Shofar Trumpet (then Behold Wrath)
What does The Last Trump sound like? There are three types of Shofar blast during the Feast of Trumpets (modern Rosh Hashanah season). The third and longest one is the Last Trump blown over a two day period after 200 trumpet blasts, the Tekiah Gedolah. Many Bible experts agree this is the trumpet call coinciding with the Rapture of the Bride of Christ to meet the Bridegroom in the air... followed not long after by a seven year period of Trouble or Tribulation upon those that dwell on the earth.

Amillennial Pastor and friend Josh Banks does an excellent job with Exodus 33-34 in exegeting how gracious and forgiving God is of Israel because it is not about them and it is not about you! God's promises are about Him and His glory. God is faithful where we are not, just as with Israel. Friends, God is not done with Israel!

The Earthly Kingdom - Part Four of Amil & Postmil Objections to Pre-mil (Shorts)
Well, is there a Millennium? And if so, is it now, in Heaven? Or is it future on earth? How do the verses square with passages about New Heaven and New Earth? Do these verses utterly destroy Amillennialism as we know it? You will have to decide whether to believe what you read, or what you have been told.

the Land Promises and Joshua - Part Three of Amil & Postmil Objections to Pre-mil (Shorts)
To deal with the issue of "thousand" year reign (millennial kingdom) the amillennialist must nuke everything associated with that terminology, including saying that either/or (depending upon the stripe of amil) the promises to Israel have all been fulfilled, and/or that enough have been fulfilled and the rest are now for the Church. Also, we must now ignore Romans 9-11 (particularly 11) or find ways to symbolize it or explain it away. Symbolism remains the magic wand to wave when we want a passage to go away.

"Apocalyptic" and "thousand" - Part Two of Amil & Post-Mil Objections to Pre-Mil (Shorts)
So what is Apocalyptic Literature? Does it mean what we are told? You may be surprised, and that's too bad. How about "thousand" used six times in Revelation chapter 20? Does thousand mean thousand? Why or why not?

Apocalyptic Literature - Part Two of Amil & Post-Mil Objections to Pre-Mil (Shorts)
What does Apocalyptic mean anyway? What is the Apocalypse? Does it actually mean "symbolic"? IS there symbolism in Revelation? Is it ONLY in "apocalyptic" writings? What about those numbers? Does thousand mean thousand? And if not does one mean one? Does seven mean seven? Who decides? Dispensational Pre-Millennialism or Amillennialism or Post Millennialism?

Intro to Amillennial Post-Millennial Objections to Pre-Millennialism
First in a series of shorts on the subject at hand, answering questions based upon biblical passages given, from a certain pre-millennial perspective. I identify myself as Pre-mil, Pre-trib, Restorationist (don't bother looking that up in eschatological terms). In other words, by Restorationist I mean Christ will of necessity fully restore and renew the heavens and the earth PRIOR to his Millennial reign on the earth. For more on that, please see the Revelation 19-22 videos in the Revelation Playlist.

Revelation Session 40 - Chapter 21 - New Jerusalem
Chapter 21 of Revelation gives us a look at the New Heaven and New Earth, including New Jerusalem. In my view, the Pre-Tribulation, Premillennial, Restorationist perspective, the New Jerusalem, which is identified with the Bride of Christ, the Church, is our home. Christ returns WITH his church. That puts the New Jerusalem coming down to earth, with Christ and we in our new home, not hanging around in Heaven for a thousand years. Also, Christ will have to "make all things new" at the beginning of the millennium, not the end. The earth is a complete mess. This fits with the language of Revelation 16 as well as the hyperbolic destructiveness of The Day of the Lord spoken of in 2 Peter 3 and the parent passage of Peter found in Isaiah 65.

Revelation Session 38 - Millennial Views - Chapter 20
#Revelation #Millenium #MillennialKingdom #thousandyears #christ
Okay so Chapter 20 gives us much information about the Kingdom, some of which we find in the Old Testament. Four major scenarios are in view here but Pre-Tribulation PreMillennial perspectives are the ONLY ones that take a normal reading of the passage (Literal View) without reading in symbolism, metaphor, figurative language that is not obviously so.

Revelation Session 37 - The 75 Days and All KInds of Hell - Daniel 12 & Revelation 19:20-21
Daniel 12 adds a buffer of time between the Great Tribulation of Daniel's 70th Week and the start of the Kingdom. 1,335 days are mentioned. Interesting! He created in six days yet stretches this part out. Why? And what is the difference between Hell and the Lake of Fire or Gehenna? What about Tartarus, Hades and Sheol? Take a look.
