How the U.S. Dollar Became the World’s Dominant Currency
In a global economy facing threats of war, recession, and energy crisis, the U.S. dollar has emerged as one of the few attractive assets remaining. Even economic powerhouses like China keep a trillion dollars in reserve.
Why? The U.S. dollar has surpassed all other currencies in terms of popularity and power. This includes the British Pound and the Euro.
Watch this video to learn how the dollar rose to dominance.

Lobbying in American Politics is More Powerful Than You Think
The First Amendment encourages U.S. citizens to actively participate in government. But there’s a problematic subset of citizens called lobbyists who use the money to buy their way into our government and push their agendas.
Lobbyists contribute hundreds of thousands of dollars, or more, to the election funds of their preferred political candidates. They hold massive fundraisers that line the pockets of their chosen politicians. In exchange for the funds, politicians serve the special interests of lobbyists.
Why is this a problem and just how powerful is lobbying in American politics? I’ll answer those questions for you in this video.

A History of Black Leaders Who Died Fighting Racism
Martin Luther King Jr. isn’t the only prominent leader who died fighting for the Black community. Many more were assassinated while serving the same cause.
In Part I of The Rise and Fall of the Black Community, you’ll learn more about Black leaders who paid the ultimate price in pursuit of equality. These organizers and activists were so effective that they were seen by racists as threats that needed to be silenced.
We must not only honor their work and remember their names but continue carrying out their missions. It’s up to us to ensure that the death of these leaders is not in vain.

Healthcare in America Means Getting Less Bang for Your Buck
America’s healthcare system is different from other advanced industrialized countries. It does not provide health care to the country's entire population. Instead, most citizens are covered by a combination of private insurance and various federal and state programs.
America’s system is a very impractical way to administer healthcare. First off, the closest thing this country has to government-subsidized healthcare is Medicare. A program that only serves senior citizens.
Most of America’s healthcare system is privatized, meaning almost every involved entity is for-profit. There are issues with co-pays and deductibles where insurance doesn’t cover 100 percent of your bill, leaving you to figure out how to cover the remaining balance. A good example of this is how many elderly people have Medicare but are still working for secondary insurance or to pay off medical debt.
In this video, we’ll talk about how healthcare in America is unsustainable. And how even with two jobs and two health insurances, you could still find yourself with a stack of unpaid medical bills.

Why Local Elections Matter More Than the Presidential Election
The U.S. President is only one person. Even though he's our country's leader and has a lot of power, he doesn't control everything. In fact, most of what happens in your community as an American citizen happens at a local level—from the schools you attend to the roads you drive on and the police officers who protect you.
Your local government oversees all these things, which means voting for people who will make decisions in those areas is extremely important. Their decisions directly affect your life with a huge impact on how happy and safe you feel.
So go ahead and check out this video to learn more about why you should take voting in local elections more seriously. You might be surprised by what you find!

Discover Why Africa is a Sleeping Superpower
Africa is one of the world's largest continents. It’s also considered one of the poorest. But that’s not exactly true. Many well-developed nations exploit Africa and ravage its abundant natural resources.
Among the ample resources found on this continent are minerals that are vital to our current technology-driven society. If Africa were to ever cut off the rest of the world and revoke access to these minerals, modern society would fall.
In this video, you’ll discover how powerful Africa really is in the 21st century and how many of its countries have the potential to shape continents at will.

Is It Too Late: Cancel Culture Is A REAL PROBLEM in America
America is becoming more and more sensitive. We have become more divided as a nation now, more than ever.
Cancel culture is a self-destructive idea of social justice that could empower minorities and destroy individuals. You could get a lot of hate and get canceled indefinitely just by disagreeing with the majority and sharing what seems to be a juvenile idea - a joke.
In my eyes, that is very un-American, so we need to talk about it.
This video is about something much more important than pointing fingers; it's about society's perceived "sensitivity" and what it means for us moving forward.

Non - Racist White People, We Need You!
The age-old problem of racism is still prevalent in our unique political climate and most aspects of our society. That is true; we are still learning to be better people day by day, and one of the things we had to face is the fact that we have to defeat systemic racism— racism embedded as normal practice in institutions like education and law enforcement — we've got to be continually working towards equality for all races, striving to undo racism in our mind, our personal environment, and the wider world.
Here in the United States, you might expect that racism only involved the oppressor and the oppressed, in the rampant cycle of oppression. But as the world continues to sort out racial equality, racism and anti-racism began to become something we really don’t know a lot about — clawing its root to internalized racism, white supremacy, and privileges, and having to see it from the perspective of the oppressed — maybe then will we understand why it’s not enough to just be “non-racist” in America.

America’s Child Support System: An Outdated System That Perpetuates Inequality
America as a progressive country seemed to leave far behind the painful history of child support. Meaning never to change it at all. America’s child support system continuously exploits the people who endured decades of institutional violence that have trapped them, and therefore their children, in a spiral of economic deprivation.
It is time to acknowledge the fact that it is an outdated system that perpetuates inequality. America can no longer hide from the racist and gender inequality backlash against the child support system. In accordance with the racist backlash, public assistance for families has informed child support policy for too long. A lot had to face the consequences including low-income parents, especially Black fathers.
Now is the time to recognize that noncustodial parents, mostly men, have endured decades of institutional violence. Men pay more than women when it comes to child support, though a lot of noncustodial parents are men a big portion of noncustodial women do not pay what they owe.
In this video, we will talk about how outdated America’s child support system is and if it really does help the children and give them what they deserve. And also to know whether the child support system is a way to exploit people and whether or not it contributes to inequality.

The Auto Industry’s Capitalism: Why America Has No Bullet Trains
High-speed trains were rendered obsolete in 1958– and there comes the Interstate Highway System. Instead of investing in bullet trains, America promotes auto-dependent development that essentially outsources a major cost to fuel. As America’s population kept on growing so does the infrastructures needed to house all the vehicles produced by the auto industry. As the auto industry’s capitalism grew the possibility of investing in bullet trains kept on receding.
And now as America struggles with oil dependency and environmental problems, plus the fact that they have traffic problems (causing them to be dependent on airways). It’s now a heated discussion as to why America does not have bullet trains and if it will ever have one in the future. Due to this America’s misconception of High-speed railways had been a heated discussion.
In this video, we will discuss how the auto industry’s capitalism could be the reason why America will never be able to invest in High-speed railways. And whether America would be better with bullet trains.

Community Policing: Trust Between the Citizens and The Police
The effectiveness of policing and police reform has reemerged as a prominent topic of debate in the United States following the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Elijah McClain. This has reignited America’s need to apply community policing, wherein the police will live in the community they serve. This will create law enforcement systems with the help of the citizens, with familiarity with their needs and life practices. Due to the current killings mainly of black people, issues of mistrust and insecurity in the police had reemerged.
While it worked out for some, the cons are just as much as the pros. Surprisingly, community policing did not work out well in the south nor did it create trust between the citizens and the police. Mainly because it has been a sudden shift and appeared as if it was a superficial approach to the occurring problem.
In this video, we will discuss the ongoing debate about community policing. And will the US ever make this work, will community policing end police brutality or will it favor certain community members? Will making police live in the places they protect to make a difference?
