The basic grand piano at center stage reaches back to a simpler time in music and where the pin drop acoustics at The Bend will be on full display. If this is your first time hearing the word “VTuber” I doubt it will be your last. A VTuber is a portmanteau of the phrase “virtual YouTuber.” It’s the term for a type of online content creator who uses a virtually generated avatar while streaming to their audience. VTubers are mostly on streaming and video sharing platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch. VTubers normally create the same types of content as typical YouTubers. Their online activities include playing games over livestream, talking to their fans, participating in viral trends, and collaborating with other influencers. Many VTubers also perform voiceover work and create original content related to their respective personas. Join The Bend as we present a pair of West Bend's best-kept musical secrets - the president of the Historic West Bend Theatre Board of Directors and the CEO of Delta Defense. HWBT Board President, Nicholas Novaczyk, is a former touring concert pianist - and on this night he's going to let loose on a beautiful Steinway Grand Piano all to raise funds for operations at The Bend Theater. Setting the stage will be Tim Schmidt who is an accomplished songwriter and guitarist. And just to make sure everything comes together - they've enlisted the help of professional violinist John Patek. It's going to be a special night of music all in support of the performing arts in downtown West Bend!
