Spiritual warfare is a reality of living the Christian life. The church is called to defeat the lies of the devil but those lies are powerful and we are not to use the schemes and tactics of this world to defeat them. We need divine power to bring down these strongholds.

In the Fog of Fear, we may miss out on the blessings that God has for us. Let us not discount our faith in an almighty God that can accomplish great things in and through us.

Leviticus is a book that might seem odd to the modern reader in some of its regulations but it was all about the people of Israel being separate and distinct from the surrounding nations and their practices. God called his people to be holy. The message is the same today. To not follow the behaviors of this world. But to be a light in the darkness.

Although we are not under the Old Covenant as the Israelites were Leviticus teaches us about worshiping a Holy God.

What was the purpose of the tabernacle in the wilderness for Israel and how does it apply to the church today.?

Various groups work hard to make sure the 10 commandments cannot be displayed in schools or any public place under the guise of defending the first amendment. But is there another motivation?. what is so threatening or controversial about the 10 commandments? How do they apply to the church today and what is their relevance in our culture?

Not all oppression is obvious. the Israelites were to be delivered from the oppressive Egyptians but they still had to deal with an unseen enemy once they had left Egypt. it's an enemy of the soul that still stifles freedom to be who God has called us to be. But there is some good news if we are willing to accept it. (note:- the Passover protected the Israelites but not the Egyptians from judgement)
