Sumac - Le jardin de Lucy
Trained Violin player and compulsive traveler, Sumac Dub has found in music a way to create unknown worlds that explores without limits.
The artist has drawn most of his inspiration through his various journeys in Asia and in Middle East. Enriched by multiple musical influences and largely influenced by the current electro dub scene, Sumac gave birth to its own dub in which harmony and power come together brilliantly.
Always armed with his violin, it is once on stage that the artist really comes to establish his identity in a real fusion of raw energy and mystical delicacy.
The album "Le jardin de Lucy" was released in 2015.

Tribo de Jah - Pedra de salão
Tribo de Jah is a reggae band from Brazil formed in 1986 at the Maranhão's capital city, São Luís is known as the Brazilian Jamaica, by Fauzi Beydoun, who in that time was a multinational CEO coming from Ivory Coast in África, that maintained a successful reggae program on a radio in town. It was in this school where the members met. Four band members are fully blind while the fifth has partial vision.
While buying equipment to form a band, Fauzi had a conversation with the leader of a band called "Banda Reflexo", whose musicians are still acquainted with him today. There, they worked as hired musicians, playing in São Luis and nearby cities parties, running a repertoire that held all the successful rhythms from that time, such as reggae, lambada, dance, serestas, meringues etc. As a peculiar feature, the band is formed by four visually impaired men who had met each other still young at Escola de Cegos do Maranhão and awake to music using school's old instruments (a music keyboard with missing piano keys, a guitar missing chords and the drummer used to use the writing desk to set the pace). Then, they agreed to follow together the project to form a reggae music band.
Contested by the cultural elite, but embraced by the masses, reggae music became one of the most relevant features of maranhense culture, where it was created a very singular way to listen and dance the rhythm, creating an aspect that is unique in the entire world. At that time, the "radiolas", or sound-systems, recognized in this manner in Jamaica, were responsible for spreading reggae music in the whole state, while different reggae clubs maintained the rhythm on top attending a great public frequency, even though reggae was still not played on radios.
In this situation, Tribo de Jah started to propagate its reggae roots, approaching social, political, spiritual subjects with love and peace messages. The band opened a market for reggae music in Brazil, playing in places where the Jamaican rhythm was never heard before attracting a legion of fans in the entire country.
The band was the pioneer introducing reggae theme in Brazil: terms like "Jah" (God), "Babylon", "Roots" (title of their first album), among others, were never been spread nationally until then, what made the culture to be known in large scale by fans and other bands.
The band's success out of the borders is due to Tribo de Jah sing in other tree languages besides Portuguese: French, Spanish and English.
"Pedra de salão" was released in 2014.

Sublime - Sublime
Sublime was an American punk ska band from Long Beach, California, formed in 1988. Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh were childhood friends. Having grown up in the same Long Beach neighborhood, Eric's father, Billy Wilson taught Gaugh how to read music and play the drums. Gaugh and Wilson, together with future Sublime manager Michael Happoldt, formed a three-piece punk band called The Juice Bros during their high school years. About this time, Bradley Nowell, who had recently dropped out of University of California, Santa Cruz, joined the band. Nowell helped introduce Gaugh and Wilson (who at the time listened exclusively to punk rock) to reggae and ska.
In February 1990, Nowell adopted an abused dalmatian puppy from a shelter and named him "Louie" after his grandfather. Louie Nowell, King Louie, or "Lou Dog" as he was called, became something of a mascot for the band. Lou Dog was often allowed to wander around the stage during the band's concert performances.
In early 1996, Sublime headlined the very first SnoCore Tour. In February, they began recording what would comprise the band's self-titled third record and their major label debut album. Sublime completed it before Nowell died of a heroin overdose on May 25, 1996, at a motel in San Francisco, California, the day after their last live show in Petaluma, California (May 24, 1996), and two months prior to the release of the self-titled album.
Jason Westfall, one of Sublime's managers, was quoted as saying that "the surviving members of Sublime had no interest in continuing to perform and record under the 'Sublime' name. "Just like Nirvana, Sublime died when Brad died."

The Strokes - Room on fire
The Strokes are an American rock band formed in New York City in 1998. The band is composed of lead singer and songwriter Julian Casablancas, guitarists Nick Valensi and Albert Hammond Jr., bassist Nikolai Fraiture, and drummer Fabrizio Moretti. They were a leading group of the early-2000s indie rock revival.
Lead singer-songwriter Julian Casablancas, guitarist Nick Valensi, and drummer Fabrizio Moretti started playing together as teenagers while attending Dwight School in Manhattan, and formed an informal band in 1997. They later added bassist Nikolai Fraiture to their ranks, a close childhood friend of Casablancas who had attended the Lycée Français de New York with him. At the end of 1998, the group invited guitarist Albert Hammond, Jr. to play with them.
In the following two years, the band practiced and performed tirelessly in New York City. Many of their contemporaries have credited the band's earliest successes to their dedication and hustle, as well as their engaging personalities. They practiced most nights, with many rehearsals taking place in The Music Building in Midtown Manhattan. They played their first show as The Strokes on September 14, 1999, at The Spiral.
The group began recording their follow-up in 2002 with producer Nigel Godrich (best known for his work with Radiohead), but later split with him in favor of Gordon Raphael, the producer of Is This It. Recordings with Godrich were never revealed.
The Strokes released their second album Room on Fire in October 2003. It received praise from critics but was less commercially successful, although it still went gold. The album's sound maintained The Strokes' familiar reference points, while also evoking groups such as the Cars, Bob Marley and Blondie.

The Strokes released their debut album, Is This It, in the US in October 2001. RCA Records delayed the North American (US) release over concerns with the album's cover and lyrics. The UK-released cover features a black-and-white photo of a gloved hand on a woman's naked backside, shown in semi-profile (photographer Colin Lane's then-girlfriend).
While the North American version replaced it with a photo of particle collisions in the Big European Bubble Chamber. RCA replaced the track "New York City Cops" with "When It Started", as the former featured potentially inflammatory lyrics in the wake of the September 11 attacks. The track "New York City Cops"—featuring the refrain, "New York City Cops, they ain't too smart"—was listed as No. 12 on New York magazine's "Ultimate New York Playlist" on March 1, 2010. Despite its delayed release (and the potential controversy), Is This It received critical acclaim.
