AVOID THE WRATH OF GOD! | MEMORIZE HIS VERSES TODAY John 3:36 With Commentary!
Memorize His verses today! When we remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is John 3:36, “The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who disobeys the Son will not see life—but the wrath of God remains on him.”
In John chapter 3, verses 22 through 36, we find the final testimony of John the Baptist. In this passage, John clarifies that He was preparing the way for Jesus. In verse 36, the closing of His testimony, John explains that we only have 2 options. We can trust Jesus, or we can reject Him. Rejecting Him is willful disobedience that results in the wrath of God. This wrath is God's only righteous reaction to evil. This wrath is both present and future. Current and eternal punishment is due to those that reject salvation.
Why should we memorize the daily Bible verse today? Here are five reasons to remember the daily Bible verse today: Number 1 - The Bible tells us to. Colossians 3:16 says, "Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts." (New Living Translation). Number 2- JESUS quoted Bible verses from the Old Testament more than 150 times, demonstrating why it's important to remember a verse today. When we memorize His word daily, we see the difference in our lives and our witnessing His Good News, love, and WISDOM. Number 3- the Sword of the Spirit mentioned in Ephesians 6 is the word of God, Bible verses! When we memorize His word every day, it equips us with the Word of God to defend ourselves against the enemy’s will. Number 4 - Jesus instructs us in the Great Commission, Mathew 28:16-20, that we are to continue the work He started by spreading His Good News to the ends of the earth. Today's Bible verse helps us remember His word when we need it to fulfill this instruction from Him. Number 5 - Scripture is God's wisdom to help us live more productive lives as we fulfill our purpose for His kingdom. God's word is alive, and when we remember a verse a day will help us experience all of what that means in our life. As we remember a verse a day, we are more prepared for biblical living.

DON’T TRUST THAT GUY! | MEMORIZE HIS VERSES TODAY Jeremiah 17:5 With Commentary!
Memorize His verses today! When we remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is Jeremiah 17:5, “Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD.”
In Jeremiah chapter 17, verses 1 through 13, we see the contrasting fate of the righteous and the wicked. The wicked, those who turn from God and trust in man and human institutions, are destined for discomfort and death. On the other hand, those that trust the Lord will flourish regardless of the circumstances around them. This point is made clear in verse 5, where it is said that God will curse the wicked and worldly people.

This teaching focuses on the need for self-control and godliness both in the church and in the home. The use of the word grace here in verse 11 is a reference to Jesus’s appearance on earth and the grace from the Father resulting from Jesus’s life, death on the cross, and resurrection, ultimately resulting in salvation for believers.

PREPARE FOR BATTLE! | MEMORIZE HIS VERSES TODAY | Ephesians 6:10 With Commentary!
Memorize His verses today! When we remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is Ephesians 6:10, “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.”
Ephesians Chapter 6, verses 10 through 24 are titled “The Armor of God.” Paul ensures his readers understand that the battle before them is not with flesh and blood. The troubles we face are not with people but with rulers, powers, and forces of darkness. This is spiritual warfare! In this first verse of this passage, we are instructed to prepare for battle by finding our strength in the Lord. God gave the Israelites a similar instruction in preparation for the battle for the promised land. Take a look at Deuteronomy chapter 31 verse 23 and Joshua Chapter 1 verse 6 for these supporting verses.

ALIVE IN THE WOMB! | MEMORIZE HIS VERSES TODAY | Job 31:15
Memorize His verses today! When we seek Him daily and remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is Job 31:15, “Did not He who made me in the womb make him, And the same one fashion us in the womb?”

FEELING ANXIOUS? | MEMORIZE HIS VERSES TODAY | 1 Peter 5:7 With Commentary!
Memorize His verses today! When we seek Him daily and remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is 1 Peter 5:7, “casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”
In this verse, we are seeing a parallel to Psalm 55:22, where it is written that we should cast our burdens on the Lord because He will sustain us. These are not just promises for the future. God cares for and provides for us today. He is always listening to our prayers. Talk to Him! Tell Him you need His strength and that you are giving Him your fears and anxieties. Then let go. You can’t keep what you give away!

DON’T BE A FOOL! | MEMORIZE HIS VERSES TODAY | Romans 1:22 With Commentary!
Memorize His verses today! When we seek Him daily and remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is Romans 1:22, “Professing to be wise, they became fools.”
Romans chapter 1 verses 18 through 32 are teaching about the consequences of unbelief. We read that the wrath of God is against all ungodliness and unrighteousness. Here in verse 22, we are told that those that think they are wise become fools. This is a lesson in humility, but more than that it is a reminder of the ways of those that don’t trust God. Further down in this passage we learn that God gives those that trust the lies over to themselves to be destroyed. We suggest adding this passage to your reading list.

AVOID THEIR NONSENSE! | MEMORIZE HIS VERSES TODAY | Colossians 2:8 With Commentary!
Memorize His verses today! When we seek Him daily and remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is Colossians 2:8, “Don’t let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ.”
Colossians Chapter 2 verse 3 is addressing false teaching. We are being instructed to find our stability in Christ and not in the teachings of people. The Colossian church was dealing with people teaching Gnosticism, Judaism, mysticism, and various other cultish beliefs. Nearly 2000 years later we are dealing with the same things, and we need to remember that the truth doesn’t come from smooth-talking teachers or those proposing ideas we have been taught to agree with. Our worldview can only be formed by the teachings of Jesus, or we risk becoming fools.

DON’T CONFORM TO THE WAYS OF UNBELIEVERS! | MEMORIZE HIS VERSES TODAY | Romans 12:2 With Commentary!
Memorize His verses today! When we seek Him daily and remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is Romans 12:2, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Chapter 12 is titled "dedicated service." Here, in verse 2, Paul is teaching about conforming to the will of God. The renewal of the mind through this conformity results in a transformation of the believer. Paul's instruction to the Romans, and us, is to recognize that God has reconciled the world through Christ and that we are transformed to the will of God and no longer behave like the world of unbelievers. Only through spiritual renewal can we discern and desire the will of God.

(Deuteronomy 11:18 The NET Bible First Edition) "Bind them on your heart continually; fasten them around your neck. When you walk about, they will guide you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; when you wake up, they will talk to you." (Proverbs 6:21-22 The NET Bible First Edition)
