The importance of role models
Role models are just as important for adults as they are for kids. Having someone to look up to and aspire to be like can be the motivation we need to stay on track and achieve our goals.
It’s important to find role models who can inspire you to be your best self. These people don’t have to be famous or well-known, but they should be someone you admire and respect.
Take some time to think about who your role models are and why you admire them. Then, make a conscious effort to follow their example in your own life. You may be surprised at how much of a difference it makes.

An introduction to intermittent fasting
Intermittent fasting is an eating pattern where you cycle between periods of fasting and eating. It can help you lose weight, improve your metabolism, and even help you live longer! There are a lot of different ways to do intermittent fasting, but the most common is the 16/8 method. This involves fasting for 16 hours each day and eating all your meals within an 8-hour window. You can adjust the fasting and eating windows to fit your schedule, but I find that the 16/8 method is the easiest to stick to. If you're interested in trying intermittent fasting, I highly recommend it! Just be sure to do your research and talk to your doctor before starting, to make sure it's the right fit for you.

Focus on Sleep for Better Health
We all know how important sleep is, but sometimes it can be hard to prioritize it. Life gets busy and we often end up sacrificing sleep in order to get everything else done. But it’s important to remember that sleep is crucial for our health and well-being.
There are a few simple things you can do to make sure you get enough sleep. First, try to go to bed and wake up at the same time each day. This will help to regulate your body’s natural sleep rhythm. Secondly, create a relaxing bedtime routine that will help you wind down and prepare for sleep. This could involve taking a warm bath, reading a book, or doing some gentle stretching.
Finally, make sure your bedroom is conducive to sleep. This means keeping it dark, quiet, and cool. If you can create an environment that is conducive to sleep, you’ll be much more likely to get the rest you need.

Kids, Family and Technology
In the past, families would gather around the television to watch their favorite shows together or play board games. With technology, families are now able to connect with each other in new ways or not connect at all.
Dangers of body dismorphia in men
Body dismorphia affects both men and women, although it is more commonly diagnosed in women. It is estimated that 1 in 100 people suffer from dismorphia, and that the disorder is equally common among men and women.
Dismorphia can have a devastating effect on a person's life, leading to social isolation, anxiety, depression, and even suicide. The disorder is often misunderstood, and sufferers may be reluctant to seek help because they fear being ridiculed or disbelieved.
If you are a man suffering from dismorphia, know that you are not alone. There is help available, and you can get better.

The importance of quality time with your kids
When you're present with your children, you're able to truly connect with them. You're not thinking about the past or worrying about the future. You're simply in the moment, and that can be very calming and grounding.
Not only that, but you're also able to model mindfulness for your children. They see you being present and focused, and they learn that it's possible to be calm and happy even in the midst of chaos.
So next time you're spending time with your kids, make a conscious effort to be present. You may be surprised at how much more enjoyable the experience is for both of you.
How to build the perfect body
There's no doubt that society today is obsessed with having the perfect body. Just turn on the TV, open up a magazine, or scroll through your Instagram feed and you'll see countless images of "perfect" bodies staring back at you. This obsession has led to people going to extreme lengths to try and achieve this ideal, whether that's through dieting, surgery, or excessive exercise.
The thing is, this ideal is completely unrealistic. The vast majority of people will never have a body that looks like the ones they see in the media. And that's OK! Every body is different and unique, and there's beauty in that.
Unfortunately, this obsession with perfection can lead to all sorts of negative consequences, like eating disorders, body dysmorphia, and low self-esteem. So let's all try to remember that there's no such thing as a perfect body, and that we're all beautiful just the way we are.
How to control what you can to combat worry
One of the most effective ways to combat worry is to learn what you can control and then take control over those things. When you feel like you're in control of your life, you're less likely to worry about things that are out of your control.
Once you've identified the things that you can control, it's important to take action. Make a plan to control the things that you can, and then let go of the things that you can't. This will help you to feel more in control of your life and less worried about the things that are out of your control.
Density training with body weight circuit
If you're looking for a workout that will help you build strength and power, while also burning fat, density training with a body weight circuit is a great option.
Density training is a type of training that focuses on performing a high volume of work in a short period of time. This type of training is great for building strength and power, while also helping to burn fat.
A body weight circuit is a great way to incorporate density training into your workout routine. A body weight circuit consists of a series of exercises that are performed back-to-back with little to no rest in between.
Performing a body weight circuit with density training can be a great way to build strength, power, and burn fat. Try incorporating a body weight circuit into your next workout and see how it helps you reach your fitness goals.

Are friends and family the right kind of support for your fitness journey?
When it comes to getting fit, social support is key. But close friends and family might be a hurtle.
If you're trying to get fit, it's important to have supportive people around you. But sometimes, the people closest to you can be the biggest roadblock.
Your family and friends might not be as supportive as you need them to be. They might make fun of you for trying to get healthy. Or they might not be willing to help you out with your new lifestyle change.
But don't let that discourage you. There are plenty of other people who will be more than happy to support you on your journey to getting fit. Seek out these people and build a supportive network.
And don't forget, even if your close friends and family don't support you, you can always count on yourself. You're the only one who can make the decision to get healthy. And you're the only one who can make it happen.

Simple exercises that improve your body without the gym even if you have bad genetics
While the type of training you do influences your body, it might not be as much as you think. Genetics plays a major role. And while training like a powerlifter will make you bigger and more powerful than you currently are, it will not give you the same body as a world class powerlifter. Same is true with bodybuilders, sprinters or runners. The ones that are at the peak of their sport are a self-selected group of ideal genetics. You probably aren’t in that group.
However, simple compound exercises will benefit anyone, even those with poor genetics. Unless you’re trying to compete, stick with simple pushing, pulling, squatting and crunching movements to get a better body.

Fight anxiety and depression, even if you have no money
It’s a great idea to seek professional help for anxiety and depression, but not everyone can afford therapy or a counselor. Thankfully, there are things you can do to ease anxiety and depression, and they all involve doing something hard.
We are built to struggle and the lack of struggle in the modern world has led to a great deal of anxiety. Choose to do something hard every day and see if that doesn’t improve your mood.

Become your best self, even if you’re in terrible shape
Not too long ago, I was in terrible shape. I ate too much, drank too much and had no energy for getting things done. The problem is, as all dads know, we are expected to take care of everything. Everyone looks to dad to solve all the problems, but dad doesn’t have anyone to look to.
So I had to figure it out and a major part of that was getting my body under control.
By treading myself like someone I was responsible for and measuring my results, I was able to become a much better version of myself. Able to carry the load and be happy along the way.

How to use time blocking to exercise, even if you have no free time
The biggest enemy of productivity is perfectionism, because perfectionism is really just a form of procrastination. You tell yourself that once you get everything perfect, then you’ll start doing the thing you know you really need to be doing, like exercise. But nothing is ever perfect, so you never get around to getting things done.
Force yourself to get things done by using time blocking. Block off certain periods of time to get work done. Then don’t fall into the trap of waiting for the perfect time to do the activity.

Dads can use a journal to achieve big goals like weight loss and better relationships
It doesn’t matter what your goals are, the actual key to achieving them is to write things down. What gets measured gets managed. So if you want to lose weight, the first step is to write down everything you eat. If you want to have a better relationship with your kids, start writing how often you tell them, “I love you.” If you want to have a better marriage, write things your wife does you appreciate and tell her, “Thank you.”
Make a record of these things and you can improve on them day by day, bit by bit.
