Super Mario Bros [NES] Castle Theme Bass Tapping Cover
Castle Theme from the original Super Mario Bros. on NES covered on bass by tapping both parts simultaneously. I captured some game play on an NES classic and tried to play along side it.

[Victor Wooten] Classical Thump Bass Cover
Classical Thump is written by Victor Wooten off his album "A Show of Hands". This is definitely the most challenging cover that I have done so far. I practiced this for thirty minutes a day for several months and am pleased with the end result. I've started and stopped learning this one more than once in the past, but this time I stuck with it and finally got it down! [Victor Wooten] A Show of Hands Bass Cover
A Show of Hands written by Victor Wooten and covered by me. This song isn't as popular as some of Victor Wooten's other work, but to me it is one of if not my favorite tunes he has composed. It took a lot of work to get this one down, but it was definitely worth it in the end!

Super Metroid Solo Bass Tapping Cover [Brinstar Red Soil]
A classic song from Super Metroid (Lower Brinstar Red Soil) that I covered by tapping the melody and bass part simultaneously. I added a little bit of reverb and an echo effect to help match the atmosphere of the game.

Bass Guitar Tapping [Original Composition]
This is an original bass piece that I composed a couple of years ago and recently decided to record. This song was inspired by "More Love" written by Victor Wooten that I also covered a few years ago. Most of this song is played by tapping with both hands. I hope you enjoy it and please subscribe and leave a comment if you did!

[Victor Wooten] Sex in a Pan Bass Cover [Free Tabs! (link in description)]
A video of myself covering the bass part of "Sex in a Pan". This one is off of the album Flight of the Cosmic Hippo by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. This was probably the least difficult to learn of all of the bass parts I've covered by Victor Wooten. It is super fun to play and has a nice groove to it. Hope you enjoy!

[Victor Wooten] Sometimes I Laugh Bass Cover
A bass cover of Sometimes I Laugh written by Victor Wooten. I love the use of harmonics in this song and it shows that the bass guitar can also work as a solo instrument. [Victor Wooten] More Love Bass Cover
A bass cover of the song More Love written by Victor Wooten off of the album A Show of Hands. This is one of my personal favorite Victor tunes to listen to and often find the melody stuck in my head for several days at a time. This is one of the first videos that I have made and it is far from perfect but I think you may still enjoy it. I have many other Victor Wooten covers on my channel if you liked this one and have more on the way so be sure to subscribe if you want to see more like this!

Fast Slap Original Bass Song [Bounce Slap Technique]
This is an original song that I wrote on the bass guitar that I perform by using a fast bounce slap technique. I learned this technique by improperly learning Victor Wooten's bass solo in The Sinister Minister because I was too stubborn at the time to start from scratch and learn the proper double thumbing technique. (I finally learned it like 5 years later) I also wrote this song in high school, so I wouldn't consider it my greatest creation but I think you may still enjoy it. I have more originals on my channel and more on the way so subscribe if you want to see more videos like this!

[Victor Wooten] Sinister Minister Bass Solo Cover (Without Double Thumbing)
A short video of myself covering Victor Wooten's bass solo in Sinister Minister by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. I learned this song years ago and at the time had no idea how to do the double thumbing technique that Victor Wooten uses when he performs this song. So instead I've developed a fast bounce that allows me to get the same point across. This "bounce" slapping felt like I made this song (or at least solo) my own in a way and decided to use it for this video. I originally learned this one in high school and spent an entire summer vacation practicing up to 8 hours a day to learn it. I would practice until my thumb would bleed, then I'd slap on a band aid and keep going. Bass is still my passion, but I don't know if I could ever match the drive I used to have. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy! Any comments are appreciated and don't forget to subscribe as I plan on making many more videos!
