Peter knew he might die because he believed in Jesus, but he wanted to share the good news about Jesus no matter what. What is our mission as Christians? Our mission is to make followers of Jesus from every nation by the power of the Holy Spirit.

08/08/2021 Jesus is better than anyone and anything. He is the better Prophet, the better Priest, and the better King. God kept His promise to send His own Son to save people from sin. Jesus is the only true hero of the Bible. He trusted in God’s plan and died on the cross. Jesus gives us faith. One day Jesus will come back, just like God promised. People who love Jesus live by faith.

God showed Peter that the good news about Jesus is for everyone. God wants believers to tell everyone the good news about Jesus no matter who they are or what they do. Jesus is the Lord of all. The gospel continued to spread even when people tried to stop it. God wants us to celebrate when others believe in Jesus.

Jesus saved Paul from his sins. Paul was an enemy of Jesus and His followers, but then God changed him. Jesus came to earth to save sinners like Paul. (1 Timothy 1:15). When we trust in Jesus, He changes us from the inside out.

Philip told the Ethiopian man about Jesus. The man from Ethiopia knew what the Bible said, but he did not know the Bible is about Jesus. The Holy Spirit led Philip to help the man understand the good news about Jesus: Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and He is alive.
