Grumpy Silverback Gorilla deals with super annoying son
Oumbi is having a rest - well he is trying to - under the pavilion and making himself comfortable while Lope is being silly on the other side of the wall. Strutting his stuff, his face covered in wood wool. He does a little twist and beats his chest and then he goes to work on being the most annoying son he can be. He looks around the corner and stares at dad who tries hard to ignore him.
Lope beats his chest again and bangs on the wall where his dad is leaning against. The second time he does it, Oumbi hits back at the wall as to say keep it down boy. Lope doesn't give up easily, so he does it again and again. When Lope does his spins and it gone quite Oumbi hits the wall with his fist, like he almost missed Lopes annoying antics. Look at Lope after his spins, he's just resting his head casually on his head lying down. Looking in dads direction and off he goes again. Than he tries a different method coming running from the other site.
Oumbi beats his chest. The second time Lope comes round the other site is just so funny, he just pokes his head around the wall slowly and then the rascal throws a stick at dad and beats his chest! We would just love to know what Oumbi is thinking. Looking at his face now, he's starting to get more annoyed and waiting for his sons next move!

Silverback gorilla shows off his daily workout routine
Oumbi the male gorilla from the Twycross Zoo is the most active just before lunchtime. Like everybody else, he's getting all excited for the food. They are waiting for the doors to close so the keepers can scatter the food outside. Apart from a few outburst that he has to keep his family in check, he is quite happy being mostly just sitting, eating, relaxing and sleeping, which does make you wonder how he gets all those muscles. Well now you'll find out.
He's doing his daily routine of pull-ups! Just look how he manages to do them with so much ease! When he does his first pull up you’ll see his mate Ozala in the background running with baby Shufai. After he had his pull-ups he’s running through the enclosure to let everybody know he’s the boss and everybody moves quickly out of his way. Asante is resting up the top and you can see Oumbi having a little dig at her. He continues with some more gym exercise, before he has another go at the others.
Oumbi is normally the first one out after lunch, that is if Lope his cheeky son doesn’t get there first! Than it’s Ozala with baby Shufai. Asante the aunt and grandma Bidi are always the last ones to go out and giving all the others the chance of feeding first, until they are getting there share.

Gorilla Youngster Tries To Pull Out Loose Baby Tooth
Biting into an apple is the more common way of getting rid of a loose tooth, but that was evidently too boring for this cheeky mammal. Hilarious footage has emerged of a gorilla youngster vigorously trying to pull out an annoying loose baby tooth.
It looks like Lope is going to get a visit from the tooth fairy! The gorilla youngster from the Twycross Zoo in England manages to lose one of his baby teeth while wrestling with his mom, and eventually pulls out the loose tooth on his own. The tenacious gorilla is seen struggling with the tooth, but in the end manages to pull out the annoying loose tooth with flying colors, proving that he doesn’t need a dentist. Amazing!
<a href="https://rumble.com/v4u7wp-wrestling-mania-between-gorilla-youngster-lope-and-grandma.html" target="_blank">Lope</a>, the gorilla youngster from Twycross zoo in England is known for mimicking the human walk, wrestling with the members of his pride, and now even for playing the role of the family doctor. He makes everybody laugh with his swagger and definitely is the coolest kid on the block! In this clip, the five-year-old is seen struggling to pull out a loose tooth with the help of his hands, much to onlookers’ amusement. When he had enough of the annoying loose tooth for the day, he started wrestling with the other gorillas in his zoo enclosure as if nothing has happened! Talk about keeping it cool!
In another heartwarming video, starring Lope, we see this <a href="https://rumble.com/v5c3qr-gorilla-youngster-cant-get-enough-of-his-huge-popsicle.html" target="_blank">gorilla youngster feasting on a giant piece of popsicle</a>. The weather is heating up and the Lope is after some cold flavored fruit ice, in this case a huge popsicle that is hanging from the climbing frame in his habitat. Just look at him munching on a giant piece of popsicle with delight! Maybe that’s what gave him the loose tooth in the first place!
Lope the gorilla from the Twycross Zoo in Atherstone, England is having so much fun on a daily basis. He enjoys playing in the hay, throwing it all over himself, wiggling about. He likes playing hide and seek with the other members of his tribe, but most of all he appreciates good food.
Who would have thought that gorillas can be hooked on goodies and declare popsicle as their favorite snack. It is not that surprising given this cool treat is scrumptious, smooth and makes everything much better. The great thing about ice cream popsicle is that we can eat it every season since it cools us down in the summer heat, but also makes the winter cold much more bearable!
The gorilla family at Twycross consists of 6 members. Oumbi the big male silverback, Ozala the mum of Lope and Shufai. Grandma Bidi and Asante. In 2009 Oumbi joined Twycross zoo to mate with the females. Ozala was Oumbi chosen mate. Lope - was born on the morning of 3 January 2013. Shufai was born on the 24th of September 2016.
Talking about loose teeth, in the past few years we see parents thinking outside the box when their children’s baby teeth start to wiggle, and coming up with new, fun ways of pulling out loose teeth. From using a remote-controlled toy car to pull that stubborn loose tooth out, to <a href="https://rumble.com/v3dlc3-dad-pulls-sons-loose-tooth-out-using-a-helicopter.html" target="_blank">attaching a string to a helicopter and flying it high</a>!
Pulling out your loose old baby teeth can be a little scary for young children. So why not make the experience a little easier on them by making the process fun and exciting? Over the years, we have seen a number of different attempts at <a href="https://rumble.com/v4ltvm-adorable-little-girl-pulls-loose-tooth-out-with-rc-car.html" target="_blank">removing loose teeth from kids' mouths</a>. Generally speaking, these attempts successful or not are made with purposeful intention. It is rare that we see one that is accidental unless it features someone getting a bit hurt.
This latest video features a girl with two small birds on her shoulders. The birds for some reason are pecking at the girl's teeth. We guess they are cleaning her teeth, but we don't really know. One of the birds manages to remove one of the girl's teeth. We assume it was loose already. However, this bird is certainly down with his <a href="https://rumble.com/v4gcbn-bird-grooming-her-owner-steals-a-loose-tooth.html" target="_blank">bloody new treat</a>.

Oumbi the Silverback Gorilla is obviously in the doghouse with his partner. Ozala, the female from the Twycross Zoo, seems to have a problem with Oumbi, the father of their kids. Both the adults are sitting outside, but finding it hard to look at each other... We can all relate to that!

Gorilla charges son after taking playtime too far
Lope and Shufai are having a play fight in front of their big silverback dad who is sitting quietly in the corner. When those two are tumbling a bit too close to Oumbi, the Silverback grabs Lope gently and turns him around without any effort. The brothers continue to play, but Lope gives Oumbi just that little glance of disapproval. Shufai continues to play with Lope while Lope is fighting dad’s arm, which is nearly the same size. Dad just can’t stop himself getting involved and keeps grabbing Lope, but Oumbi seems pretty relaxed with it all.
Lope decides it’s time to annoy dad some more by trying to grab his face. Little Shufai quickly runs to the other end because he probably knows what is coming. Lope continues by beating his chest in front of Oumbi and just being silly in general. That was the last straw for the silverback as he first pouts his lips and it takes only another chest beat from Lope to make those massive muscles move like a lighting strike launching towards Lope. His son managed to get away, but his dad certainly made his feelings very clear. He is still the boss!

Silverback Gorilla Exercises Dominance But Slips And Embarrasses Himself
A hilarious footage has emerged of an over-confident male gorilla exercising dominance in his zoo enclosure. However, his heroic act was tainted with an epic slip up. Who would have known that even a silverback gorilla can slip up? He slipped so much that he did the splits! Adorable!
Imagine going to the ZOO to visit all those exotic animals, only to have a 375 pound male gorilla lunge at you in his enclosure! In this clip, we see a massive silverback male showing visitors and other gorillas in his enclosure that he is the alpha!
Glass or not, watching a gorilla charge at you only to pound on its chests, is definitely a scary experience! In this video, we are fazed by what the huge mammal is trying to achieve, but eventually, karma takes things in her own hands.
This is typical behavior, it is just what male gorillas do. They just exude that dominance and they want to show that any way they can, while making a lot of noise and fuss about it. The pounding of chests and the angry charging, makes gorillas seem pretty scary to be around!
In this compilation of several footages, we see a <a href="https://rumble.com/v3tvsr-big-silverback-gorilla-lets-everyone-know-whos-the-boss.html" target="_blank">male silverback gorilla exercising dominance</a> in a zoo enclosure. In the first footage we see a male gorilla pounding his chests, showing the others who’s in charge. Next, he charges straight down the grass with such incredible force, but slips in the process. What an embarrassment for such alpha male, we’re sure! Next time, we hope he learns how to hold his horses, and exercise his dominance elsewhere!
We have seen male gorillas in action many times and we know their dominant behavior. If you haven’t stumbled upon <a href="https://rumble.com/v30fng-must-watch-omaha-zoo-silverback-gorilla-attacks.html" target="_blank">harsh gorilla dominance</a>, make sure you stick around for a moment to witness the action as a self-confident male beats his chests for attention. It's all for recognition!
The hierarchical organization is typical for many species of gorilla; the only question is what this hierarchy is like. We can say that hierarchically structured teams of gorillas can be of fundamentally dissimilar. First, these are structures with egalitarian dominance. This means that the team has a leader and subordinates. But subordinates have enough freedom of choice, freedom of action in relations with each other and even in relations with the leader. Secondly, it is a rigid despotic structure, like you can clearly see in the video on the top of the page, under which a linear vertical is built, and each higher rank dictates all of its requirements to the lower one. And the inferiors are deprived of the right to vote.
Each type of gorilla has its own structure of the collective. Of course, within each species at the population level, there are variations, but, in principle, each structure has a constant structure. The social structures in gorillas are sufficiently well defined and outlined, the rules of behavior are defined within the limits of these structures by species-specific opportunities.
What dо you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. It just might be the highlight of their day! Enjoy!

Naughty Gorilla Has Found Perfect Way To Fight Away Boredom
Living in a zoo is not easy - not even if you have a huge space perfectly designated for you. Each enclosed space is simply not open enough to feed your imagination. Especially if you are a monkey. <a href="https://rumble.com/v2zcqn-monkey-skateboarder.html" target="_blank">Monkeys</a> can get bored easily regarding the fact that their needs to show off in front of visitors is just not enough for their thirst to clown around. This naughty gorilla, called Lope is a perfect example of this. Lope is a youngster from the Twycross Zoo in Atherstone, England and he is at his funniest when he's annoying his poor mother!
He has obviously understood the secret of life that apparently not many humans have mastered it so far - that is why wasting the days of your life when you can do something meaningful with them? Well, that “meaningful” for this gorilla is to get on his mom’s nerves and be as irritating as possible.
There is no way not to neg his mom, especially when she can hardly be seen since she is obviously hiding from her son, covered in wood scraps. However, her son is clever enough to notice when his mom is not around, so he knows what to do - the thing he always does when he wants to play. First, he starts with biting his mom in the buttock and he knows that what he does is something that his mom hates. Nevertheless, he still does it, because every game starts with a ritual. Since his mom is not interested in his crazy game, he goes away and finds a hanging ball with water inside. Why not refresh himself on a such a hot day? Water boosts his energy levels so he can keep on showing visitors what a <a href="https://rumble.com/v38m9p-funny-mechanic-monkey.html" target="_blank">funny</a> monkey he is!

Heartwarming Wrestling Match Between Gorilla Youngster And Grandma
A hilarious footage has emerged of a young gorilla teasing an elderly member of his tribe, engaging in play mode at their enclosure at the zoo. Lope the gorilla youngster is full of energy, but he never really had a lot of contact with his grandma Bidi before. However, today was different because both were full of energy and in a mood for a wrestling match. What a priceless interaction they share!
Meet Lope, the cheeky gorilla youngster from the Twycross Zoo in England who often displays his silly antics, much for onlookers’ amusement. Look at him having a go at his grandmother. Watch as the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3c4ks-gorilla-mother-and-her-baby-backpack.html" target="_blank">cheeky gorilla youngester</a> teases with his elderly grandmother Bidi, trying to pick a fight while playing and messing around with her! What a little rascal!
He's getting close to her, but at first it seems like she is not in the mood for games, and pushes Lope out of her way. However, Lope doesn't seem to be that bothered by her action and continues to give her smack attacks while running around their enclosure!
Lope is becoming quite the lovable rogue with his human teenager like attitude. His favorite moves include strut like a human through his enclose, his little commando rolls, swinging his arms and jumping in the air. Check out this <a href="https://rumble.com/v3xedf-the-chase-is-on-for-gorilla-youngster-lope.html" target="_blank">playful gorilla</a> at the Twycross Zoo in England go full play mode on his grandmother. It almost looks as if these fun-loving apes are putting a show on for all the spectators at the zoo!
Isn't this video just hilarious? Animals have many human-like characteristics about themselves which is highlighted in this video right here. Lope is a 4-year-old western lowland gorilla, a species that is labeled as critical on the IUCN list. He is the the second child of 22-year-old mother Ozala and 24-year-old dad Oumbi.
The 4-year-old rascal can be seen running around their enclosure in Twycross, just like a human baby would, teasing his grandmother, engaging in play mode. It is an important aspect of a gorilla youngers’ behavior, but he needs to learn about the hierarchy in the troop.
These rare primates are usually found in dense rainforests and swamps in Central Africa, but their populations in the wild have declined by more than 60% in the past two decades. Western lowland gorillas have been pushed to the brink of extinction by humans clearing their forests for timber, oil and gas, as well as poaching the animals for bushmeat and the illegal pet trade.

Youngster Gorilla Has The Funniest Human Walk
You've might have seen the silverback Gorilla Louis, an 18-year-old male western lowland gorilla that has been in the news for walking upright at the Philadelphia Zoo. Well, this is nothing new for Lope the gorilla youngster from Twycross zoo in England. You have seen him walk like human many times on this channel, but he manages to make it more hilarious every time. He makes everybody laugh with his swagger. The <a href="https://rumble.com/v4g3yj-10-coolest-animal-self-defense-mechanisms.html" target="_blank">coolest</a> kid on the block.
The 5-year-old managed to get a big salad during feeding time and walks upright to his favorite spot to sit down and have a few bites. When he had enough, he gets back on his two feet. With his salad still in his mouth, he starts beating his chest, brimming with self-confidence. He moves on with his chest poking out walking down the slope and even walking back up again on his two feet like a human!
It doesn’t stop there he does a full round, yes, still on two feet and the best bit is at the end seeing him from his behind waddling towards the entrance of his inside enclosure. Lope is one of two sons of Ozala and dad Oumbi.
The <a href="https://rumble.com/v3y7hh-baby-gorilla-gets-kicked-by-dad.html" target="_blank">gorilla</a> family at Twycross consists of 6 members. Fresh Snow Was The Perfect Refreshment For These Gorillas
Way back when we were younger, we loved eating the fresh snow. It looked exactly like the snow cones our parents used to get us at fairs in the summer, only snow was tasteless (unless you count the occasional spect of dirt that came along with it). Also, “don’t eat the yellow snow” became a staple throughout our adult lives, although we probably had no idea what it meant back then.
When snow fell in Twycross, Leicestershire, England these past week, the Silverback gorillas went out to have their own taste of the white stuff. Just like any human would, they would gather up the snow in ball and munch on it. Mmm, refreshing!
The Gorilla Family from the Twycross Zoo in England woke up this morning to freezing weather and some snow. Even though the family doesn't like to stay outside in the cold, they do love to eat <a href="https://rumble.com/v49ncp-pure-happiness-combined-with-great-athleticism-and-agility.html" target="_blank">snowballs</a>!
Oumbi the big <a href="https://rumble.com/v3tvsr-big-silverback-gorilla-lets-everyone-know-whos-the-boss.html" target="_blank">Silverback gorilla</a> was the first to go outside to get himself some white stuff. He did his tightrope walk to the other side of the platform where he gathered the fresh snow together and ended up with a huge chunk of snow on his hand. He was joined by his older son Lope, who took advantage of his dad no looking to grab a huge chunk of snow from the roof and brought it inside with him to nibble on the frozen refreshment!
In the end, we are all kids on the inside!

Rowdy Baby Gorilla Gets Disciplined By Dad In Front Of Zoo Visitors
Working in a zoo can be quite dangerous at times, but it pales in comparison to the times it’s made you feel elated to even know these amazing creatures. Being a zoo caretaker lets you get to know these beautiful souls a little bit better and create a tight bond, even become friends. Aside from making sure they remain healthy and adapt to the life in captivity, you get to learn all about their quirks and realize that they might be animals, but they each have their own character, and it’s absolutely amazing.
Zoos are great places to encounter wild animals that you might not have seen otherwise in your day to day life. You may never get to see Africa in person, but if you visit the zoo, you might just see a handful of the animals that would normally roam the earth over there. Zoos make us see the animals for what they are when they are surrounded by their tight knit group, we won’t experience the violence and the need for lashing out and hunting, we would only see them in their roles as parents, brothers, sisters, friends and we would realize how similar to us they are. This video just shows us that some things are just bound to stay the same.
Shufai the baby gorilla was having a great time playing with some tree branches in Twycross ZOO until his father Oumbi decided to take them all away (since technically he's playing with his food). But when Shufai persists, Oumbi does a total dad move to let him know he's serious!
The kid runs after his dad, while the 24-year-old Silverback gorilla gather all the branches from the enclosure and puts them away. Shufai’s older brother Lope knows well to stay away from dad’s path, but the <a href="https://rumble.com/v3vox7-cheeky-lope-the-gorilla-youngster-smacks-adult-on-her-nose.html" target="_blank">gorilla youngster</a> wants his toys back.
In an effort to stop dad from removing all of his toys, Shufai tries to grab dad by the foot, but the elder puts him back in his place with a determined, but still very gentle nudge with the foot.
Body language is a big deal with these giants and the baby knew that very instant that playtime is over! Instead of chasing after dad, the baby sits on his butt and contemplates his choices, before turning away and running after <a href="https://rumble.com/v3u8cf-motherly-love-is-truly-heartwarming.html" target="_blank">mom</a> Ozala.
Shufai was born on September 24, 2016 and is the third baby for 22-year-old mother Ozala and 24-year-old father Oumbi. As well as being a joyous occasion for zoo staff and visitors, the birth is an important part of conservation efforts to save the species, as the number of Western lowland gorillas in the wild has dramatically declined by more than 60% in the last 20-25 years, and scientists predict they will become extinct in the next 20 years or so.
What did you think about this video? Make sure you tell us more in the comments down below. If you like what you see, don’t forget to share it with others who might like it as well. It just might be the highlight of their day! Enjoy!

Gorilla Youngster Preciously Plays With Baby Brother
Meet the Lope the cheeky gorilla youngster from the Twycross Zoo in England. Enjoy as he gets chased all around his enclosure by his little brother Shufai. If you think that is cute, wait until you see both of them at the end of the video!
Lope is a 4-year-old western lowland gorilla, a species that is labeled as critical on the IUCN list. He is the the second child of 22-year-old <a href="https://rumble.com/v3u8cf-motherly-love-is-truly-heartwarming.html" target="_blank">mother</a> Ozala and 24-year-old dad Oumbi. Shufai, on the other hand, is his first younger brother, which made headlines last year on his birth.
The 4- and 1-year-old, respectively, can be seen running around their enclosure in Twycross, just like human siblings would. It is an important aspect of a <a href="https://rumble.com/v3vox7-cheeky-lope-the-gorilla-youngster-smacks-adult-on-her-nose.html" target="_blank">gorilla youngers</a>’s behavior. Mom is close by to keep a watchful eye on the two sons, but she will never intervene, because this is also how they learn about the hierarchy in the troop.

Cheeky Gorilla Youngster Smacks Adult On Her Nose
Meet the Lope the cheeky gorilla youngster from the Twycross Zoo in England. Follow all his silly antics here on Rumble. In an earlier popular video you saw him having a go at his baby brother (https://rumble.com/v3rc6z-gorilla-youngster-lope-harasses-his-baby-brother.html). Now it's Asantes turn to be on his receiving end. It's feeding time and Lope had more than his share to eat, but Asante seems to have something that Lope wants. He's getting close to her, has a smell of what she is chewing, but Asante is in no mood for sharing and pushes Lope out of the way to move on. What does Lope do...he decides to give her a smack on the nose, repeatedly! Asante doesn't seem to be that bothered by Lopes action and takes it all in her stride.
Lope is becoming quite the lovable rogue with his human teenager like attitude. His favorite moves include strut like a human through his enclose, his little commando rolls, swinging his arms and jumping in the air. In the other Lope videos you can see the other family members: Oumbi is Lopes Dad, a big silverback. Ozala is the mom and she has her hands full keeping the one year old named Shufai and Lope on good terms, grandma Bidi and Asante that you saw in this video. Big Silverback Gorilla Lets Everyone Know Who's Boss
The big gorilla is not having one of his best days. Oumbi is getting agitated by the fact that he can't choose to go inside when he wants to, like he normally can. He's strutting his stuff, beating his chest and taking his frustration out on the rest of the family. The reason for being locked out all day is that their inside enclosure is having a refit with new climbing frames and ropes. The family keeps looking through the windows to see what is going on inside. All that waiting doesn't play well with Oumbi and he lets out his frustration on his family!

Older Sibling Tries To Harass Baby Gorilla, Gets A Taste Of His Own Medicine
This video is a perfect example of sibling rivalry. It doesn’t matter if you’re seven years old or seventy-seven, a boy or a girl, you will always find the time to prank your sibling. The race, the gender, the animal kingdom you belong to are all moot points when it comes to having a bit of fun with your relative. Apparently, gorillas are quite the pranksters.
Check out these popular <a href="https://rumble.com/v3e48o-gorilla-youngster-grabs-and-drags-baby-brother.html">gorilla siblings</a> from the Twycross Zoo in England - you just can't ever stop watching them! There is always something happening in their nook in the zoo. In this instance, Lope the Gorilla youngster is harassing his baby brother by grabbing him several times. He tries to trip him but to no avail. The baby gorilla, however, has other plans. He just knows that no matter how nasty his older brother gets, he would always have his mommy to take care of him.
Take a look as this situation "goes down" and wild instincts kick in. The gorilla mama watches over her two little trouble-makers from a distance, but isn’t willing to step in until the last moment. It seems like the older brother has finally crossed the line when he manages to trip the baby with a swipe of his hand. The mom steps in between the two and takes the baby by her side. The little mischievous tot stays back for a few seconds, wanting to gloat, but in true mom fashion, she scolds him and makes him climb on her back to get to safety.

Gorilla Humorously Slides Backwards Downhill
From the time that the internet has been around, animal videos have dominated it! There is something about animals that we as people find very fascinating a very funny! Maybe it is because the animals do not realize what they are doing most of the time, that we find so funny! This video is no exception to that also, as this gorilla will surely make you laugh with it's routine!
The hilarious gorilla is sliding backwards downhill... well, it's more of a 'creeping' downhill. The mom is very protective of the gorilla's baby brother, so the gorilla has to take different approaches to get to him without mom moving between the two, as she only lets him play with his brother when he isn't aggressive in his approach. In the end it's well worth it, as he has some quality time with his brother!

Gorillas live in forests of Central Africa and are divided into two species, the eastern gorillas and the western gorillas which are both sadly endangered. They are the largest living primates and have DNA very similar to humans, from about 95 to 99 percent of DNA. That is very cool! They are also the closest living relatives to humans, awesome!
