Shifting is also known as quantum jumping and quantum shifting, and it’s a current trend made popular on video sharing app TikTok and Amino. By using scripts (aka scripting), meditations, affirmations, subliminals, binaural beats, and other reality shifting techniques and reality shifting tips (such as the shifting ‘heartbeat method’), many people believe they are able to transfer their consciousness or point of awareness, to alternate realities (for example, parallel universes or alternative realities) and different dimensions. Shifting has also been discussed by many YouTubers and TikTok personalities, like Anthony Padillia, TheOdd1sOut, Jambasmurf, Explore Lucid Dreaming, Shimmey Shay, Kristeau and several others. It is also a very common theme in science fiction movies and TV, for example, Sliders, Quantum Leap, Fringe, Black Mirror, The Man in the High Castle, Awake, Rick and Morty, etc. The mechanics of shifting are a little debated. What seems most likely, is that our consciousness is able to shift its attention and awareness to a particular point in the infinite hologram. Whether or not it’s possible to go to sleep and wake up in an alternate timeline, is impossible to prove or disprove.
