made by Mr. Trump. The jury found that Carroll also proved that Trump had injured her by publishing his denials of her allegations on his Truth Social page in October 2022. The jury found that Ms. Carroll proved by clear and compelling evidence that Mr. Trump was aware that his statement was false, when he claimed that her accusation was an hoax. This legal standard is known as "actual maliciousness." The New York Times A grotesque moment in this trial was when Trump mistook an old photo of Carroll as Marla maples. This proved that Carroll was indeed his type, being blonde, beautiful and leggy. In another section of his deposition he was questioned about the Access Hollywood recording, in which Trump said to Billy Bush, "When you are a star they let you do that." Grab them by the pssy and you can do anything. When asked if he meant that, Trump responded: "Well historically, stars have always been true." You can see that this has been true for the past million years. "Unfortunately or fortunately." I am extremely proud of E. Jean Carroll, and I wish her safety and security. I hope that she is surrounded by family and friends, and that she is protecting herself. She knew that the process of suing Trump was going to be long and arduous, and it was. But she persevered and got a small amount of justice. It's still not "enough," yet it is something. Backgrid and Cover Images provided the photos.

We now know this thanks to a wonderful article Moehringer wrote in The New Yorker entitled "Notes From Prince Harry's Ghostwriter." Moehringer explains a 2022 argument that he had over Zoom with Harry about a passage of the book about Harry's training as s a military officer, and Harry fought to include his snappy response to the line crossing moment when his "interrogators", brought up his mom. Both men became angry and frustrated over a single line. Moehringer thought Harry was going to fire him. Harry then accepted JR’s call, saying "I enjoy getting you worked-up like that." It's amazing: the ghostwriter of Julian Assange wrote 25 thousand words about Julian Assange's methodology. To me, it sounded like Elon Musk consuming mushrooms on Mars. What do I know, then, that the same ghost wrote a review for "Spare," describing Harry as being "off his royal tits," and me going "all Sartre" or "all Faulkner"? Who am I, to give rules? Perhaps the alchemy behind each ghost-author pair is unique. He got the job: In the summer of 2020 I received a text. The old question. Would you like to talk with someone about ghosting their memoir? I shook my head no. I covered my eyelids. I heard myself blurting out Who when I picked up my phone. Prince Harry. I accepted a Zoom. Naturally, I was curious. Who wouldn't? I wondered what was the real story. I wondered if there would be any chemistry between us. There was a surprising factor that led us to have chemistry. My mother Dorothy Moehringer had recently died and Princess Diana died 23 years prior to our first conversation. Our griefs were both fresh. Harry did not have a deadline. That was what attracted him to ghost Harry. Ghosts will happily oblige many authors who are in a hurry. They produce three to four books per year, churning and burning. I'm painfully slow. I don’t know how else to do it. I liked him too. I called him dude immediately; it made him laugh. His story was both relatable and frustrating, when he told it in broad strokes. It was horrifying how he had been treated by strangers as well as close friends. Harry and I were able to make steady progress throughout 2020 because we didn't want the world to know what we did. Zoom's privacy allowed us to enjoy the moment. Harry began to trust me and brought others into the Zoom bubble. This was a crucial phase for every ghosting project. Harry won my daughter Gracie's heart with his "Moana", scholarship. His favorite scene is when Heihei the silly chicken finds himself at sea. I went alone twice. Harry had me stay in his guesthouse where Meghan and Archie came to visit me during their walks. Meghan brought me trays and sweets every day, because she knew I missed my family. Harry's candor - In time, all topics were on the table. His candor made me feel honored, and I could see that he was surprised. I felt energized. Harry could not escape his wish that "Spare", which I had always focused on, would be a refutation of every lie about him ever published. Harry's dream is endless retractions. Borges envisioned endless libraries. He knew that at first, some people would be shocked. Harry knew that some people would be shocked at first. Someone leaked news about the book. Buckingham Palace is attempting to appease the media, by allowing them to access random people from the lives of the new king or queen. This makes for an interesting exchange of information in general. This was clearly approved by Queen Camilla - Jo Hansford, her colorist spoke to the Telegraph on record. This piece was really good, and I must admit that. Hansford's age is similar to Camilla's and she has done the hair of everyone. It sounds like everyone except Prince William. You'll soon see that she's a gossip. Highlights: She began working with Camilla over 35 years ago. "I remember her first appearance. She had brown hair with a few lights and a shaggy fringe. "I noticed her bright, blue eyes and knew she was blonder right away." Camilla and Charles have a "real, old-fashioned romance." Camilla loves Charles deeply. Charles loves Camilla very much. As her son Tom recently said in an interview, this is what it all comes down to. In my opinion, they should have been married much earlier. All that royal nonsense is ridiculous. I felt sorry for Princess Margaret for instance. She couldn't marry the man she loved. Of course, the world has changed. Obviously. Look at Meghan and Harry. It's sad, but I think that this has gone on so long. Diana was a wonderful person. "I think she tried hard, but it was too young for her to be working in a firm. We have to keep in mind that this is a company." Camilla will not try anything new as queen: "It will be the same." On the day a woman becomes queen, nothing dramatic happens to her hair. There are no "new rules" to follow. No new "Queenly' shade. "I view everyone as a unique individual, regardless of whether they are Queens or paupers. I have always believed this. It's about what fits a person, not what's trendy. Change Camilla's colors gradually: "Over the years, I've had to change Camilla’s color. I noticed in photos that her hair was starting to look like gray hair. I was hesitant because it would only look white. But she liked the way the colour made her appear. She also has a lot hair, but that's okay. We had a conversation, then we did it gradually, and Camilla loved it. Hansford is asked what she'd do with Meghan's long hair. She grimaces and says "we won't talk about The Big M", but she does have some thoughts regarding the mane of the Duchess. "She has lovely hair, but I think that it is too long. She is so thin, and when it comes to hair, you need to consider the entire image, the proportions. So I would raise her hair six inches. "I'm not a fan of that idea. As you age, you may need to shape your hair to make it longer. Your face muscles begin to shrink, so you can get a boost by bringing the length up to shoulder-length. Everyone ages differently. Hansford regrets that the many bald Windsor Men were not given more information about hair transplants and hair loss earlier on. The salon also offers an array of services, including colouring and cutting, and it has experts on wigs, hairpieces, and trichology. "The 'inner-circle' has a problem in that they don't receive the best advice. They're also so visible in the media, that if they had done something, everyone would have talked about it. I feel bad for William, because he was blessed with a beautiful head of hair. He should have trimmed it ages ago. We would have told him to cut his hair as soon as it started falling out, but he's too late now. The Telegraph Hansford has done a poor job with Camilla's hair for many years. It's been too light and white-blond. Camilla has a consistent style and color. I like that. However, I think she should choose a different shade. I would suggest going snow-white, or adding some lowlights to make her look more "blonde". Kate should cut off at least six inches of hair. Kate's hair may be thinning, even though we d...

Thomas Markle and Samantha brought their unhinged grifter acts to an Australian TV show
Thomas Markle has kept a low profile since QEII's death, right? He made some money by faking an illness last year just before the British tabloids planned to fly him overseas for the Jubbly. The plan was to "force" Thomas and Meghan to have an awkward reunion at all the events. The stroke, like his "heart attacks" before Meghan's marriage, was timed perfectly to avoid a closer examination of his words, actions and behavior. Samantha Markle is suing Meghan since a long time, and her lawsuit keeps getting worse and worse. These swindlers are back. The grifters sat for an interview with a local Australian publication: This is reportedly airing tonight? This is aired tonight? Samantha then says, "Meghan would still be a server if dad wasn't there." She also claims that Meghan's relationship with Harry is "toxic." Imagine being so smug, so disgusting for such a paltry payment. Observe that the British media covers these quotes but they are not paying for them. Dan Wootton and Piers Morgan have all paid Thomas and Samantha thousands to lie about Meghan and recite scripts. Tom and Scammy fled to Australia because the British media stopped paying. Tominey: Meghan Duchess, how dare you go out 12 days before the Chubbly?
The Duchess of Sussex really sent the British media reeling when she made surprise appearances at Misan Harriman's Ted Talk (a virtual appearance, at that) and the Lakers game on Monday night. They're scrambling, because they've spent the past four months screaming "where's Meghan?" and now that everyone can see her, suddenly the line is "she's trying to pull focus from the coronation!" Camilla Tominey spewed out a four-page diatribe analyzing Meghan's appearances in a piece this week called "What is really behind the sudden return of the Duchess of Sussex?" The Duchess of Sussex really sent the British media reeling when she made surprise appearances at Misan Harriman's Ted Talk (a virtual appearance, at that) and the Lakers game on Monday night. They're scrambling, because they've spent the past four months screaming "where's Meghan?" and now that everyone can see her, suddenly the line is "she's trying to pull focus from the coronation!" Camilla Tominey spewed out a four-page diatribe analyzing Meghan's appearances in a piece this week called "What is really behind the sudden return of the Duchess of Sussex?" Meghan lives rent-free in their heads, absolutely. She's their money-maker and "Everything Meghan" is a billion-dollar industry. It says so much about the Windsors and their press allies that all of them are still so obsessed with the comings and goings of an American woman living quietly in Montecito. Some highlights from Tominey's unhinged piece: The timing!! Royal watchers would be forgiven for questioning the timing of Meghan's latest appearances, just as the Union Jack bunting is being unfurled for what Harry has described as the "biggest day" of his father's life. Meghan sat next to her lawyer at the Lakers game: Much has been made of the fact that the Duchess was sitting next to her long-standing lawyer Rick Genow, an LA attorney who has advised her since her days starring as Rachel Zane on the legal drama Suits. Eyebrows were raised at the palace when she continued to seek his counsel even after she married into the monarchy in 2018 and took on her own team of UK staff. Meghan in the driving seat: In making a solo appearance ahead of the Ted Talk - and taking Harry to such an all-American sporting event, the Duchess appears very much back in the driving seat, with her husband once again playing a supporting role. Why did the Sussexes' spokesperson issue a statement when royal reporters were openly lying about Meghan leaking to the Telegraph? Harry has made no secret of his loathing of the press - who he has accused of colluding with a palace that constantly "leaked" and "briefed" against him and his wife. Yet Ms Hansen's punchy response to the coverage suggests Meghan still sees the value of active media management. Meghan might speak at any moment! Royal aides fear that while there may be a Coronation "ceasefire", it does not stop Meghan deciding at a later date to go into more detail [about the royal racism], not least amid talk of her planning her own autobiography as part of the couple's four-book deal with Penguin Random House. Finally naming the royal who made the comment would certainly help book sales, if or when the time comes for the Duchess to put pen to paper. Meghan kept a low profile because of South Park!! Another reason why she may be holding her counsel is as a result of South Park, which implied Meghan was a "sorority girl, actress, influencer, victim". Denying the couple were "furious" about The Worldwide Privacy Tour episode, a spokesman insisted: "It's all frankly nonsense." But people drew their own conclusions from Meghan keeping under the radar after it was aired on Comedy Central in February and widely circulated on social media. [From The Telegraph] One, I also can't believe that Meghan would go to a basketball game twelve days before her father-in-law wears a hat, how dare she steal the king's thunder, doesn't she know that every royal reporter is obligated by law to turn Meghan's every appearance into a month-long cryfest? She should have been more thoughtful! Two, they're so worried that a private American citizen has a lawyer and could sue their pants off at any moment. Three, how dare Harry enjoy a basketball game, it must be Meghan forcing him to attend the NBA Playoffs! Four, why can't Meghan allow the British media to lie a...

Angelina Jolie and Maddox Jolie Pitt attended the White House State dinner last night.
Washington DC's paparazzi. Angelina Jolie was spotted flying into Dulles yesterday. Rumors immediately spread that she would be attending the state dinner of President Yoon Suk Yeol, of South Korea on Wednesday evening. We didn't know that Maddox was her date. Maddox is a Cambodian-born student in South Korea who speaks some Korean or may even be fluent. Angelina, who was born in Cambodia, has spent the last few years at the Biden White House. She's attended official events and regularly meets with Biden officials and staffers. It makes sense that they would invite her to the state dinner. Angelina...

Angelina attended her first ever White House State Dinner. Maddox, her date, looked stunning. Angelina wore an old Chanel jacket over her custom-made gown, which was made several years earlier. I think she recycled her entire outfit. She even wore a pearl necklace! She probably thought, "I'm heading to the White House. Time to bust out the pearls!" Dr. Jill Biden looked stunning in Reem Acr, which was subtle yet elegant. Kim Keon Hee was the real star of the show. She wore an dazzling white outfit. Kim Keon Hee has 50 years! I first thought that President Yoon Suk Yeol had brought his daughter. She is so young. Korean skincare is not a joke. Backgrid is the source of these photos. The Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance in a virtual version at Misan Harriman’s Ted Talk
The "news" on the Duchess was hilarious. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Meghan appeared virtually at Misan Harriman’s Ted Talk. I then moved on. Little did I realize that Meghan's virtual appearance, which was AGAIN, a virtual one, would cause a firestorm in the British media. They claimed that Meghan "broke her cover" and "reemerged", after "snubbing" the coronation invite. How dare Meghan...not to leave her home to record a video message for Misan, less than two weeks prior to the coronation! HOW DARE SHE? They claimed that Meghan "broke her cover" and "reemerged", after "snubbing" the coronation invite. How dare Meghan...not to leave her home to record a video message for Misan, less than two weeks prior to the coronation! HOW DARE SHE? The Telegraph claimed that this was "the first public appearance the Duchess has made this year other than her release of official photographs last month after her visit to Harvest Home." This is not true. She went to lunch in LA with her staff, and Harvest Home staff, while being papped. Harry and Meghan were seen at a private members club in January. Meghan gave a short speech to Misan. The Duchess stated in her short introduction: "I have experienced his talent as he has photographed many meaningful milestones both for myself and my family. I also know that there are others who share this experience." She continued: "His camera has captured everything, from the events that changed the world to the invisible moments that we all needed to see. It also includes some of the most recognisable people on the planet. You might be surprised that this wasn't always the path he took and what he attributes to his success. "I am thrilled to welcome Misan Harriman to the Ted stage." The Telegraph It's perfect. It was a lovely gesture to make for a friend. Misan has taken photos of the Sussexes, their children, and Meghan for her One World speech in Manchester last September. He also took pictures when Meghan was pregnant with Lili. Meghan's "dramatic look" is also being discussed. To me, she looks like she got a little auburn balayage, and then flat-ironed it. She also appears to have lost some weight. You can tell by her facial expression when she gains or loses weight. She appears happy, rested, and healthy. I can't help but be excited to see Kate with red highlights and a center-part, as well as her hair flat-ironed. Meg, thank you so much for your support! Prince William believes Harry's quick visit to the UK was a "massive insult" to Charles
The Daily Beast's Royalist is a favorite of Prince William's friends. Royalist's Royalist column has published a number exclusives, all sourced by "a close William friend," about how William hates Duke and Duchess Sussex and that the brothers don't speak. William's obsession with the Sussexes and his unfailing opinions about what they do is always in the background. William says he hates his brother. Perhaps, for William's mental health, it would be better to ignore Harry's movements and not stalk him. What do I know? William believes that Harry's short coronation is a massive diss to their father. A close...

A close friend of Prince William told The Daily Beast that the shortness of Prince Harry’s trip to the U.K. for his father's coronation was a "massive insult" to his family. Harry is rumored to be able to fly into and out of the UK in less than 24 hour, a diss to his family. William's long-time friend said, "If he stays for less than 24 hrs. it's an insult." "You know 'Tell Us How You Really Feel, Harry'." William's father would be pleased that Harry is attending the coronation. According to the friend, the relationship between the two was "so bad that it is nonexistent". The friend explained: "William is officially in support of his father, because he's the king. It's his coronation." Charles may be relieved that the matter has been resolved, but there is a growing divide between William and Charles regarding their ongoing animosity towards each other. Charles seems willing to keep trying to build bridges. The Daily Beast was given a different view by a friend of the King about Harry's absence. He said: "Of Course Charles is thrilled Harry will be present." He has made it clear that he loves his two sons, and wanted Harry there. He knows it's going to be an incredibly quick trip." The Daily Beast William and his friends need to get their f-king act together. Harry's presence at the coronation had been negotiated between father, son and in reality, this is just a matter between them. Harry will be there for his father at Charles's big-hat day. William and his buddies don't want admit that Charles got the exact result he wanted, Harry appearing at the coronation without Meghan or Archie and Lili. This was the entire reason why the leaks from the palace went on for months. No, this is not a diss. Harry still loves his father, so it's a good thing that Harry and Charles talked. This tells me that William is enraged that Charles and Harry care enough about each other to negotiate together. On weekdays, I send only one email per day that I personally compose. CNN has fired Don Lemon for making sexist and ageist remarks repeatedly
I found the Don Lemon dramas to be the least interesting of all the news anchor dramas that have taken place in the last few years. Lemon was a CNN morning show cohost and a longtime anchor. He should have fired him years ago because of his behavior on and off camera, which included ageist and racist comments on air and a culture that encouraged harassment, sexism, and "bad behavior" with his staff. Lemon was not fired by CNN until now. I don't know why. Lemon was in trouble again a few weeks ago when he claimed that Nikki Haley,...
Lemon was in trouble again a few weeks ago when he claimed that Nikki Haley, a 51-year-old woman, was not a candidate for the presidency because she was "past her prime". It's strange that this was what triggered CNN's decision, but it appears to be. Lemon was fired from CNN Monday morning, a few minutes after Fox News fired Tucker Carlson. CNN has let go of longtime host Don Lemon. The media industry was stunned by the announcement made on Monday. In a memo sent to the staff, CNN CEO Chris Licht said: "Don will always be a member of the CNN family and we thank you for your contributions over the last 17 years." "We wish him the best and will cheer him on to his future endeavors." Lemon co-anchored CNN This Morning with Poppy and Kaitlan. The show has been airing for almost six months. Licht, the host of the morning program, said: "We are dedicated to its success." Lemon, in a separate statement, said that his agent informed him on Monday morning of CNN's decision to terminate him. Lemon stated that he was "shocked" by the fact that management had not informed him directly of his dismissal. Lemon said, "At never time was there any indication I wouldn't be able continue doing the work I loved at the Network." CNN refuted Lemon's version of the events, calling it "inaccurate." The network released a press release saying that "he was given the opportunity to meet management, but chose instead to make a Twitter statement." [From CNN] Oh, the back and forth about who told whom when and how. Lemon's tenure with CNN was messy, so it is no surprise that his firing will be too. He has the audacity, of course, to also be "stunned". Lemon has posted a strange message on Twitter, and the people are unable to understand its origin. Word? Notes? Someone suggested that the screenshot was taken from an email. Why is the font large? Why is the font blue-lavender in color? pic.twitter.com/8PyLqvS0d7 Don Lemon (@donlemon), April 24, 2023 Don Lemon's exit is being called a termination by Lemon. CNN's bookers reported that some guests refused to appear with Lemon on air. Research by the network found that Lemon's popularity had dropped after his Nikki Haley controversy. https://t.co/vDVCn2zZ4Y -- Michael M.
