Happy Birthday to ME! How we spent my birthday together.

A visit from daughter Casey & her 3 kids; a turkey rumble!

Now my best gurl (cur girl), Maisie is my hands and feet and often, my brain. I don't know how I'd get through my days without her! The day she came into my life as a severely neglected pup was one of the best days of our lives, together! I had 3 birthdays this year: one with Pete on my actual birthday, one with Gwen and Don a few days later, and this one with Casey and her family after we got home from Kentucky.

I started sharing my videos here when I left YouTube after posting over 2000 vlogs there over lots of years. Though I just continued here where I left off there, it was brought to my attention that new friends don't know the back story. So here is part 1 of my attempt to bring you up to speed.

Since I do IF/moderate carb and hubby does pescatarian (actually mostly vegetarian but occasional fish) we often have 2 different meals with one shared dish; this is one such example.

We have 40-50 wild turkeys that visit our yard, eat bugs, preen, play, and nap. These are a few on one of today's visits that are displaying beautifully so I grabbed a quick clip.
