Picking Up a Cattle Panel Without a Truck
Cattle panels have so many uses in the garden and around the homestead, but most people transport them in the bed of a pickup truck. We don't have a truck, so we are bringing home a cattle panel without one - come hang out with us and see how we do it!

Planting Peas | Zone 6a | Does Soaking Peas Make a Difference?
Does soaking peas before planting reduce germination time and increase germination rates?
Peas are one vegetable that you can plant in March! I'm planting in Connecticut (zone 6a), and I usually plant my peas in mid-March. In the past, I've never soaked my peas before planting, but this year I'm giving it a try! I soaked some of my peas overnight, and I'm not soaking others - we'll wait for them to sprout and compare results! Stay tuned to see the full results!
