Jon Pepper: Missy’s Twitch—new satire book on climate alarmism | Tom Nelson Pod #154
Jon Pepper is a novelist, entrepreneur, and business consultant based in New York City.
Missy’s Twitchis the fourth novel in his series, Fossil Feuds, centering on the bickering descendants of industrialist Homer Crowe and their battles with politicians, activists, competitors, and one another. Jon’s previous books were recommended by Kirkus Reviews (Green Goddessis “a rollicking ride” andHeirs on Fireis “wickedly funny”) and the New York Post (Heirs on Fireis “a clever corporate satire”).
A native of Michigan, Jon won numerous awards as a national writer and business columnist for The Detroit News. He was also a radio talk show host, president of a media firm focused on nanotechnology, and an executive for energy and automotive companies. He is president of the strategic communications agency, Indelable, which he co-founded in 2014.
Jon’s career as a journalist, executive, and entrepreneur affords him an inside view on the pressures of running an enterprise in a contentious world. With an eye for comic absurdities, colorful characters, and telling detail, Jon brings readers inside a fictional c-suite for an entertaining story.
“I’ve been a fan of satire since I opened my first copy of MAD Magazine as a kid,” Jon says. “Since then, I’ve gravitated toward send-ups of business and politics such as the movie, Office Space, the TV show, Veep, and the novels of Tom Wolfe and Sinclair Lewis. The biggest challenge in writing satire these days is staying ahead of the parody found in real life, which keeps catching up with my books.”
Jon and his wife Diane, a graphic artist who designed the covers of his books, reside in Manhattan.

Soon/Connollys: Challenges of the detection and attribution of global warming | Tom Nelson Pod #153
Dr. Willie Soon, an astrophysicist and geoscientist, is a leading authority on the relationship between solar phenomena and global climate. In this 32+ years of singular pursuit, he seeks to understand the Sun-Earth relations in terms of not only meteorology and climate, but also in terms of orbital dynamics of Sun-Earth-other planets interactions, magmatic (volcanoes) and tectonic (earthquakes) activities. His discoveries challenge computer modelers and advocates who consistently underestimate solar influences on cloud formation, ocean currents, and wind that cause climate to change. He has faced and risen above unethical and often libelous attacks on his research and his character, becoming one of the world's most respected and influential voices for climate realism. In 2018, he founded the Center for Environmental Research and Earth Sciences (CERES-science.com) in order to tackle a wider range of issues and topics without fears nor prejudices.

Dr. Michael Connolly is an independent scientist, based in Ireland.
Lecturer and tutor at third level in the fields of physics, chemistry, electronic engineering, computer science, mathematics, and statistics.
I qualified as a plasterer in 1969, as an electrician in 1970 and have experience in all building trades. In 1975, I built our first house entirely on my own. The last time this house was sold it went for approx. $1 million. Since then, I have designed and built hundreds of buildings and houses.
—
About Ronan Connolly:
I am an independent scientist, environmentalist and writer.
My primary university degree was in Chemistry, and my PhD in computational chemistry/polymer physics. However, in 2004, I shifted to environmentalism, and began working with my father, Dr. Michael Connolly, on developing sustainable methods of fish-farming, aquaponics and waste-water treatment. We also carried out research into developing low-cost heat exchanger systems and new energy efficient building materials and techniques.

Gavin Noonan: Climate Change for the Lay Person | Tom Nelson Pod #152
About six years ago I set a goal to read 100 books for my own personal development and education. Two years later it became a 1000 book goal to educate and learn about the world and life.
Initially massively orientated around my professional life as a personal trainer I always want to still learn a far and wide as possible in all aspects to the human experience.
As a personal trainer I have studied over 15 000 hours on both my career and in my life passion of martial arts. However I have always tried to learn as broadly as possible about everything else I find interesting.

Jeremy Nieboer: The Greatest Deception | Tom Nelson Pod #151
JEREMY NIEBOER was educated at Harrow School and Oriel College Oxford. After a period practising as a member of the Bar in Kings Bench Walk he was later admitted as a solicitor becoming a partner in two City law firms. He specialised in corporate work, including mergers and acquisitions, capital market public offerings, private equity transactions and commercial law. Hestill acts for a few long-standing clients. His first encounter with any challenge to the accepted doctrine of ‘global warming’ came through his contact with Christopher Booker, whom Jeremy first met when acting as lead solicitor on the application by Lord Rees-Mogg to restrain ratification of the Maastricht Treaty. Christopher himself published his essential work The Real Global Warming Disaster in 2009. Just at the time of its publication, there was a public meeting in Church House addressed by Professor Plimer in which he succinctly set out the fundamental scientific flaws of alleged CO2 driven global warming. It was this that set Jeremy on a path of enquiry and research. Jeremy has since spoken at numerous meetings as to the want of any tenable scientific basis forthe vast proposed expenditure on the folly of de-carbonisation. He published his first booklet on climate alarmism with the Bruges Group in 2010, A Lesson in Democracy, and has been a leadspeaker at public meetings and debates on the subject.

John Chizmadia: The Climate Scam | Tom Nelson Pod #144
John Chizmadia is an entrepreneur, business developer, husband, father, and grandfather. A scholar athlete, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Political Science. He founded and was CEO of a computer hardware and software distribution company, which as part of its claim to fame, launched many tech brands that are household names today. He has a passion for history, has traveled extensively, and has used his many life experiences as the core foundation for his literary work. John and his wife (of 48 years) have lived in Colorado for 30 years.
CLIMATE SCAM is a Historical Narrative of nearly 40 years of scams about climate control. Meticulously researched, the book presents a summary and commentary of articles, interviews, debates, and opinions about a story perpetuated by politicians, business leaders, “climate scientists”, and the gullible. The presenters claimed they could save the world from burning up; in many cases their audiences believed them even though ALL the predictions were wrong. Glaciers didn't melt, coasts weren't flooded, and polar bears weren't starving. When Al Gore got into the act and his movie, "AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH", became a hit, the money train took off. "Send money NOW!! There's no time to waste!" The book is written very much in the style of Doris Kearns Goodwin's "Team of Rivals", William Manchester's "American Caesar", Henry Steel Commager's "The Blue and the Gray", and John Krakauer's "Into Thin Air." The reader will very quickly sense the decades of deception, robbery, character assassinations, and get rich quick schemes that have and still are affecting everybody in the world.

Kelvin Kemm: South African electricity and climate realism | Tom Nelson Pod #137
Dr Kelvin Kemm is a Business Strategy Consultant and runs his own company, Stratek, based in Pretoria. He is a nuclear physicist and is a past Chairman of the South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (Necsa).
Dr Kemm started work as a research and development scientist but then moved into the management of technology and became involved in a wide variety of projects in many industrial sectors, giving him wide exposure to a technological and industrial base. He developed high technology systems and frequently went out ‘in the field’ to work on developments first hand. These activities took him into many factories, down mines, into power stations, riding in experimental aircraft and vehicles, and into banking, advertising and marketing systems.
Kelvin Kemm is a great believer in sound strategy development, and he points out that this is far more difficult than it appears on the surface. This includes understanding the psychology of the society within which a technology system must function.
Dr Kemm believes that a healthy economy needs a wide appreciation of the role of technology and how it fits into any strategic plan. Technology is not just the nuts and bolts; it is the entire basis on which any company stands. It is the proverbial concrete foundation of any enterprise.
He became interested in the public awareness of technology and has written over 1000 popular interest articles in journals, magazines and newspapers, internationally. He has written two books; a public interest book on South African technology: Techtrack - A Winding Path of South African Development and a coffee table book: At the Forefront of Weather.
He has been a Plenary Guest Speaker at the World Nuclear Association in London, and at the World Nuclear Exhibition in Paris. He Chaired the opening ceremony of ATOMEXPO in Moscow in 2016, and was a guest speaker at the African Union Economic Summit in Mauritius in 2017. He has been a Guest Speaker in places as diverse as Hanoi, Windhoek and Stockholm. He has also been a speaker at tribal events in the bush, in Venda, Sekhukhuneland and southern Angola. In contrast he has given both Senate and Congressional briefings in Washington DC.
