Eternity in Every Heart - David W Palmer
Eternity in Every Heart
Online & Kerang AM – 10 Sept 2023, Moe 24 Sept 23,
SERIES THEME: How to Harvest the White Fields
(Ecclesiastes 3:11 LB) Everything is appropriate in its own time. But though God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, many cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.
(Jeremiah 1:5 MSG) “Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the light of day, I had holy plans for you ...
God has Holy plans for you
And he has holy plans for those around you
(Philippians 3:18–19 NKJV) {18} For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: {19} whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things.
INTRO:
There’s a deep connection with God inside them
But very few can find him on their own
They need someone to share with them
Jesus demonstrated this with a woman who was definitely aware of her deep thirst for God … but she mistook it as a thirst for male relationship
(John 4:28–30, 39, 42 NLT) The woman left her water jar beside the well and ran back to the village, telling everyone, {29} “Come and see a man who told me everything I ever did! Could he possibly be the Messiah?” {30} So the people came streaming from the village to see him. ... {39} Many Samaritans from the village believed in Jesus because the woman had said, “He told me everything I ever did!” ... {42} Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard him ourselves. Now we know that he is indeed the Savior of the world.”

God's Rescues, Protections, and Provision 1 - Enemies Removed Forever
God’s Rescues, Protections, and Provisions – Then and Now
The Best of Times and the Worst of Times— the Contractions of a Birth
(Matthew 24:3–14 NKJV) Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"
{4} And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. {5} For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. {6} "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
{7} "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
{8} "All these are the beginning of sorrows.
{9} "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake. {10} "And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. {11} "Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. {12} "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
{13} "But he who endures to the end shall be saved. {14} "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
(Genesis 22:17 NKJV) “blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.
SERIES THEME: God Is Growing Your Faith in Him by What He Has Done for What He Will Do
(Exodus 1:6–7 NLT) In time, Joseph and all of his brothers died, ending that entire generation. {7} But their descendants, the Israelites, had many children and grandchildren. In fact, they multiplied so greatly that they became extremely powerful and filled the land.
(Exodus 14:13–14 NKJV) And Moses said to the people, "Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. {14} "The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
(Exodus 14:13–14, 28 NLT) But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the LORD rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. {14} The LORD himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” ... {28} Then the waters returned and covered all the chariots and charioteers—the entire army of Pharaoh. Of all the Egyptians who had chased the Israelites into the sea, not a single one survived.

What Do We Learn about the Law of Confession from Jesus
What Can we Learn about the Law of Confession from Jesus's Example?
RECAP: What Can We Learn from Bible Examples of the Law of Confession in Operation?
Twelve Spies—You will get exactly what you say consistently
David—Build a Highway of Holiness with Your Words
Elijah—Bring God’s Written Words to Bear on Your Nation
Elisha
5. Jesus—Speak Ministry Outcomes before They Happen
(John 17:11 NKJV) “Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.”
(Mark 11:22–24 NKJV) So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. {23} For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. {24} Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
Jesus taught that things can change by speaking it contrary to how it appears
The Holy Spirit confirms that this means to call into being that which doesn’t not yet exist?
(Romans 4:17 KJV) ... God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
(Romans 4:17 AMP) … God who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.
Did Jesus do this?
Did he speak to things and command them into the state he wanted?
Did he speak of things which didn’t exist yet as though they did?
Did he speak to change things … creatively?
A. Woman Bent Over:
(Luke 13:11–13 NKJV) And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. {12} But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” {13} And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
The woman was bent and couldn’t straighten herself
Jesus spoke creative words
He spoke of things that hadn’t happened yet as though they had
Then he laid hands on her
Immediately, she was made straight
She glorified God; she knew she couldn’t do this herself
Jesus spoke of her healing as a present reality before it had happened.
ILLUSTRATION:
Evan Roberts declared all Wales in revival from the vision God showed him … and it began happening
Reinhardt Bonke— “I see a blood washed Africa. From Cape Town to Cairo, Africa shall be saved.”
My Teeth Vision:
I saw a vision of all of my teeth restored to brand new
I thought it was happening there and then,
But it is for my confession
It is a present reality in the spirit ream
But I have to speak it out creatively for it to come into being in the natural realm
APPLICATION:
You can do this too
Speak out loud in words what the Holy Spirit shows you is done
Speak as though it is already done—because in God’s mind it is
Speak it in the face of contrary and contradictory circumstances and people
B. Dead girl:
BACK STORY:
Jesus was returning to Capernaum from ministry trip to Gadara
A crowd met him
The ruler of the synagogue asked him to come to his home to save his 12 y.o. daughter from dying
Jesus agreed to go
(Mark 5:21–23 KJV) And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea. {22} And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, {23} And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.
But, on the way he was stopped by the woman with the issue of blood
She touched his garment and power went into her and she was healed:
She said, “If I can only touch his clothes, I will be healed.”
Jesus called her forward to testify and she “told the whole story”
Meanwhile, a runner from the pastors house said his daughter had just died
Jesus said, “fear not; only believe”
And Jesus followed him to his house ...
(Luke 8:51–55 NKJV) When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl. {52} Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.” {53} And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead. {54} But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, “Little girl, arise.” {55} Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that she be given something to eat.
Today, we are looking at Jesus’s use of the law of confession.
But first, note how many commands he gives in this narrative in his role as Lord;
they all go with the way he does miracles.
When he commands, we obey
Fear not, only believe
Permitted no one to go in except Peter, James and John ect.
Do not weep
Little girl arise
“He commanded that she be given something to eat.”
Now, did he speak using the law of confession?
“She is not dead, only sleeping”
He spoke to onlookers stating that the dead body was sleeping
If she was sleeping, he could wake her up with his voice.
“Little girl, arise”
He was speaking to a dead body as if she was alive and able to obey
ILLUSTRATION:
New Equipment: sounded good today
We spoke of a non-existent thing as though it was a past, historic fact.
The Ganglion is Gone
APPLICATION:
You can do this too
When you hear from God
Say only what he says—no more and no less
Stick to your confession (saying the same thing)
No matter what people say or how they ridecule it
Expect God to watch over it.
C. Lazarus:
(John 11:1, 4, 11–15, 23, 43–44 NKJV) Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. ... {4} When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” ... {11} These things He said, and after that He said to them, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.” {12} Then His disciples said, “Lord, if he sleeps he will get well.” {13} However, Jesus spoke of his death, but they thought that He was speaking about taking rest in sleep. {14} Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. {15} And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, that you may believe. Nevertheless let us go to him.” ... {23} Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” ... {43} Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” {44} And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
“Lazarus is dead”
Jesus was not mistaken about Lazarus,
only thinking he was asleep
He knew exactly what he was doing; it was intentional
“Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up.”
“Your brother will rise again.”
He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!”
A dead man couldn’t obey this
But a sleeping man could be woken by the loud shout
And then he could have obeyed the instruction
APPLICATION:
When you hear from God
Say only what he says—no more and no less
Stick to your confession (saying the same thing)
Despite people’s emotions, misunderstandings, contrary statements, wrong doctrines, or tears.
Expect God to watch over it.
NOTE:
He may not start you with raising the dead
But he will start you just outside your comfort zone
Believe he is guiding you
Step out by faith and obediently say what he has given you to say
It’s his responsibility to watch over his word to perform it
Bridle your tongue from saying anything other than what he says
D. Jesus’s Ministry Outcomes Regarding Salvation:
(Mark 10:32–34 NKJV) Now they were on the road, going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going before them; and they were amazed. And as they followed they were afraid. Then He took the twelve aside again and began to tell them the things that would happen to Him: {33} “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death and deliver Him to the Gentiles; {34} and they will mock Him, and scourge Him, and spit on Him, and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.”
(John 12:23–24 NKJV) But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. {24} Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.”
(Mark 10:45 NKJV) “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
(John 17:11 NKJV) “Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.”
(John 3:16–17 NKJV) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. {17} For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
