Someday is NOT a Day of the Week!

12 Year Old Catches Redfish Like A Boss
I've been taking my kids fishing off of kayaks since they were 3 years old. We started by putting them on a custom rig on the back deck of my Hobie PA 14 and we absolutely slayed tons of fish over the years.
Well, my oldest is shooting up like a weed, so it was time to upgrade to Hobie's biggest rig: The Hobie PA 17T, a 17 foot long, two-seat BEAST of a kayak! We can not only cover a ton of water, thanks to 2 sets of peddles, but we can now cover an insane amount of fishing grounds since we can each cast on our own.
Our go to, and my personal favorite method of fishing, is using topwater lures like the Heddon One-Knocker Spook in bone and the Mirrolure Top Dog. Between these two lures (which are interchangeable in my mind) and the MR-17 or MR-XL jerk bait, I catch about 95% of my fish. They are that awesome.
So hop into the driver's seat with us as we hunt for monster redfish, trout, bluefish, ladyfish, and mangrove snapper on some of the most beautiful and plentiful waters in the world: Pensacola Beach, FL!

How to Buy a Rental Property the RIGHT Way!
I recently did a video on a really cool sequence of events that happened in my business. I pulled off a hat trick when I bought 3 separate rental properties that all came as a result of the 1st one.

This video will go into the details of how we started the hat trick. From sourcing and negotiating the deal, to funding and closing the deal, the rehab process, and most importantly, the detailed method I used to calculate my anticipated returns.
The key to buying real estate is to know your numbers, run them correctly, and stick to them!!! Don't stretch your budget just because you think you'll miss out on a deal. 99% of the time this will lead to you buying a dud and/or missing out on an even better deal later on down the road. This doesn't mean that you should get "analysis paralysis" and NEVER pull the trigger, because there is no such thing as a "perfect" deal.
Run your numbers, do as much due diligence as time allows, and if the numbers make sense, pull the trigger and buy it!

How to Really Home School
I'm sitting here watching the movie adaptation of "Atlas Shrugged" and all I can say is that I'm thankful that we removed our kids from the public indoctrination system years ago.
I am extremely thankful and proud of my wife, Katie, for her tireless dedication and efforts to ensure our 4 kids will be well-equipped to battle and disarm progressives who peddle collectivism and utilitarianism.
They will grow up as warriors in the fight against ignorance, complacency, and government reliance. They will become financially, mentally, and morally wealthy beyond what most people can imagine. This will all be made possible largely due to Katie's efforts as their educator.

How I Pulled Off a Hat Trick with Real Estate
I was a pretty good athlete in high school and college, but I always regretted not playing one of the coolest sports on the planet: Hockey!
Small playing field, extremely fast-paced, and hard hitting; hockey has it all. I also have the utmost respect for the players, because they will shrug off and play with injuries that would put any other athlete in the hospital. They are amazing athletes, and it is one of the most manly sports still in existence.
Why am I talking so much about hockey you might ask? Well, because one of the most amazing feats a hockey player can achieve in a single game is a "Hat Trick". A hat trick, if you don't know, is when a single player scores 3 or more goals in a game. This doesn't happen all that often, and when it does, all the fans throw their hats onto the ice and the stadium goes wild!
Well, I scored my own version of a hat trick in my real estate business this summer. I bought 3 consecutive properties that all came as a result of scoring 1 awesome deal.
I'm going to go through how I sourced, negotiated, and closed all 3 deals, and I will tell you the key techniques I employ to do this all the time.
I may not always score a hat trick, but I've turned good deals into great deals on more than several occasions using this approach, and I want to share it with you in this video.

I HATE This Phrase, and YOU Should Too!
I can't stand a limiting or scarcity mindset! It is 100% ok to be nervous, intimidated, or even scared to step out of your comfort zone; in fact, it's totally NORMAL.
But when we say "It must be nice..." that is the first step towards serfdom. We can't limit our mindset to wishing or hoping things will be better, just because it would be nice if that was the case. The only way to achieve success and independence is to change our scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset.
It is so simple. We literally just need to add one more word to the limiting phrase of "It must be nice..." Add the word "will" to this phrase and watch what happens: "It WILL be nice..." That completely changed that phrase from one of scarcity to one of abundance!
Just like I teach people to get rid of the phrase "I can't afford that" and replace it with "HOW can I afford that?", I also want you to remove "It must be nice..." with "It WILL be nice..."
Do this and you will see your business and financial house experience a drastic change!

Scalloping and Diving 3 Sisters in Crystal River, FL
Katie and I recently celebrated our 15-year wedding anniversary (known as the "Crystal" anniversary)
We figured what better way to celebrate our crystal anniversary than in one of the most beautiful places we've ever been: Crystal River, FL!

We booked a full day of scalloping and fishing with Captain Zac Zachary of "Tried and True Fishing Charters" and we had probably the best fishing trips of my life! We had our own adult Easter egg hunt looking for those sneaky scallops, and then we absolutely wore the redfish out! Katie kicked my tail big time with the reds, but it was totally worth the smile on her face every time she hooked into one of those feisty fish.

While we loved scalloping and fishing, the highlight of our trip was diving 3 Sisters Springs. Words can't describe how crystal clear and beautiful that water was. I'm not sure if it was the 70 degree water or the scenery that took our breaths away (lol), but we were left breathless nonetheless by that place. We got up close and personal with a family of manatees on our way back from 3 Sisters. Baby manatee was very curious and not shy at all. He just munched away on his breakfast while checking us out :)
We'll definitely be back next year, and next time I'll take a camera that does a better job of capturing the beauty of that place.

15 Life Lessons from Great Men
Many of us have at least one strong male figure in our life who helped mold and shape our morals and ethics. Who provided sage wisdom, steeped in tradition, over a very long and eventful life.
These morals and bits of precious wisdom are vital to ensuring that chivalry, honor, and morality continue to live on in this world. However, this is wholly dependent upon US passing the torch onto our children, grandchildren, and subsequent generations.

‎C. Northcote Parkinson was a British Naval Officer who came up with 3 very "common sense" Laws back in the 50's.
These 3 laws have stood the test of time and have had very big implications in my life. I can almost guarantee you have experienced at least 1, if not all, of Parkinson's Laws in your life, and I think you'll be able to recall these instances immediately while watching this video.

Keep Your Caulk Clean!
In the Marine Corps, we had an entire1,000 page publication dedicated to "Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures" or "TTPs". Contained inside our TTP pub was decades of corporate knowledge about the most effective, efficient, and safe ways to accomplish our mission.
In the fleet, many of these TTPs are classified or at least controlled, so definitely not for public consumption. However, here at MillionHeir Mafia, I'm going to give you all the TTPs I know for achieving financial independence for you and your family. Sometimes these will be life-altering concepts that completely reshape your outlook on life. Other times I will show you some of the little tools I've added to my tool bag that help me be more efficient in my day-to-day operations.
This is one of those "little" tool videos, but that doesn't mean it isn't important. Maybe I'm just anal about caulk...wait...but it's one of the first things I look at when I step into a house. If the attention to detail on something as easy as trim is poor, what does that say about the rest of the house, and what does that say about the owner of the property?

Life's a Beach! Take Time to Enjoy it
The Cham Fam had to take a break from all the rehab and enjoy our beautiful Pensacola beaches. We had tropical storm Fred bearing down on us, but he turned out to be a light weight and actually gave us beautiful, albeit very windy, weather (sorry for the wind noise, guys. I'm going to make some mods to my camera to reduce that for next time)
I gave the kiddos camera duty for most of the day just to see how it turned out. I cut out most of Lexi's footage to save you all from getting sea sick, haha!

You Will Never Own Your Home

Yeah, that's right, homeownership is a myth that has been propagated by the government since the 1930's as the "American Dream". The problem is that it is an outright lie. Think you own your home? Try not paying property taxes for a couple years and see how long it takes for your "American Dream" to turn into an "American Nightmare".
If paying off your mortgage makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside, then you should absolutely do that. I just want to dispel a couple common misconceptions about what paying off your mortgage actually means, vs what some of the leading financial pundits would have you believe. My biggest issue is that these so-called "financial experts" are withholding critical details about what paying off your mortgage actually means to you (it ain't all sunshine and rainbows).

Afghanistan: The Greatest Mission of My Life
One of the things I miss most about the Marine Corps is sitting around the smoke pit with my fellow warriors, reminiscing about our recent engagements, near-death experiences, and "No Sh!t there I was..." stories.
This video is going to take you back to the Spring of 2011 in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. It's the tail end of my first deployment as an AH-1W Cobra pilot. It's a typical 130 degree day, we've already completed a few routine missions and I had just lit a fresh cigar in the smoke pit.
And then...we hear it: "TIC, TIC, TIC!!!"
You'll be riding shotgun on the greatest mission of my life, and you'll experience the event that made becoming an attack pilot worth all the hard work up to that point, and completely changed the way I handled the rest of my career as a Marine officer.
You'll get to experience the shot of pure adrenaline of the Troops In Contact (TIC) horn going off that we lived on for 7 months at a time. You'll see the organized chaos of an entire squadron prepping and launching a section of skids, armed to the teeth, to go do battle with our enemy. You'll experience the heroism of the Medivac aircraft who risked their lives daily and willingly to get to injured Marines and Soldiers, and ensure they had a fighting chance to live by getting them to a higher level care facility. And, finally, you'll hear how the greatest Marine I ever knew completely changed an objective area and saved an entire platoon with just a few words (and a whole lot of hot lead!)

Awesome New Paint Roller #FlippinFamily
This video is going to focus on the "hands on" aspect of what the MillionHeir Maifa is about.
Public Indoctrination...er..."School" has begun for the masses, but we never stopped. Granted, we cut back to 3 days a week during the summer, but we eliminated the need to spend the first 6 weeks recapping the previous year, AND it affords us the ability to take random time off throughout the year since the kids are so far ahead. Remember, this channel isn't just about financial freedom, it is about complete FREEDOM to do what we want, when we want, how we want, as long as it doesn't infringe upon anyone else's rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness! We are teaching our kids this at a much earlier age then we ever learned it. We aren't perfect, but that's what life is about, right?
Anyway, back to the title theme (sorry, I went all William Wallace on you guys, lol)...
I don't know about you guys, but I HATE painting houses!!! Like, I would rather do almost anything but paint, which is ironic, because I used to be a pretty good artist in my heyday. Anything that helps me shave off some time on painting my flips and rentals is precious time I don't have to spend doing what I despise. SOOOOOOO...I bought an 18" roller!!!
I actually got this idea from a painter who painted the exterior of our office in Fort Walton Beach. The office is a MASSIVE 5,000 sqft, 2-story stucco building that I figured would take him and his 3-man crew at least a week. Well, two days later, I came back and he was wrapping things up and the building looked AWESOME!!! I asked him if he had extra help come out besides his 3 crewmembers, and he was like "No, boss, I just use THIS!" and he pulled out this massive paint roller sleeve. I was instantly sold, and went out and bought his setup the next time I was at Home Depot.

At the end of the day, I rolled a 1,400 sqft home in 3 hours, and it was full of lots of nooks and crannies that slowed me down. I was very impressed with the coverage, how light-weight it was, and the durability of the equipment. I would highly recommend trying these out if you are a serious landlord.
Whether you are a DIY kinda investor, or just want your rehab crews to work more efficiently (time is money!!!), this is a must have in your arsenal!

You're Wrong, Dave Ramsey. Debt is NOT Dumb
We've all heard the line "Debt is dumb!" over and over again by the man who has taught millions of financially illiterate people to stop being stupid with their finances.
But what if, despite all the propaganda to the contrary, debt isn't as scary as pundits like Dave Ramsey and Suze Orman make it out to be?
Dave Ramsey speaks of debt like progressives speak of all the "scary" guns roaming the streets like packs of rabid wolves. Like it is some scary monster to be feared and avoided at all costs, lest it viciously jumps out and attacks you when you least expect it.
Like firearms, in the hands of the wrong person, debt can absolutely kill you. But, if you are properly trained and educated and have a healthy respect for debt, it can be the greatest tool in your arsenal towards achieving MASSIVE wealth and prosperity.
What all the debt free advocates fail to tell their customers is that nobody will EVER be debt free! You have a "free and clear" house? Try not paying taxes and see how long it takes before you lose your house at a tax deed auction. Have a million dollars in your bank account? You just lost 5% last year on inflation (and that's actually an extremely low estimate). Looking forward to taking distributions from your 401k or IRA soon? What happens when you hit mandatory distribution age and the stock market crashes? Uncle Sam MAKES you take distributions whether you want to or not!!!
I'm not saying that Dave Ramsey's advice is not good. What I am saying is that his advice fails to paint the whole financial picture. I totally understand why he does this though. He is speaking to financially illiterate people who can't keep their finances in order. I get it, guys because I was one of those people just 6 years ago!

You can't talk differential equations to a kindergartner, and you can't talk advanced financial strategy to someone who can't stop spending their money on dumb stuff.
Financial Peace University is a great foundational stepping stone towards realizing you have a problem, and getting yourself to stop digging a financial hole. But you have to move past that!!! You have to move past being a kindergartner and learn higher level financial strategies and concepts. That's how you grow!
Please do not think I am speaking ill of Dave Ramsey or any of his students. We all have to start somewhere, and FPU is a great place to start. However, if you stay at that level of financial IQ for the rest of your lives, you will never achieve your full financial potential. To me, Dave Ramsey would and should commend you to do so, because achieving massive wealth will allow you to do the very thing his entire program is based on:
"Live like no one else, so you can LIVE and GIVE like no one else!"

How to Rig Your Hobie Pro Angler Kayak to Go Fishing with Your Kids
As far as I can tell, this is literally the ONLY video I have found that shows how you can very easily modify your Hobie Pro Angler 14 to safely and comfortably add a seat for a child.
I have had my kids fishing with me on the back of my Hobie Pro Angler since they were only 3 years old. I still take my oldest daughter, who is 13 years old and almost 100 lbs, out all the time, and I have NEVER felt uncomfortable or unstable while fishing with them. We get a lot of chop and big waves from all the yachts that transit our bays here in Pensacola, so we have put it through the paces of seaworthiness.

This is my real world application of how I used the BRRRR process on my 1st real estate deal with ZERO money down!
After I got my feet wet, I started branching out into commercial real estate opportunities like mobile home parks, apartment complexes, office spaces, and self-storage facilities. I explain how I made the transition from my first single rental unit all the way into an additional 300 units in a very short amount of time. Most importantly, I will tell you how to do it to!
Eventually, we all run out of money so we have to go find other sources of funds from other people, like banks and private lenders, or we have to find another revenue stream to fund our own deals. I hit this same "cash wall" and decided to start flipping houses. I wasn't sure how to go about doing that, so I partnered with a master flipper instead. I brought value to his (now "our") company, and learned the trade along the way. This has allowed both of us to add an additional $1 Million a year in revenue AND another $1 Million (and growing) to our asset column!!!

This is a quick, down and dirty argument for why you might want to keep your day job, and how it may actually be the key to your financial and professional goals. I can say with absolute certainty that my W2 was the foundation upon which I built my business, and it actually accelerated my exit from the employee quadrant and into the entrepreneur quadrant of the Cash Flow Quadrant.
