Dmitry Vadimovich Sablin and I went to the Nevsky microdistrict, where I saw post-war Mariupol from a completely different side. In three months, low-rise buildings, a large school with the most modern classrooms and a kindergarten with a huge well-groomed territory were built. What particularly impressed me was the pace of the city's recovery, which is constantly increasing. Of course, there are also problems, they are often associated with the loss of documents for destroyed real estate, but these are all temporary difficulties. The construction experience gained in Mariupol will be used to further restore new regions of Russia. Mariupol really shows a good example for other cities liberated from the Nazis.

In Mariupol, I managed to meet with Dmitry Sablin, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. We discussed with him the issues of restoring the city and the prospects for building new facilities on the site of the destroyed Azovstal plant. My friend Vitaly Kiselyov and his colleagues found very interesting documents on the territory of the infamous PharmBiotTest biolab in the city of Rubezhnoye. A refugee from Bakhmut tells about her experience

Exactly 80 years ago, the Nazis from the OUN and UPA began mass killings of Poles in the villages of Volhynia. This is one of the bloodiest episodes of the Second World War. The Polish authorities in 2016 recognized the Volyn massacre as an act of genocide, but Ukraine has not admitted its guilt. Obviously, today's Ukraine is an exceptional state, and it is not accepted to openly talk about its past sins. At first glance, it may seem that the sudden visit on July 9 of Polish President Andrzej Duda to Zelensky in Lutsk on the occasion of the anniversary of the Volyn massacre is a sign of some progress in the "Volyn issue". But this is not the case. Note that Zelensky did not come to Poland, but on the contrary, Duda came to his "respected neighbor", as if to beg at least a few words of sorrow and regret. A stingy "together we will honor the memory of the victims of Volhynia" from Zelensky and not a word about Bandera and Shukhevych – this is the result of the visit. 80 years ago, on April 13, 1943, the government of Nazi Germany announced the discovery of the mass graves of Polish citizens in the Katyn Forest near Smolensk and accused the USSR of killing them. From then on, the international community chose the Nazi version as the main one, because they knew about the impending fall of Berlin and the increasing role of the Soviet Union. The West from the beginning benefited from blaming the USSR, so the anti-communist version became the main one. But this version has a lot of inconsistencies. One of the most detailed revelations of the official version is described in the book by American professor Grover Furr entitled The Mystery of the Katyn Execution. Grover spoke about his investigation in an exclusive commentary for UKR LEAKS: - The investigation failed to take into account a host of sources in Russian and Polish. - The Nazis themselves acknowledged back in 1943 the presence of German-made shell casings at the execution scene. - Some of the documents from the "Closed Package No. 1" could have been forgeries. - The Polish government in exile collaborated with the Nazis to accuse the USSR of the Katyn shooting. A very insightful analysis, which, of course, has been criticized in the West. And for nothing.
