This Is The Church Jesus Built
1 Peter 2:4-10 KJV
(4) To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
(5) Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
(6) Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.
(7) Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
(8) And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
(9) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
(10) Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

The Church Is People
Ephesians 2:19-22 KJV
(19) Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
(20) And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
(21) In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
(22) In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

God Saves Gentiles
Ruth 1:16-17 KJV
(16) And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
(17) Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

How Did We Get Here
Ruth 1:6-15 KJV
(6) Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.
(7) Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.
(8) And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother's house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.
(9) The LORD grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept.
(10) And they said unto her, Surely we will return with thee unto thy people.
(11) And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?
(12) Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;
(13) Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.
(14) And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.
(15) And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.

Fret Not My Love
Song of Solomon 2:8-14 KJV
(8) The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.
(9) My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.
(10) My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
(11) For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
(12) The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
(13) The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
(14) O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

There Is Only One Church
1 Corinthians 12:12-14 KJV
(12) For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
(13) For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
(14) For the body is not one member, but many.

The Bride Of Christ
Ephesians 5:30-33 KJV
(30) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
(31) For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
(32) This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
(33) Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Spend Time With Your Beloved
Song of Solomon 2:1-10 KJV
(1) I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
(2) As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.
(3) As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
(4) He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
(5) Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love.
(6) His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
(7) I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.

The Church Is A Rib
Genesis 2:18-25 KJV
(18) And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
(19) And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
(20) And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
(21) And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
(22) And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
(23) And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
(24) Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
(25) And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.

Our Union With Christ
Song of Solomon 1:9-17 KJV
(9) I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh's chariots.
(10) Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold.
(11) We will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver.
(12) While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.
(13) A bundle of myrrh is my wellbeloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts.
(14) My beloved is unto me as a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of Engedi.
(15) Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes.
(16) Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is green.
(17) The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.

The Pathetic Christian
Jonah 4:1-11 KJV
(1) But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
(2) And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.
(3) Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.
(4) Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry?
(5) So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.
(6) And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.
(7) But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered.
(8) And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.
(9) And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.
(10) Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:
(11) And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?
