Sharing some of my photos from this week, all of which were taken through the (not very clean) window, while I have been recovering some sort of nasty cold or something. Happy to have so many visitors!

I'm no singer, but sometimes I just want to do it anyway! This is one of those times.

Today I had a less painful day than usual (service dog Maisie almost had the day off, even!) so I took my 2 parrot cages apart and gave them a good cleaning, then I did the same for the whole living room, rearranging a few things at the same time!

It is fascinating to watch these protective "uncles" around the babies, especially when other turkeys come around and the form a line between the babies and the intruder(s)!

We spent most of the day outside enjoying the beautiful weather. After our pizza we took a nap as usual, then Pete and Chuy went to watch some TV in Junior (our travel trailer) while I played my keyboard and played with my birds.

Finding a fun "deals" store in Harrodsburg.

This is my first recording with my first electric ukulele. I'm playing it like I play my acoustic ukes because that's the only way I know how 🤪. I chose the song earlier today, created an arrangement on my Yamaha PSR-S950, recorded it, then finally connected the ukulele to the keyboard and recorded playing it all together. (I'm a lot better on keyboards, being a lifelong pianist but I have just as much fun with my ukes!) Anyway, people said they wanted to hear the new uke so here it is...and all those reviews were totally on point that said the strings are "crap"... I will definitely be replacing them which should get more consistent sound. Thanks for listening, anyway... I'm having a blast! 😀

Since I do IF/moderate carb and hubby does pescatarian (actually mostly vegetarian but occasional fish) we often have 2 different meals with one shared dish; this is one such example.
