Small Beginnings
“For who has despised the day of small things? Zechariah 4:10 NKJV
God had called Zechariah to rebuild the temple which had been destroy
586 Bc the temple was destroyed because of 3 sins. Idol worship, forbidden sexual relations, and bloodshed
God declares to a man, Zechariah, that He is going to rebuild this temple of worship and is told to not despise the day of this small beginning
Small beginnings!
During small beginnings, what normally happens is that one tends to put in a lot of work, effort so to speak with minimal support and encouragement
It is not unusual to experience setbacks in one way or another.
The important thing is to keep going and not give up.
Everybody wants the big – the big ministry, the big house, the big car, the big business, etc. We have big dreams and visions desiring to accomplish something great and significant. There is nothing wrong with any of that. We should dream big, stretch our faith, and believe God, however greatness starts off small. No significant work has ever started off huge.
Whatever the reason we often miss the big because we don’t do the little. The full ear of corn doesn’t just happen, It starts as a seed, then the blade, the stock, and finally the full ear of corn. Everything in life starts off as a little seed.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. A marathon is run one step at a time.
Despising your present will cause a person to frown upon the little things required to get to your destination
Don’t despise small beginnings – the big is in the little!
Gods call is to rebuild our lives to fulfill Gods purpose for us!
They start out with a blueprint communicated to us by hope!
It’s got to start somewhere and that’s how God reveals His purpose
Joseph dreamt of purpose
David could see victory of purpose
Faith in God is what brings to pass our hope
“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”Hebrews 11:3 NKJV
“This is God’s Message to Zerubbabel: ‘You can’t force these things. They only come about through my Spirit,’ says God-of-the-Angel-Armies. ‘So, big mountain, who do you think you are? Next to Zerubbabel you’re nothing but a molehill. He’ll proceed to set the Cornerstone in place, accompanied by cheers: Yes! Yes! Do it!’Zechariah 4:5-7 MSG
Todays obedience is tomorrows victories

God's Love Poured Out | 6.14.23 | Wednesday | On Fire Christian Church
God's love poured out
God poured out that love upon all in Christ Jesus
“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.” Romans 5:5 NKJV
Holy Spirit in us now submerges us into love. Since God is Love a believers longing becomes consumed with that love
“For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,” Titus 3:3-6 NKJV
Regeneration-Rebirth by Holy Spirit
Saved us by Himself without any merit on our part.
Same with the completion of our salvation.
Philippians 1:6 He that began
Everything is of Him because it must because we are sooo broken
How does He love me?
I didn’t find Him, He came in hot pursuit of me
“Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth— For your love is better than wine. Because of the fragrance of your good ointments, Your name is ointment poured forth; Therefore the virgins love you. Draw me away! We will run after you. The king has brought me into his chambers. We will be glad and rejoice in you. We will remember your love more than wine. Rightly do they love you.” Song of Solomon 1:2-4 NKJV
“I have come to my garden, my sister, my spouse; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends! Drink, yes, drink deeply, O beloved ones!” Song of Solomon 5:1 NKJV
He pursues us
“I sleep, but my heart is awake; It is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying, “Open for me, my sister, my love, My dove, my perfect one; For my head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night.” I have taken off my robe; How can I put it on again? I have washed my feet; How can I defile them? My beloved put his hand By the latch of the door, And my heart yearned for him. I arose to open for my beloved, And my hands dripped with myrrh, My fingers with liquid myrrh, On the handles of the lock. I opened for my beloved, But my beloved had turned away and was gone. My heart leaped up when he spoke. I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.” Song of Solomon 5:2-6 NKJV
The door hole is a part of the door pierced through at the upper part of the lock, or door bolt (מִן־הַחור), that is, by the opening from without to within, or through the opening, as if, i.e., to open the door by pressing back the lock or bolt from within. There was some obstacle. He tailed to open it. It had not been left so that he could easily obtain admittance. The metaphor is very apt and beautiful. How much he loved her! How he tried to come to her! As applied to the Saviour, what infinite suggestiveness! He would be with us, and not only knocks at the door, but is impatient to enter; tries the lock, and too often finds it in vain; he is repelled, he is resisted
Churches and believers, by carelessness and security, provoke Christ to withdraw. We ought to notice our spiritual slumbers and distempers. Christ knocks to awaken us, knocks by his word and Spirit, knocks by afflictions and by our consciences; thus, Re 3:20. When we are unmindful of Christ, still he thinks of us. Christ's love to us should engage ours to him, even in the most self-denying instances; and we only can be gainers by it. Careless souls put slights on Jesus Christ. Another could not be sent to open the door. Christ calls to us, but we have no mind, or pretend we have no strength, or we have no time, and think we may be excused. Making excuses is making light of Christ. Those put contempt upon Christ, who cannot find in their hearts to bear a cold blast, or to leave a warm bed for him. See the powerful influences of Divine grace. He put in his hand to unbolt the door, as one weary of waiting. This betokens a work of the Spirit upon the soul. The believer's rising above self-indulgence, seeking by prayer for the consolations of Christ, and to remove every hinderance to communion with him; these actings of the soul are represented by the hands dropping sweet-smelling myrrh upon the handles of the locks. But the Beloved was gone! By absenting himself, Christ will teach his people to value his gracious visits more highly.

God is Love | 6.11.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
God is Love
“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” I John 4:7-8 NKJV
This statement that we should love does not mean we wink at sinners and accept the perversions of man
Our loving God who is love deals with unrepentant sinners
“God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day. If he does not turn back, He will sharpen His sword; He bends His bow and makes it ready. He also prepares for Himself instruments of death; He makes His arrows into fiery shafts. Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood. He made a pit and dug it out, And has fallen into the ditch which he made. His trouble shall return upon his own head, And his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown.” Psalms 7:11-16
God poured out that love upon all in Christ Jesus
“Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”. Romans 5:5 NKJV
Holy Spirit in us now submerges us into love. Since God is Love a believers longing becomes consumed with that love
The pursuit of a believer is God who is love
The love of God toward you is like the Amazon River flowing down to water a single daisy. -
“The sin underneath all our sins is to trust the lie of the serpent that we cannot trust the love and grace of Christ and must take matters into our own hands”
We can fully embrace God's love only when we recognize how completely unworthy of it we are.”
“There will always be someone willing to hurt you, put you down, gossip about you, belittle your accomplishments and judge your soul. It is a fact that we all must face. However, if you realize that God is a best friend that stands beside you when others cast stones you will never be afraid, never feel worthless and never feel alone.”
“Though we are incomplete, God loves us completely. Though we are imperfect, He loves us perfectly. Though we may feel lost and without compass, God's love encompasses us completely. ... He loves every one of us, even those who are flawed, rejected, awkward, sorrowful, or broken.”
“We should be astonished at the goodness of God, stunned that He should bother to call us by name, our mouths wide open at His love, bewildered that at this very moment we are standing on holy ground.”
“Legalism says God will love us if we change. The gospel says God will change us because He loves us.”
“Trusting God's grace means trusting God's love for us rather than our love for God. […] Therefore our prayers should consist mainly of rousing our awareness of God's love for us rather than trying to rouse God's awareness of our love for him, like the priests of Baal on Mount Caramel
A healthy believer longs for Gods love like water
Drown me in your love
In order to enjoy His love one must be made righteous
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” II Corinthians 5:21
Love is like water is because you cannot live without it
Humans can go 3 days without water
As believers we cannot go without God's love
Go without water and you will die
A believer go without God and his essence of love and they will die
No vitality, no life , no spiritual fervor
“As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. Psalms 42:1-2 NKJV
“O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.” Psalms 63:1-2
We need God who is love
As believers we must be captivated by His love. That is what brings life to our souls and healing to a world
When you are captivated by Gods love the manifestation of that love will come out of you by loving others and by obeying God's commandments
Swim in His love by the presence of Holy Spirit

Spirits More Wicked Than They | 6.4.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
Spirits More Wicked Than They
“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” Luke 11:24-26 NKJV
Just prior to this Jesus was being accused of casting out demons by the devils power and they wanted a sign of His authority
“But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.” Luke 11:20-22 NKJV
Jesus states Him casting out spirits is the kingdom of God coming and says He is stronger than demonic power
Jesus next statement is a call demanding a side be taken!
“He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.” Luke 11:23 NKJV
You are either on the Lord's side or the devil's side
Joshua 24:15 choose this day whom you will serve
“How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” I Kings 18:21
Jesus follows this scripture of choosing a side with the following…
Luke 11:24-26. About unclean spirits leaving a man
The unclean spirit which was cast out called the house his!
Chilling to know most likely in all of us before salvation demons lived in us or controlled our life
We all needed saving thus the reason Jesus came
From this verse we see something necessitates action on the part of the delivered
“Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”. II Corinthians 6:17-18 NKJV
God calls us out from all things unclean and to stay away from unclean and says as we do He will be a Father and we are then sons and daughters
There are things God calls unclean
Now if we determine to not fear the Lord and separate ourselves we open ourselves up to wickedness.
“Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.” Luke 11:26 NKJV
Man healed at pool of Bethsesda and Jesus says to him
“See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” John 5:14 NKJV
You do not get to pick which wicked demons come with the one you are allowing back in
For instance you allow in a spirit of drugs or alcohol and submit to it after deliverance. You do not get to decide which worst demons he gets to come back with
He may bring in fear, suicide walked in with him. He may bring with him lust
If you open back a door of lust and submit to it you do not get to decide and tell that spirit you only want lust for the opposite sex. That spirit may bring with it abnormal sexual desires
If you are taken over by a compromising spirit you do not get to decide what other spirits come with him
The church has fallen into the lap of compromise and now they want to say we will only allow this in and we will have power to say who can come with him
Well gross perversion has walked in with him.
After this the people say they want a sign of his authority. Luke 11:29
“And while the crowds were thickly gathered together, He began to say, “This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet. For as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so also the Son of Man will be to this generation.” Luke 11:29-30 NKJV
Jonah in the belly of the fish 3 days and 3 nights so Jesus was in the belly of the earth
Jonah dead for 3 days and resurrected so Jesus dead 3 days and resurrected
They wanted a sign to satisfy their inquisitive appetite but the Lord said the only sign will be his death and resurrection
Jonah so to speak died and rose again and then preached repent
No disaster befell Nineveh within the 40 days but indeed the city was transformed in that period as Jonah said it would, because the people listened to Jonah and repented. The wicked rebellious city of Nineveh was replaced with a righteous city, except that this transformation occurred not because of disaster but because of repentance.Interestingly, Nineveh eventually fell back into its wicked ways after the time of Jonah
Jesus died and rose again and His message was to repent through His church.
“Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.”. Acts 2:38, 40 NKJV
40 years after the Lord left the earth judgment fell as it did on Nineveh on Jerusalem
In all repentance is preached and salvation is provided to those who call on His Name. The threat of demonic power returning is there we must continue in the faith to the death

The World is a Graveyard | 5.28.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
The World is a Graveyard
The world is a vast moral graveyard! A graveyard is a burial ground for the dead! When humanity is born into existence they are born into a world of sin and death. This Bible says Satan is the god of this world
Being that Satan is the father of all lies and is a thief and a murderer therefore the characteristics of this world reflect satans character. This world is headed into death with all its inhabitants. No one will escape the grave and all are born into the graveyard of this dying and damned world.
The ultimate graveyard for the eternal dead !
“Hell from beneath is excited about you, To meet you at your coming; It stirs up the dead for you, Isaiah 14:9 NKJV
“As drought and heat consume the snow waters, So the grave consumes those who have sinned. The womb should forget him, The worm should feed sweetly on him; Job 24:19-20 NKJV
“Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, And the sound of your stringed instruments; The maggot is spread under you, And worms cover you.’”Isaiah 14:11 NKJV
““But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— where ‘Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’” Mark 9:42-44 NKJV
“So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. And the people kept shouting, “The voice of a god and not of a man!” Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died.” Acts 12:21-23 NKJV
“And it shall come to pass That from one New Moon to another, And from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord. “And they shall go forth and look Upon the corpses of the men Who have transgressed against Me. For their worm does not die, And their fire is not quenched. They shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.” Isaiah 66:23-24 NKJV
So if we are born into this moral graveyard and Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death and we all are sinners, what is the answer?
Ephesians 2:1 says we were dead in trespasses and sin
Mankind tries to perfume their dead corpse
From within the grave of death mankind takes God promises and utter them to the Lord yet the Lord would say….
“But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to declare My statutes, Or take My covenant in your mouth,” Psalms 50:16 NKJV
Romans 3:10. There is no one good
“friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” James 4:4 NKJV
The only thing holding mankind back from an eternal damnation in hell is the heartbeat within their chest
Imagine being in this state of death with absolutely no hope. This seemingly chamber of death with no hope of ever getting out. Then you happen to hear these words
“For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.” John 5:21 NKJV
This my friend is a drop of water and the only drop of water upon the tongue of a damned soul
The rich man in Luke 16 while in hell longed for a drop of water
This statement by the Father is a statement of truth. He raise me the dead
“For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.” John 5:22-23 NKJV
I’m told the way!
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live” John 5:24-25 NKJV
Pentecost is about the life of God coming upon a dead soul and making it alive
“for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.” John 5:28-29 NKJV
John 11:25. I am the resurrection
Mark 5:41 Jarius daughter he says arise
Luke 7:14 he stops a funeral procession of a young man and says “Get up”
God writes His laws upon our hearts when He awakens us
“But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” Jeremiah 31:33
“For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, And ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, Streaming to the goodness of the Lord— For wheat and new wine and oil, For the young of the flock and the herd; Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, And they shall sorrow no more at all. “Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, And the young men and the old, together; For I will turn their mourning to joy, Will comfort them, And make them rejoice rather than sorrow. I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, And My people shall be satisfied with My goodness, says the Lord.” Jeremiah 31:11-14 NKJV

Tithing Honors My King | 5.21.23 | Sunday PM | On Fire Christian Church
Tithing Honors My King
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 6:19-20 NKJV
Priests according to the law of Moses had to be from the tribe or order of Levi
After Abrams victory “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. And he blessed him and said: “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” And he gave him a tithe of all.” Genesis 14:18-20 NKJV
Melchizedek was without beginning or end of days, so it means This person who was King of Salem/Jerusalem
Theophany-God appearing in human form in Old Testament
Jesus shows up and talks with Abram about Sodom and is one of 3 strangers Genesis 18
Jacob wrestled with an Angel who was Jesus
The voice who spoke to Moses in Burning Bush
4th man in furnace
Melchizedek King of Salem
“For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,” without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.” Hebrews 7:1-3 NKJV
thus acknowledging that in dignity of office Melchizedek was greatly his superior
From this it is evident that the propriety of devoting a tenth part of what was possessed to God, was regarded as a duty before the appointment of the Levitical law.
Even Jacob,Abrahams grandson picked up on this and said he would pay tithes
“Then Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me, and keep me in this way that I am going, and give me bread to eat and clothing to put on, And this stone which I have set as a pillar shall be God’s house, and of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You.” Genesis 28:20, 22 NKJV
We never hear of Melchizedek before or after
“The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. The Lord has sworn And will not relent, “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.” The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath.” Psalms 110:1-5 NKJV
This Psalm talks of Jesus
Therefore if Abraham paid tithes therefore so we do as well to our Priest Jesus!
Jesus received tithes from Abram and so from us
Through the law then God institutes and elaborates on the tithe
Malachi 3:10. The heart of the people had fallen away through their giving

Time's Up! | 5.21.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
Time's Up!
We live in what is called the dispensation of Grace. It is a season that followed a season of law. The door of grace is open to all to come into the kingdom of God by faith in the blood of Jesus! But it is a season! One day that season will close and the door will be closed.
“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:2-3 NKJV
Jesus is coming again, this is the blessed hope of our salvation taught all through the word
“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,”Titus 2:11-13 NKJV
“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” I Thessalonians 4:16-17
When?
““But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.”. Matthew 24:36-42 NKJV
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” Matthew 24:44 NKJV
We should be expecting this day so that when it comes it’s no surprise
“But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.”. I Thessalonians 5:4-11 NKJV
The feasts of God were given as appointments
“The Lord spoke again to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The appointed times (established feasts) of the Lord which you shall proclaim as holy convocations—My appointed times are these:” Leviticus 23:1-2 AMP
The Lord has used in times past the feasts to prepare us for a visitation
Passover-Jesus death buried and resurrection
Pentecost- a harvest feast - Holy Spirit came
Switch gears to the fact that the Lord has been gone from this planet for 2000 years
“Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day. The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:8-9 AMP
“On the third day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there;”. John 2:1 AMP
‘Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!’” Revelation 19:9 NKJV
Since first Pentecost in 30 A.D. it has been 7 years short of two thousand years 2030 marks two thousand years
2000 year or two day prophecies
“Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.” Joshua 3:4 NKJV
“I will return again to My place Till they acknowledge their offense. Then they will seek My face; In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.”. Hosea 5:15 NKJV
“Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.”. Hosea 6:1-3 NKJV
Israel cut off and revived the 3rd day during Millennium reign
“On that very day some Pharisees came, saying to Him, “Get out and depart from here, for Herod wants to kill You.” And He said to them, “Go, tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.’” Luke 13:31-32 NKJV
The church age for 2k years
John 2 the wedding the first miracle of wine representing the outpouring of the Spirit.
“And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” John 2:10
The best wine till last is what the Lord is telling us
“Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.” Joel 2:23-24
If God is saving the best wine for last we should be looking and pleading with expectation for His harvest
First thing after the wedding of Cana he went into the temple to clean it up
“Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” John 2:19 NKJV
The moment they crucified Jesus till now has been 2k years and He about to raise it up
First thing after first outpouring of Spirit at Pentecost was go into the world to make disciples.
Latter rain is coming and then This worlds time is up
Time is running out! Christ's return is eminent! It’s closer than we think!

Is There A Warrior Among Us?
“Where no oxen are, the trough is clean; But much increase comes by the strength of an ox.” Proverbs 14:4 NKJV
No oxen, clean trough
The crib and stable may be easily kept clean where there are few or no oxen: but there is so much advantage arising from tilling the ground, that it is better to have a litter with plenty of oxen, than to have great neatness without them. Some think this is spoken of those who boast much of constant neatness about their houses, &c., which, at the same time, shows they carry on but little business. For where there is much business done, and many persons coming and going, there will necessarily be oftentimes less cleanliness and neatness.
Sometimes we can complain about a dirty church or dirty bathrooms or this or that. But if we never used the bathrooms in a church there would be no people.
Things break because here are people using them.
Having a sword that never gets dirty and being content in that opens a door for an apathetic heart and for a person that never wants to get his sword dirty or enter into battle
Touching people’s lives invades our lives and can be taxing at times and excuses can be made for this invasion of our lives
“Then Jesus answered and said: “A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’” Luke 10:30-35 NKJV
During the times of the Judges we read of Gods Children bound for over 20 years and God hears their cries and looks for help among them. Help was not coming from outside but from within
God speaks to a woman named Deborah and lays out a plan of action for deliverance
“When Ehud was dead, the children of Israel again did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor. The commander of his army was Sisera, who dwelt in Harosheth Hagoyim. And the children of Israel cried out to the Lord; for Jabin had nine hundred chariots of iron, and for twenty years he had harshly oppressed the children of Israel.” Judges 4:1-3 NKJV
God sought warriors to arise to bring deliverance to more than just themselves
“Then she sent and called for Barak the son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali, and said to him, “Has not the Lord God of Israel commanded, ‘Go and deploy troops at Mount Tabor; take with you ten thousand men of the sons of Naphtali and of the sons of Zebulun; and against you I will deploy Sisera, the commander of Jabin’s army, with his chariots and his multitude at the River Kishon; and I will deliver him into your hand’?” Judges 4:6-7 NKJV
“When leaders lead in Israel, When the people willingly offer themselves, Bless the Lord!”. Judges 5:2 NKJV
A leader must lead and people must follow
Deborah called on Zebulon and Naphtali
“Zebulun is a people who jeopardized their lives to the point of death, Naphtali also, on the heights of the battlefield.”Judges 5:18 NKJV
Prior to this verse we read some disturbing things about those who were settled in apathy and decided to stay away from the battle and turn a cheek to the true condition of their brothers
“And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; As Issachar, so was Barak Sent into the valley under his command; Among the divisions of Reuben There were great resolves of heart. Why did you sit among the sheepfolds, To hear the pipings for the flocks? The divisions of Reuben have great searchings of heart. Gilead stayed beyond the Jordan, And why did Dan remain on ships? Asher continued at the seashore, And stayed by his inlets.”. Judges 5:15-17 NKJV
This verse starts with commending Issachar as princes for their warrior likeness but doesn’t end there
Divisions-would be families or clans
It is a pity that the verse does not end here, for the next clause begins the description of “the malingerers,” whose cowardice or selfishness is triumphantly contrasted with the heroic daring of Zebulon and Naphtali
Malingerers are those who pretend or exaggerate incapacity or illness
Do you know someone who always seems to develop an excuse when there is work to be done ?
The love of ease enervates many a one who should be doing valiantly for the ‘Captain of his salvation.’ The men of Reuben cared more for their sheep than for their nation.
why did Dan remain in ships? the Danites inhabiting Joppa, and other places bordering on the Mediterranean sea, attended their navigation and merchandise; and which they chose rather to do, than to appear in the field of battle in the behalf of their brethren; judging this to be a sufficient excuse,
Asher continued on the sea shore; on the shore of the Mediterranean sea, attending traffic and business, and did not concern themselves at all in this war:
“When He rose up from prayer, and had come to His disciples, He found them sleeping from sorrow. Then He said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.” And while He was still speaking, behold, a multitude; and he who was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them and drew near to Jesus to kiss Him. But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?” Luke 22:45-48 NKJV
“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? Who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” Psalms 94:16 NKJV
“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30 NKJV
At Salvation you have entered into a battle and are training for war
Opposing forces seek to destroy but God raises His Church to display His glory
“to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,” Ephesians 3:10 NKJV
The church with all diversity of gifts and callings must come together in this last hour to place the jewel of a soul In the crown of the savior that the lamb of God lay receive the reward of His suffering
It’s time to enter the battle no matter how unpleasant or how much it messes up our schedule
Our lives must become a drink offering
“Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price.” I Corinthians 6:19-20

Choosing To Believe A Lie | 5.7.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
Choosing To Believe A Lie
Most people would not choose to believe a lie. The only reason that someone would choose to believe a lie is the truth is too difficult to agree with or comprehend. The problem is is the truth is the truth. The truth doesn’t change based on our emotions or feelings. Truth is truth.
“the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” John 3:19-21 NKJV
Jesus said people would choose to believe a lie because they did not want their unrepentant reality to be made known
John 14:6 Jesus said He is THE TRUTH!
Truth definition is “reality” or the reality of a situation!
“Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” John 18:37
So Messiah came into the world to bear witness of the worlds truth reality down idols that we put our trust in, to show us the reality of our situation and the reality of all men
What is the truth? What is mankind’s reality?
Remember John 18:37 said “everyone who is of the truth hears my voice”.
So those who hunger for truth will harken to the truth no matter how hard it is to swallow
Truth, our reality can be hard to swallow
Jesus first message publicly in Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus BEGAN to preach, saying, REPENT! For the kingdom of heaven is at hand
God becomes a man and His first public word to them is to tell them their reality
Their reality is they’re going down a wrong road and to change directions
Man is sinful
Sinful in rebellion against a Holy God therefore Romans 6:23 the truth says this sinful man will die an eternal death
God steps in
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:16-18 NKJV
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 NKJV
This statement was made from an eyewitness of the resurrection of Jesus
Truth our reality, mama reality is they sinful and in rebellion against the holy God, and they stand condemned under judicial law, and will spend an eternity separated from God in hell. The truth, the reality is that God loved the world and gave his son everyone that calls on the name of the lord shall be saved?
“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” John 8:24 NKJV
There is no salvation outside of Jesus! The Bible tells us that because the Jewish people rejected Jesus as Messiah and did not recognize the time of their visitation that they would be judged
“For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”. Luke 19:43-44 NKJV
Not necessarily Gods doing but because they rejected their only salvation that left an open door for the enemy
So it is with our souls if we reject Jesus Messiah, one day, the enemy will come and bring destruction to our lives, and our souls eternally
“Why do you call Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not practice what I tell you? Everyone who comes to Me and listens to My words and obeys them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a [far-sighted, practical, and sensible] man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and yet could not shake it, because it had been securely built and founded on the rock. But the one who has [merely] heard and has not practiced [what I say], is like a [foolish] man who built a house on the ground without any foundation, and the torrent burst against it; and it immediately collapsed, and the ruin of that house was great.” Luke 6:46-49 AMP

The Reward for His Suffering | 4.30.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
The Reward for His Suffering
“Now all the tax collectors and sinners [including non-observant Jews] were coming near Jesus to listen to Him. Both the Pharisees and the scribes began muttering and complaining, saying, “This man accepts and welcomes sinners and eats with them.” Luke 15:1-2 AMP
Luke 7:36-50. A sinful woman comes to Jesus and His response to her
How did Jesus treat sinners?
Woman caught in adultery John 8:1
Man healed after 38 years and Jesus says stop winning less something worse come upon you John 5:1
“And Jesus replied to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but [only] those who are sick. I did not come to call the [self-proclaimed] righteous [who see no need to repent], but sinners to repentance [to change their old way of thinking, to turn from sin and to seek God and His righteousness].” Luke 5:31-32 AMP
A hundred sheep- “What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost, [searching] until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he gets home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, because I have found my lost sheep!’ I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.” Luke 15:4-7 AMP
““Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins [each one equal to a day’s wages] and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls together her [women] friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, because I found the lost coin!’ In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents [that is, changes his inner self—his old way of thinking, regrets past sins, lives his life in a way that proves repentance; and seeks God’s purpose for his life].”. Luke 15:8-10 AMP
The Lord came to free sinners!
“She will give birth to a Son, and you shall name Him Jesus (The Lord is salvation), for He will save His people from their sins.”. Matthew 1:21 AMP
“But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 AMP
“And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” I John 2:2 NKJV
The Lords whole purpose for was fallen sinful humanity. Therefore our whole passion should be His
Our passion must become to see souls saved
It is a true story about two young men who lived long ago in another country who were so sold out to God, they sold themselves into slavery. They had heard of a place that slave-traders owned and worked the land by the hands of the natives who lived there. These evil traders would not allow missionaries anywhere near their slaves. So the two brave missionaries (incognito) sold themselves as lifetime slaves - to preach the gospel.
The young men were to travel on a ship to a small island where three thousand natives lived who had never heard the name of Jesus. Their lives were to be totally in God’s hands - they knew not what the future held. They could be shipwrecked or even killed by the natives upon arrival at the appointed destination. But it did not matter. The young men only knew that Jesus was worthy. Theirs was a mission of winning souls for heaven. The calling was in their hearts and there was no turning back. This was for the Glory of the Holy God.
All of their loved ones came to the harbor on that cold, dark cloudy day to see the boys off as they took voyage. Their families were crying and questioning the wisdom of this commitment. ‘Did God really require the very lives of their sons for His service? Was there not an easier, better way?’ The parents knew their young sons would never return for this was not a temporary arrangement, it was to be for the rest of their lives. Their Mother’s hearts were broken. Their Father’s were stoic and quiet - unable to speak for the large lumps in their throats. Pride burst in their hearts for their son’s dedication to the Lord yet they feared for the boys. The younger siblings were clinging to them in desperation, unable to let go. It was as if a funeral service was being held on the dock that day as the families clung to them for the very last time.
The boys themselves were a little apprehensive and very sad to leave their families - but very sure of their calling and the decision to willingly give their lives to the Living God. Without a tear shed, they boarded the ship waiving and smiling. Their hearts were lightened as the peace of God flooded them. This was God’s will for them both and they knew it, beyond a shadow of a doubt.
As the ship left the harbor the boys were still waiving furiously to their loved ones. It was recorded in history the words that one of them yelled across the ocean as the ship made her way. He said this:
“May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!”
Jesus Christ said: “He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.” Matthew 10:39 KJV.
These young men lost the lives they knew and loved with their families only to find their true lives in Christ and for the sake of the gospel. This is an expression of the lengths a person will go who is truly walking with Christ in every sense. It made me wonder; ‘what I am doing for the reward of His suffering? What are we all doing?’
The Apex of all Christian endeavor must become to place the jewel of a soul in the crown of our Savior that the Lamb of God may receive the reward of His suffering

Fear Brings Destruction | 4.23.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
Fear Brings Destruction
“For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me.”. Job 3:25 NKJV
Let’s find out about Job
Shunned evil -Job 1:1
Great possessions vs 2
God bragged on Job
“Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?” Job 1:8 NKJV
So God was bragging on Jobs convictions yet it seems Job had fear while living in the blessing!
Job said the thing that I feared has come upon me
So Job must have lived with the dread of losing this blessedness
Faith and trust in God is not only to be exercised for gaining ground but also maintaining ground.
The same God that got you there is the same God that will keep you there
Philippians 1:6 He that began a good work is faithful to complete it
Fear consumed Job so that he couldn’t fully enjoy the blessing
No doubt either demonically inspired to fear or Job's lack of trust opened the door for unbelief
Fear is lack of trusting God and then self trust will take over and always let us down
The fear Job had created the problem. Just as faith attracts the promise fear attracts what it’s focus is
Our words will most like communicate whether faith or fear is in operation
Proverbs 23:7. As one thinks in his heart so is he
Proverbs 18:21 life and death are in the power of the tongue
Is it possible Job was living in fear and communicating with his mouth those fears to where he would say, “and what I dreaded has happened to me”?
Believing destroys fear! Fear attacks Gods integrity
Isaiah 7:1
Vs 4. Take heed and be quiet and do not fear
Vs 9 if you will not believe surely you shall not be established
‘If ye will not believe the words of the prophet, ye shall not remain.’ It is probable that Ahaz, who was greatly alarmed, and who trembled at the formidable power of Syria and Israel united, received the annunciation of the prophet with much distrust. He was anxious about the means of defense, but did not trust in the promise of God by the prophet. Isaiah, therefore, assures him, that if he did not believe him; if he did not put confidence in God, and his promises, he should not be protected from Syria and Ephraim. They would come and destroy his kingdom. 'You have no occasion,' is the language of the prophet, 'to fear. God has resolved to protect you, and no portion of your land shall be taken by your enemies. Nevertheless, in order that you may obtain deliverance, you must believe his promise, and put your confidence in him, and not in the aid of the Assyrians. If you do this, your mind shall be calm, peaceful, and happy. But if you do “not” do this; if you rely on the aid of Assyria, you shall be troubled, alarmed, unsuccessful, and bring ruin upon yourself and nation.' This, therefore, is an exhortation to confide solely in the promises of God, and is one of the instances constantly occurring in the Old Testament and the New, showing, that by faith or confidence in God only, can the mind he preserved calm when in the midst of dangers.

Tragedy After Victory | 4.12.23 | Wednesday | On Fire Christian Church
Tragedy after Victory
After 40 years of wondering in the wilderness after being enslaved for over 400 years the children of Israel were going into the promised land. Jericho was holding them back from victory and so they by faith followed God to the letter and saw the walls of Jericho come tumbling down.
Instructions given to Israel upon taking Jericho!
“Now the city shall be doomed by the Lord to destruction, it and all who are in it. Only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent. And you, by all means abstain from the accursed things, lest you become accursed when you take of the accursed things, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it. But all the silver and gold, and vessels of bronze and iron, are consecrated to the Lord; they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.” Joshua 6:17-19 NKJV
Obedience was required to walk in victory! And at Jericho it was a great victory!
Ai was there next quest!
Chapter 7 starts out with the sin of Israel
“But the children of Israel committed a trespass regarding the accursed things, for Achan the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed things; so the anger of the Lord burned against the children of Israel.” Joshua 7:1 NKJV
They had spied out the land but did not think to spy out tents among them
Many times our own failures lie within our own hearts
Ask questions
They put confidence in the flesh, in a past victory in their own ability. It seemed like an easy land to conquer.
The men were few they said let’s just take 3000. Whether they took the whole army they would have lost. God was not with them
Disobedience brought destruction
“And the men of Ai struck down about thirty-six men, for they chased them from before the gate as far as Shebarim, and struck them down on the descent; therefore the hearts of the people melted and became like water.” Joshua 7:5 NKJV
Sin had caused a breach
“So the Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face? Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff. Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they have become doomed to destruction. Neither will I be with you anymore, unless you destroy the accursed from among you.” Joshua 7:10-12 NKJV
the remedy is not in prayer, but in active steps to cast out ‘the unclean thing.
The first three sins of the six, point out how wicked in reference to God, as sin, as a breach of covenant, and as an appropriation of what was specially His. The second three describe it in terms of ordinary morality, as theft, lying, and concealment; so many black sides has one sin when God’s eye scrutinises it.
“So the Lord said to Joshua: “Get up! Why do you lie thus on your face? Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff.” Joshua 7:10-11 N
The offender brought forward
Joshua 7:16
“And Joshua said, “Why have you troubled us? The Lord will trouble you this day.” So all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.” Joshua 7:25 NKJV
Open heaven once again for victory
“Now the Lord said to Joshua: “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; take all the people of war with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land.” Joshua 8:1 NKJV
Curses for disobedience
Deuteronomy 28:15
“So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.” I Samuel 15:22-23 NKJV

The King Shows Up | 4.2.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
The King Shows Up
Last week was two weeks outside of Passover! We looked at what Jesus preached prior to Passover during this same time period
“Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”. Luke 17:20-21 NKJV
The Kingdom is within and the King is looking for a changed heart
Now we are one week outside of a Passover. What was the message two thousand years ago that Jesus preached one week outside of Passover?
“Then He took the twelve aside and said to them, “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man will be accomplished. For He will be delivered to the Gentiles and will be mocked and insulted and spit upon. They will scourge Him and kill Him. And the third day He will rise again.” But they understood none of these things; this saying was hidden from them, and they did not know the things which were spoken.”. Luke 18:31-34 NKJV
Triumphal entry. Luke 19:28
Baruk Haba Beshem Adonai
The King shows up
“Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes. For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.” Luke 19:41-44 NKJV
Judgment fell and will fall ton all who do not heed the voice of Messiah
First thing Jesus does as He shows up In Jerusalem
Cleansing of the temple
Two weeks prior to Passover Jesus is letting us know His Kingdom is not only physical but first spiritual and to be received inwardly
One week prior to Passover He is being hailed as Messiah and comes in to deal with the sin within His temple and then the rest of the week Jesus is giving parable after parable about being ready for His return
So without saying it publicly He was declaring that He would be leaving and we are to be watching for His return
“In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:2-3 NKJV
Mathew 21 records His entry into Jerusalem and then his cleansing of temple and then one by one He attacks the religious system that has grown corrupt
Matthew 21:28-32. Parable of two sons
Vs 33 wicked vinedressers Kingdom taken from you
Matthew 22. Message to those invited to wedding but made light of it
Matt 23 the rebuke of Scribes and Pharisees
Matt 14 destruction of temple
The message switches for people to be prepared
Matt 25 ten virgins
Vs 14 parable of talents the settling of accounts
Vs 31 Jesus judge of nations
IMPORTANCE OF WATCHING. “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:34-36 NKJV
This was Christs message prior to Passover when He would be sacrificed. His last words so to speak! Be ready! Then He was offered and fulfilled Passover. Next He says be ready because the trumpet will be blown!

The Judgment upon the Wicked | 3.26.23 | Sunday | On Fire Christian Church
The Judgment upon the Wicked
The coming of the kingdom of God is preluded by the destruction of the wicked. All things that cause sin and bow to it will be destroyed prior to the kingdom of God manifesting
Rev 19:11-21 Jesus comes back and judges the wicked rulers
“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” Revelation 22:14-15 NKJV
“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?” II Peter 3:10-12 NKJV
“Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste, Distorts its surface And scatters abroad its inhabitants. And it shall be: As with the people, so with the priest; As with the servant, so with his master; As with the maid, so with her mistress; As with the buyer, so with the seller; As with the lender, so with the borrower; As with the creditor, so with the debtor. The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the Lord has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish. The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, Because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, Broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, And those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, And few men are left.”. Isaiah 24:1-6 NKJV
“The earth is violently broken, The earth is split open, The earth is shaken exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again. It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth. They will be gathered together, As prisoners are gathered in the pit, And will be shut up in the prison; After many days they will be punished. Then the moon will be disgraced And the sun ashamed; For the Lord of hosts will reign On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem And before His elders, gloriously.”. Isaiah 24:19-23 NKJV
““Therefore wait for Me,” says the Lord, “Until the day I rise up for plunder; My determination is to gather the nations To My assembly of kingdoms, To pour on them My indignation, All My fierce anger; All the earth shall be devoured With the fire of My jealousy.” Zephaniah 3:8 NKJV
Jesus being led to Golgotha said this!
“Now as they led Him away, they laid hold of a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, and on him they laid the cross that he might bear it after Jesus. And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him. But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!’ Then they will begin ‘to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!” ’ For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?”. Luke 23:26-31 NKJV
“I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” Revelation 6:12-17 NKJV
Have hope as a believer. Christ will judge the evil of our day and our responsibility is to stay free from this wicked system of thought!
This world is headed toward judgement first then a kingdom of righteousness
One world government prophecy
The Bible does not use the phrase “one-world government” or “one-world currency” in referring to the end times. It does, however, provide ample evidence to enable us to draw the conclusion that both will exist under the rule of the Antichrist in the last days.
In his apocalyptic vision in the Book of Revelation, the Apostle John sees the “beast,” also called the Antichrist, rising out of the sea having seven heads and ten horns (Revelation 13:1). Combining this vision with Daniel’s similar one (Daniel 7:16-24), we can conclude that some sort of world system will be inaugurated by the beast, the most powerful “horn,” who will defeat the other nine and will begin to wage war against Christians. The ten-nation confederacy is also seen in Daniel’s image of the statue in Daniel 2:41-42, where he pictures the final world government consisting of ten entities represented by the ten toes of the statue. Whoever the ten are and however they come to power, Scripture is clear that the beast will either destroy them or reduce their power to nothing more than figureheads. In the end, they will do his bidding.
John goes on to describe the ruler of this vast empire as having power and great authority, given to him by Satan himself (Revelation 13:2), being followed by and receiving worship from “all the world” (13:3-4), and having authority over “every tribe, people, language and nation” (13:7). From this description, it is logical to assume that this person is the leader of a one-world government which is recognized as sovereign over all other governments. It’s hard to imagine how such diverse systems of government as are in power today would willingly subjugate themselves to a single ruler, and there are many theories on the subject. A logical conclusion is that the disasters and plagues described in Revelation as the seal and trumpet judgments (chapters 6-11) will be so devastating and create such a monumental global crisis that people will embrace anything and anyone who promises to give them relief.
Once entrenched in power, the beast (Antichrist) and the power behind him (Satan) will move to establish absolute control over all peoples of the earth to accomplish their true end, the worship Satan has been seeking ever since being thrown out of heaven (Isaiah 14:12-14). One way they will accomplish this is by controlling all commerce, and this is where the idea of a one-world currency comes in. Revelation 13:16-17 describes some sort of satanic mark which will be required in order to buy and sell. This means anyone who refuses the mark will be unable to buy food, clothing or other necessities of life. No doubt the vast majority of people in the world will succumb to the mark simply to survive. Again, verse 16 makes it clear that this will be a universal system of control where everyone, rich and poor, great and small, will bear the mark on their hand or forehead. There is a great deal of speculation as to how exactly this mark will be affixed, but the technologies that are available right now could accomplish it very easily.
Those who are left behind after the Rapture of the Church will be faced with an excruciating choice—accept the mark of the beast in order to survive or face starvation and horrific persecution by the Antichrist and his followers. But those who come to Christ during this time, those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life (Revelation 13:8), will choose to endure, even to martyrdom.
“He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.” Revelation 13:15-18 NKJV

“Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” Revelation 22:14-15 NKJV
“He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”. Revelation 22:20 NKJV

The Coming Kingdom
2000 years ago during Passover the King of creation was approaching the city of David, Jerusalem! Today we are two weeks out from Passover. Jesus fulfilled the Feast of Unleavened Bread, Passover, and First Fruits through His Holy life and His death, burial, and resurrection! Two weeks prior to Jesus’ coming to Jerusalem He was preaching about a coming kingdom
It’s in the spirit and it’s in you
2000 years ago God made Himself man and rode into the City of David where prophets said Messiah would come and establish a kingdom. Jesus came and men didn’t recognize His purpose was first to take away so and establish a kingdom within the heart of man prior to an earthly kingdom
We know His Kingdom was to be forever
“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV
Jesus talks of a coming kingdom but says to not look for an external kingdom here or there but within
As it was in the Days of Noah
he foretold the stupidity of the generation he should come to destroy, comparing it to that of the old world, about the time of the flood; who, being wholly unaffected with the admonitions which Noah gave them, while building the ark, and with the threatenings which he then denounced, went on as usual, following their ordinary occupations, and pursuing their pleasures, both lawful and unlawful, in great security.
As it was in the days of Lot
God destroyed Sodom on account of its great wickedness. He took vengeance on it for its sins; and the example of Sodom is set before people to deter them from committing great transgressions, and as a “full proof” that God will punish the guilty
“as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” Jude 1:7 NKJV
One day Messiah will return and take His beloved bride out to the way of judgment. He will judge the earth and the bride will return with Him in righteousness, He will then rule the nations as King
What was Jesus telling His disciples to do two weeks prior to Passover?
Prepare for the coming kingdom! Our hearts for His culture, a Jesus culture.
On the very day Noah and Lot were taken out of the way, Judgment came ON THOSE WHO WERE CONNECTED STILL TO THIS WORLD WITH THEIR AFFECTIONS AND PASSIONS TIED TO IT

Everything Can Change in 24 Hours
God has proven in times past to turn impossible circumstances around
“And it happened after this that Ben-Hadad king of Syria gathered all his army, and went up and besieged Samaria. And there was a great famine in Samaria; 2 Kings 6:24
King of Israel didn’t believe and sends men to Elisha to kill him vs 30
Ch 7. Elisha gives a prophetic word
TOMORROW!!!!!!!!
24 hours can make all the difference
The miracle needed could not be generated by man. They needed God to intervene
“You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” II Chronicles 20:17 NKJV
“Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.” Psalms 108:12-13 NKJV
“A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.” Psalms 33:17-20 NKJV
“The horse is prepared for the day of battle, But deliverance is of the Lord.” Proverbs 21:31
2 Kings 7:6. The Lord caused the enemy to hear the noise of chariots
“For the Lord had caused the army of the Syrians to hear the noise of chariots and the noise of horses—the noise of a great army; so they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites and the kings of the Egyptians to attack us!” Therefore they arose and fled at twilight, and left the camp intact—their tents, their horses, and their donkeys—and they fled for their lives. And when these lepers came to the outskirts of the camp, they went into one tent and ate and drank, and carried from it silver and gold and clothing, and went and hid them; then they came back and entered another tent, and carried some from there also, and went and hid it. Then they said to one another, “We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us. Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the king’s household.” II Kings 7:6-9 NKJV
“So it happened just as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, “Two seahs of barley for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, shall be sold tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria.” Then that officer had answered the man of God, and said, “Now look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he had said, “In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.” And so it happened to him, for the people trampled him in the gate, and he died.” II Kings 7:18-20 NKJV

Faith never quits
2 kings 13:14. Strike the ground
“Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped.” II Kings 13:18 NKJV
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 NKJV
Faith is rewarded
If we move in faith God is glorified. If we do not God is robbed.
Faith is the capacity to BELIEVE a promise of God
Philippians 4:19 supply
Faith never quits no matter the circumstances
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.”. Hebrews 6:10-15 NKJV
“By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were encircled for seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab did not perish with those who did not believe, when she had received the spies with peace.” Hebrews 11:30-31 NKJV
“who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented — of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth. And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.” Hebrews 11:33-40 NKJV

The Last Days
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” II Timothy 3:1-5
Description of what it will be like in the last days prior to the end of the age Or the dispensation of grace
End of grace age will be succeeded by Christs reign in righteousness
“Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” Revelation 11:15 ESV
“And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.” Daniel 7:14 ESV
“And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed, nor shall the kingdom be left to another people. It shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and bring them to an end, and it shall stand forever,”. Daniel 2:44 ESV
“and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:6 ESV
Birth pains of events will trigger signs of when will Jesus Kingdom be
“And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.” Matthew 24:4-8 ESV
Birth pains-like birth pains at child bearing will grow closer together to allow the baby to position itself into the birth canal
“that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.”. Romans 8:21-23 ESV
As the time of delivery draws near, birth pangs always increase in both intensity and frequency. Therefore, the creation itself would travail with increased frequency as the time of delivery draws near.
The speeding up of time or shortening of days
“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.” Matthew 24:21-22 ESV
““Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.”. Matthew 24:29 ESV
This is the climax of shortened time but most likely it will have begun and are we seeing it now to some extent?
““And on that day,” declares the Lord God, “I will make the sun go down at noon and darken the earth in broad daylight.” Amos 8:9 ESV
Daniel 12:4 tells us that the time of revealing we will see knowledge increase
Revelation 11:14 says the third woe is coming quickly. The speeding up of things
“Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.” Revelation 11:15 ESV
God's kingdom is a Holy Ghost takeover. First the heart of man and then to receive the world back to himself. Thy Kingdom come on earth!
The devil is not just gonna lie back and let it happen. Through history we have seen the devil opposing.
Could we be on the horizon of the last Passover or the last Purim?
Hebrews in bondage to Egypt for 430
“Now the sojourn of the children of Israel who lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years. And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years—on that very same day—it came to pass that all the armies of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. It is a night of solemn observance to the Lord for bringing them out of the land of Egypt. This is that night of the Lord, a solemn observance for all the children of Israel throughout their generations.” Exodus 12:40-42 NKJV

A quote by one of the “architects” of the European Union. Back in the 1970’s the Belgian Prime Minister said, “What we want is a man … to lift us out of the economic morass into which we are sinking. Send us such a man, and be he god or devil, we will receive him.” When the audience in the sanctuary heard this, There was an audible gasp!

Purim 2023 | 3.8.23 | Wednesday | On Fire Christian Church
Purim 2023
Purim means “lots” in ancient Persian. The holiday was thus named since Haman had thrown lots to determine when he would carry out his diabolical scheme. It is a celebration of the very fact that the world is not run by random chance. Calling the holiday Purimreminds the Jewish people that even when events appear to be happening at random, such as in a lottery, G-d is still the ultimate controller of fate
What is Purim? It is the deliverance of Gods people from wicked Haman who wanted to see the complete eradication of the jewish people. God steps in and completely reverses what wicked Haman tried to do to the Jews.
In the spiritual, the plots that Satan has for Gods people will always be turned around and the enemy will always see a reversal of his plans
King Xerxes/Persian King/Iran
Has his Queen banished looks for a new Queen finds Esther a Jew
Mordicai her Uncle discovers a plot by some in the kings circle to assassinate the King and reveals it to his niece Esther who tells the King. The men are killed
Haman is the Kings right hand man and hates Mordicai because he does not fear him or bow to him. Finds out who is people are, the Jews and seeks Mordecai’s death and his people.
Esther still has not revealed who her people are to the king
Haman talk to king and lies on Jewish people and convinces king to have them killed
Has a gallo built 70 feet high to hang Mordicai on it
Haman goes to see king about hanging Mordicai and king hasn’t been able to sleep /reads in book about Mordicai deliverance and wants to reward him

Esther 9. Enemies plans were thwarted and the opposite happened
Esther 9:7 Haman 10 sons killed
Esther 9:13 do it again tomorrow 10 sons?
Purim is a consistent reminder of our need for deliverance from our enemies
The Jewish people consistently see the Hamans trying to see their destruction
Adolf Hitler "It is true we are barbarians. It is an honourable title to us. I am freeing humanity from a false vision called conscience and morality. The plot of the adversary exposed and turned on his own head
God will never let the devil outperform Him
On the beginning of Purim 2023 we see the exposure of the January 6th so called insurrection
Hitler was losing his grip until economic collapse in 1929 and an unstable political climate and Nazi grew. Jan 1933 Hitler appointed as chancellor one month later Nazi claimed a fire was started in a political building by communists planning an insurrection. Hitler used this fear to abolish constitutional protections. Shortly after Hitler was given right to govern with having to go through parliament. Now he was a dictator.
Again Hitler used propaganda to push his narrative and made those who would comply with them to wear star of david
Nuremberg laws- institutionalized the persecution of Jews
Hatred toward morality
The future still holds another Purim. God will deliver his people.
“And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.”Revelation 19:19-20 NKJV
“Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”. Revelation 20:7-10 NKJV

Kiss the Son Lest He Be Angry | 2.26.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
Kiss the Son Lest He Be Angry
“Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’? Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” says the Lord.” Jeremiah 7:9-11
There is a shift coming! The shift will focus on the holiness of the Lord! People will writhe over their sin! This revival will be as a John the Baptist cry!
“In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” Matthew 3:1-2 NKJV
John’s message was that of Isaiah the prophet, “Prepare the way of the Lord”
Sin cannot be treated lightly
“If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:29-30 NKJV
Sins ability to destroy Gods plan. Cannot be treated lightly because of its ability to completely destroy. We cannot wink at sin
“For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil; But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death, Her steps lay hold of hell.” Proverbs 5:3-5 NKJV
“Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, Do not stray into her paths; For she has cast down many wounded, And all who were slain by her were strong men. Her house is the way to hell, Descending to the chambers of death.” Proverbs 7:25-27 NKJV
Jeremiah spoke to a people coming into the house of the Lord! John the Baptist was speaking to any who would hear, repent! Prepare!
“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:” Hebrews 12:14 NKJV
“You shall also make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it, like the engraving of a signet: HOLINESS TO THE LORD. And you shall put it on a blue cord, that it may be on the turban; it shall be on the front of the turban. So it shall be on Aaron’s forehead,” Exodus 28:36NKJV
“In that day “HOLINESS TO THE LORD” shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in the Lord’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar. Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and Judah shall be holiness to the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 14:20-21
“A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it.” Isaiah 35:8 NKJV
A pure repentant humble heart will not be ignored
“He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13 NKJV
The Father has committed all judgment to the Son
“For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.” John 5:22-23 NKJV
Knowing Jesus is the judge all should come to Him in humility
“Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.” Psalms 2:12 NKJV
Kiss the Son - pay homage and adoration.
Lest you perish in the way-if you do not submit to the Son and cherish His instructions you will leave the right way
John 8:24 “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”
When is wrath is kindled but a little- The least degree of his anger is very terrible,
Or For his wrath will be kindled shortly, or suddenly. His patience will not last always, but will shortly be turned into fury; and, therefore, take heed that you neither deny nor delay to be subject to him; but speedily comply with his offers before it be too late
Do not think you are safe while living in sin
Example: Lonnie Frisbee scandal while in ministry
1 John 1:5 through chapters 2 and 3
“And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight— if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.” Colossians 1:21-23 NKJV

Wind of God | 2.19.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
Wind of God
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 NKJV
The Wind's intent is to create a Holy Witness in the earth
“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.” Acts 2:2 NKJV
There is purpose in the wind coming!
The wind has a message
Acts 2:40 be saved from this perverse generation
The Breath of God/The Wind or whirlwind of God
“The Lord has His way In the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet.” Nahum 1:3 NKJV
“And He rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew upon the wings of the wind.” Psalms 18:10 NKJV
“He causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain; He brings the wind out of His treasuries.” Psalms 135:7 NKJV
The breath and wind of God is to be feared.
“He caused an east wind to blow in the heavens; And by His power He brought in the south wind. He also rained meat on them like the dust, Feathered fowl like the sand of the seas; And He let them fall in the midst of their camp, All around their dwellings. So they ate and were well filled, For He gave them their own desire. They were not deprived of their craving; But while their food was still in their mouths, The wrath of God came against them, And slew the stoutest of them, And struck down the choice men of Israel. In spite of this they still sinned, And did not believe in His wondrous works. Therefore their days He consumed in futility, And their years in fear. When He slew them, then they sought Him; And they returned and sought earnestly for God. Then they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God their Redeemer. Nevertheless they flattered Him with their mouth, And they lied to Him with their tongue; For their heart was not steadfast with Him, Nor were they faithful in His covenant.” Psalms 78:26-37 NKJV
“Therefore thus says the Lord God: “I will cause a stormy wind to break forth in My fury; and there shall be a flooding rain in My anger, and great hailstones in fury to consume it. So I will break down the wall you have plastered with untempered mortar, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered; it will fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. “Thus will I accomplish My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it with untempered mortar; and I will say to you, ‘The wall is no more, nor those who plastered it, that is, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace,’ ” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 13:13-16 NKJV
The wind of God demands a transformed life and will judge those who hang around and refuse to change
2 Samuel 6:1 Uzzah reached out and God judged him
Ananias and Sapphire judged
Acts 5:11 and great fear fell upon the church
Wind will accomplish its task
“But the Lord sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a mighty tempest on the sea, so that the ship was about to be broken up.” Jonah 1:4 NKJV
The wind caused even the heathen to recognize there was a false prophet in the boat.
They threw him overboard
Judgment begins with the house of God. 1Timothy 4:17
“And it happened, when the sun arose, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat on Jonah’s head, so that he grew faint. Then he wished death for himself, and said, “It is better for me to die than to live.” Then God said to Jonah, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?” And he said, “It is right for me to be angry, even to death!” But the Lord said, “You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock?” Jonah 4:8-11 NKJV
God will shift the winds to His purpose and even turn the winds against us which in turn will purify Himself a church without spot or wrinkle

Abounding Grace
1. God has called the believer to live and to see In The supernatural! If the believers looks in the natural he will see devastating circumstances!

Having a school that creates a safe and supportive learning environment for all students and having caring and accepting parents are especially important. Positive environments can help all youth achieve good grades and maintain good mental and physical …

e. Church-A 2021 study from Lifeway Research, based on data from three-dozen denominations, found that 4,500 churches closed in 2019, while only 3,000 were started.
i. Life coaches instead of preachers
ii. “There are approximately 364,000 churches in America: 72 percent, or 264,000 of them, are “liberal,” meaning that they really don’t care about the Bible. According to exhaustive surveys, somewhere between 6,000 and 15,000 actually have a bona fide biblical worldview, that is, they see life through the lens of Scripture.” Did you catch that? Nearly 72 percent of churches don’t look to the Bible as their final source of authority and direction. No wonder America is crumbling from within; the foundation is deteriorating.
2. “Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,” Romans 5:20 NKJV
a. The true condition of not only our culture and where it’s heading but the spiritual condition of the heart of man
b. We are in bad shape but God gives us Hope!
c. “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 5:12-21 NKJV
3. Where sin Abounded-The word “abounded” that Paul uses to describe this abundance of sin comes from the Greek word, pleonadzo, which simply means more. It denotes something that exists in abundance. The Greek tense describes an abundance that is growing larger and more expansive with the passing of time. The implication is that sin is never stagnant but continually grows, increases, and expands. This means Romans 5:20 could be translated, “Where sin exists in abundance and is multiplying and constantly expanding….” This describes the growing nature of unrestrained sin.
a. grace did much more abound.” The words “much more abound” are from the Greek word huperperisseo, which describes something that is growing out of measure, beyond proportion, and out of its banks to a far-stretched extreme. It is like a giant river that is being flooded with waters from upstream. Those waters are coming downstream so fast that the river can no longer hold the raging current in its banks. Its water rises, rises, and rises until it finally begins pouring out of its banks and begins to flood everything in sight. This is exactly the idea of the word Paul uses when he says, “…Grace did much more abound.”
b. A Russian Theologian that I read said it like this. “For wherever sin exists in abundance and is multiplying and constantly expanding, that is precisely the time and place where grace is poured out in a far greater, surpassing quantity.”
4. God’s abounding grace supersedes anything the devil can throw our way. God says to us today not to fear the economy or the educational systems or the government or the failure of churches or the escalation of immortality in the culture. What I’m about to do is to pour out my grace in a greater measure
a. You will find that God is supplying more than enough grace to match whatever the enemy is trying to do. If you will surrender to that divine grace, it will rise higher and higher until it eventually floods every area in your life.
b. God magnified the story of Joseph to me this week
c. Joseph was not effected by the famine. Nor will we
5. Abounding grace in operation
a. “So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19 NKJV
b. The greatest outpouring is coming

He Lifts Us Up, Not Kicks Us Down | 2.5.23 | Sunday AM | On Fire Christian Church
He lifts us up, not kicks us down
“Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles. He will not quarrel nor cry out, Nor will anyone hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed He will not break, And smoking flax He will not quench, Till He sends forth justice to victory; And in His name Gentiles will trust.”Matthew 12:18-21 - Isaiah
Reed- have hollow stems-A bruised, broken reed is an emblem of the poor and oppressed. It means that he would not oppress the feeble and poor, as victorious warriors and conquerors did. It is also an expressive emblem of the soul broken and contrite on account of sin; weeping and mourning for transgression. He will not break it; that is, he will not be severe, unforgiving, and cruel. He will heal it, pardon it, and give it strength.
Smoking flax-This refers to the wick of a lamp when the oil is exhausted - the dying, flickering flame and smoke that hang over it. It is an emblem, also, of feebleness and infirmity. He would not further oppress those who had a little strength; he would not put out hope and life when it seemed to be almost extinct. He would not be like the Pharisees, proud and overbearing, and trampling down the poor. It is expressive, also, of the languishing graces of the people of God. He will not treat them harshly or unkindly, but will cherish the feeble flame, minister the “oil” of grace, and kindle it into a blaze.
All mankind is broken because of sin and Jesus came to fix our brokenness
Understanding the person of Messiah is necessary to form a relationship with Him
Distorted views of Messiah are caused by our own understanding and religious worldviews rather than revelation of Messiah given by the Holy Spirit
Thinking God is always mad at me is destructive and gives no hope
Holy Spirit helps illuminate Messiah to our person. His Word is the foundation and the Breath of God upon His Word is what illuminates His reality to us
Prayer and His Word are necessary for illumination
John 14:15-26
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”John 14:26 NKJV
““But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.” John 15:26 NKJV
What is Messiah like?
For me- Mercy first, then love, then faithfulness
A Bruised reed Messiah will not break
He will not be sever, cruel etc
Psalm 103:10-18 He does not treat us as our sins deserve
How does he handle woman caught in adultery?
Smoking flax-barely hanging on ready to give up from the load
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”Matthew 11:28-30
Luke 18:10 tax collector
““I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.” Isaiah 43:25 NKJV
Old Testament revealing of Gods person and how He would act
“Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.” Exodus 34:5-7 NKJV
Isaiah 6:1-7 woe is me. God was out for Isaiah good not destruction
