The Error Of Balaam
Jude writes in verse 11 about the error of Balaam.
The error of Balaam was his desire for reward. Balaam's Intense, selfish desire and greed for possessions, including wealth, fame and power, made him an enemy of God. Lets examine our selfs to see if we too are following in the footsteps of Balaam?
=====================================================
2 Peter 2:15 mention the way of Balaam.
2 Peter talks about sinners, evil and arrogance people.
Clergy and lay people alike who have forsaken the right way, They have gone astray, following the way of Balaam who loved the wages of unrighteousness.
Can you and I seek the way of Jesus every day? So that we will not be lured into the way of Balaam.
======================================
Revelation 2:14, Talks about the doctrine of Balaam.
Balaam taught King Balak how to get the Israelites to commit sin. Balaam received a desired reward from balak for teaching him to trick the Israelites into sinning.
We see in these three passages that Christians God’s people are entering a state of affairs within Christendom that not only defiles their high calling, but also dishonors the Lord who purchased their salvation with His own blood.

Do Mennonites Pay Taxes?
The question was asked, if mennonites pay their taxes. A true mennonite does, pay his taxes. However, A mennonite in name only might try to cut corners or cheat.
The temple tax collectors asked Peter if his master
doesn’t pay taxes. Peter told them that he does.
Jesus told Peter to go down to the shore and throw in a line, and open the mouth of the first fish you catch. You will find a coin to cover the taxes for both of us; take it and pay them. Matthew chapter 17.
Jesus was asked if it is right to pay taxes to Caesar or not.
Jesus told them to give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God. Matthew chapter 22.
A genuine mennonite looks at God's word for guidance. A liberal mennonite ( so called, mennonite. ) looks at the world and tradition for guidance.

This video is looking at some facts about mennonites. What are MENNONITE? What does it mean to be a MENNONITE?

The Mennonites are Christian groups belonging to the church communities of Anabaptist denominations named after Menno Simons (1496–1561) of Friesland (which today is a province of the Netherlands). Through his writings, Simons articulated and formalized the teachings of earlier Swiss founders. The early teachings of the Mennonites were founded on the belief in both the mission and ministry of Jesus, which the original Anabaptist followers held to with great conviction despite persecution by the various Roman Catholic and Protestant states. Rather than fight, the majority of these followers survived by fleeing to neighboring states where ruling families were tolerant of their radical belief in believer's baptism. Over the years, Mennonites have become known as one of the historic peace churches because of their commitment to pacifism.
In contemporary 21st-century society, Mennonites either are described only as a religious denomination with members of different ethnic origins or as both an ethnic group and a religious denomination. There is controversy among Mennonites about this issue, with some insisting that they are simply a religious group while others argue that they form a distinct ethnic group. Historians and sociologists have increasingly started to treat Mennonites as an ethno-religious group, while others have begun to challenge that perception. There is also a discussion about the term "ethnic Mennonite". Conservative Mennonite groups, who speak Pennsylvania German, Plautdietsch (Low German), or Bernese German fit well into the definition of an ethnic group, while more liberal groups and converts in developing countries do not.
There are about 2.1 million Anabaptists worldwide as of 2015 (including Mennonites, Amish, Mennonite Brethren, and many other Anabaptist groups formally part of the Mennonite World Conference). Mennonite congregations worldwide embody the full scope of Mennonite practice from "plain people" to those who are indistinguishable in dress and appearance from the general population. Mennonites can be found in communities in at least 87 countries on six continents. The largest populations of Mennonites are to be found in Canada, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, India and the United States. There are German Mennonite colonies in Argentine Confederation, Belize, Bolivia, Federative Republic of Brazil, the United Mexican States, Uruguay, and Paraguay, who are mostly descendants of Plautdietsch-speaking Mennonites who formed as a German ethnic group in what is today Ukraine. Today, less than 500 Mennonites remain in Ukraine. A relatively small Mennonite presence, known as the Algemene Doopsgezinde Societeit, still continues in the Netherlands, where Simons was born.
