1. Drink plenty of water - fluids.
It is very important when it comes to lung infections that we understand our body needs more than normal amount of fluids. Try to remember as you go throughout your day to drink more water than you normally would it's that simple.
2. Get plenty of rest.
Getting plenty of rest is important for your immune system in general. When you have plenty of rest what happens is this builds up your immune system.
3. Get plenty of hot steam.
This is a simple one all you need to do is sit in front of a humidifier or place a towel over your head with some warm or hot water in a bowl or pot and inhale.
4. Deep breathing exercises.
This one will help and is one of my favorite home remedies for a cough that is practiced.
5. Try lightly patting your back.
Have a friend or partner tap or Pat on your back lightly. This will help break up any congestion that is built up in your lungs.
6. Drink ginger tea.
Drinking ginger tea is a great health benefit to add when it comes to home remedies for lung infection and cough.
You can also eat raw ginger if you choose but it does not have the greatest of tastes.
7. Gargle with salt water.
Gargling with salt water will help ease a sore throat and help with your lung infection as well. Simply add a teaspoon of salt to warm or lukewarm water and gargle a few times daily.
